Chapter 33

Andreas is in the garden's pavilion with Kenzo as they waited for both girls to come for breakfast. The weather was perfect for venturing into the capital. The sun is shining brightly in the cloudy sky, and it's neither too warm nor too cold. The breeze was just right to keep everyone cool for the day.

Andreas looked at his friend who had a bright smile on his face. He found it a bit disturbing since he was rejected by Rini just last night. What could he be smiling for? Out of curiosity, he finally asked, "Why are you so happy?"

Kenzo furrowed his brows in confusion. "Why shouldn't I be?" he asked, "The weather is nice today."

"Forgive me, my friend," Andreas says, "But you've liked Rini for so long, have you not? Why do you appear so happy?"

Kenzo smiled, explaining, "I should be happy that she rejected me. Princess Haze was right, anyway. I shouldn't be a fool for a person who doesn't realize my worth. I deserve better than that. Her rejection was a blessing in disguise."
