Encounter: The Rising of Luna

Eratonium, the most precious and powerful stone of the whole realm finally chooses its owner, a young eighteen-year-old werewolf girl who doesn't know anything about it and the evil world revolving around her. She has to find her rightful mate on her own and crack the mystery of her pack's destruction and her parent's disappearance. This is the story of her journey from being the weakest to the strongest Luna, her journey of falling, betrayals finding her rightful mate, and being able to protect the werewolf world. Disclaimer: This is a werewolf story but also has a lot of magic involved in it. As this is fantasy story, I would request readers not to search for facts. It's solely the imagination of my mind. Please don't forget to vote with your power stones cause it's an Eratonium for me and comment on the story. That's a motivation. Have a nice reading. Thank you!!!

It's...

Chapter 6

Kimberly's POV:

"You can't get up, right?" she asks.

"I'm afraid but it's really difficult." I try to get up but I can't.

"Fine, don't worry. I can carry you?" She places her hand on her forehead and scratches her forehead with her beautiful slender fingers.

But more than her, I am worried. How can she wash me? It's so embarrassing to be washed by someone plus she is a stranger. How can I let her see my whole body and let her touch me? Nobody has done that except my mother. And can she carry me?

"You don't have to worry. I have already shifted. Carrying you is a piece of cake to me. Remember, I am the strongest female member of this pack. No one can beat me, not even Simon," she boasts with pride. But observing her physique, I think she is completely right.

She treads her feet towards me swiftly and stands right beside me. She stretches her hands to pick me up from the bed. I hesitate completely but my hesitation doesn't help me.

She picks me up like some lightweight duvet in her arms. I raise my eyes to get a look at her face. She stands tall carrying me in her arms without any expressions. I feel embarrassed like hell.

"You see…," Before I can complete my sentence she walks ahead and out of the room. I have no other options than being carried away like this, in bridal style in the arms of a girl.

I don't mean to say that I will be proud if a male carries me. I just mean to say it feels just so weird being carried in the lady's arms.

She walks through the alleys in there. The alleys I look forward to seem to be dark but as soon as we start to walk ahead the lights on the alleys get lighted itself.

The lights hanging on the ceiling are of exquisite design and because of that light, I get to see the beautiful intrinsic designs on the wall. The designs are made with golden color with beautiful sketches of flowers and other designs. As the light falls on them when they get switched on, it makes the designs even more beautiful shining with various other colors just like the color of the rainbow.

"This place is beautiful," I let out a low voice of astonishment.

"It is. This was designed by Simon himself. He made this place for Alpha and Archie. So that they could relax and stay away from the pack when they are tired," she says.

So, I was wrong before. This place is secret but between only those three and I guess now more people know about this place. Also, Ashlyn knows about this place. She may be from the highest rank that she could enter and see this place.

"What about you?" I ask in a low voice.

"Those three will never leave me. We are inseparable. That is why I know all about this place," she says.

"Can you please hold onto me a bit properly? You don't have to feel awkward just because I am a girl. I am completely into guys. You don't have to worry about that," she says with a straight face.

"We're here," she informs.

My eyes beam with shock as I see the view in front of me. What is this place?

I see a huge round golden pond in front of me, like so huge. It's not a swimming pool cause for me a swimming pool is a blue color but this is … all golden.

I know that's the reflection of the golden wall around it but that golden water makes me feel like the view of the sunset. Why did Simon even design something like this? And how rich is this pack?

If I was alright and if I love swimming then, I would have jumped with joy in here. Maybe, my legs which are functioning less right now, might have jumped too.

Unfortunately, I am crippled right now and I am not so big fan of swimming at all. I regret I should have at least learned to do that.

She takes a short glimpse of me and clears her throat as she looks at me and places me on the short wall barrier between the concrete area and the water. She helps me sit in the water and take off my clothes.

Honestly, I don't feel good but there aren't any other options too. I have to clean my body at all costs.

"How come your body didn't bleed so much even after falling down that rock cliff?" she asks as she rubs my back.

I haven't seen my body. I don't know in which parts of my body, I am hurt.

"I don't know where I am hurt," I say.

"Oh! Really? Then, let me tell you. You have cuts in your back just below your shoulder, a big cut. The next is on your arms. It's a little bit smaller than your previous one. Your other arm has only bruises but the bruises are quite serious. I see that you have numerous cuts in your thighs and your calves. But they aren't as big as the one in your back. I don't find any cuts in your head," she says as she looks in between my long black hair.

"But I have to say, you surely have a long hair," she adds.

I smile as I hear that. I inherited that trait from my mother. My mother has a long black hair too. Her wolf is enormous and has amazing shiny fluffy black hair making her astoundingly the most beautiful wolf both in human and wolf form.

"D-Don't you hate me? Don't you think that I am a criminal too?" I ask.

Her hands stop as I say that. She pauses and doesn't talk for a while.

"I don't want to hate you now. I have no reason to. But it's only a week. If you are found guilty after a week, trust me it is me who is going to separate your head off your body," she says.

"W-What?" I feel alarmed and scared at the same time.

"Yes. The male wolves don't punish the females. The females do that. And remember, the females are more brutal and heartless than the male wolves are in this pack. You will beg for death not mercy once you get in their hands." Her voice is low but still so much powerful. I see that powerful energy gleaming in her eyes as she says that. Like there is so much hatred for someone and she loses herself while recalling it.

Her eyes… look scary right now. She has blue eyes and the color of her lens changes to darker shades.

"I think we're done," I speak before she gets much hyped.

The hues of her eyes slowly get back to normal. She sits a bit away from me trying to control her anger.

"Oh! I forgot to bring your dress. Let me go and get it," she gets down from the barrier.

"Just wait for a few minutes. I will be back with your dress," she says. I nod my head. The water in the pool isn't cold. It's a warm water. I can see the snow falling outside the window. It's snowing but it isn't cold here in this water. There is no heater or something like that here.

Seems like this is the natural warm water source. I glide a little lower from the barrier and try to put my face inside the water. I slowly try to open my eyes inside the water. I don't know how to swim but I have learned to hold my breath and to see inside the water.

I see my legs beneath me. Yeah, there are cuts and I can see the red color of blood fading in the water. I feel like crying. I remember my pack, my parents, and my place. My life here isn't certain. I don't know if I can live or not.

I don't know why but it pains less in the water. I hold my legs against my chest crouching my whole body and sit on the lower stairs of the pond emerging my head completely inside but in a way, I am not drowned. I am tearing but I am glad the water doesn't let others see it. I am good at holding my breath inside the water and being able to open my eyes in the water. Mother taught me self-tolerance and holding my breath in a big bowl for a long time.

The world is disappointing. How could it give such a huge punishment to me? I sigh inside the water until I hear loud sounds of splashes.

"Did she jump into the water?" I quickly get up from the water to see her.

"Ashlyn...," I call out her name as I wipe away the water away from my face.

But it isn't her. It's...
