Spell Caster

In this world those who can reach extraordinary strength also have a hierarchy among themselves. According to everyone's knowledge in the world the highest level practitioner known to all lifeforms is a legendary Rank six practitioner of the Way of the World who is thought to have perished long ago protecting the world from a great enemy, it is believed he specialized in Spell Casting. In other words he could display nature's power by means of using Spells.

Others follow other ways like the High Elder and Zane from the academy, they directly cut down and use natural resources found in nature and create various herbs, powders or concoctions and poisons to either heal or fight their enemies. There is also people like the Sanctum guardian Ja IL who, their speciality is almost the same as Spell Casters as they use inscriptions and arrays to lay down their Talismans and Enchantments to display certain characteristics observed in nature,but it is not the same since they cannot used those inscriptions and arrays to directly attack or defend but can imbue them in other objects or themselves to display great power and lastly those from the Shadow Corp, they use a different kind of practice, they worship and sacrifice, it is believed that if one prays and worships to one certain element in nature they can offer a sacrifice to that element and get extraordinary strength from it, those in the academy worship the element of darkness and concealment, the said phenomenon in the world that displays those two characteristics is the Shadow element, shadows in nature shroud the world in darkness and conceal some things from ones vision, many people in the academy choose this path since it is easier to ascend the ranks of being a practitioner.

A few years ago a boy was found out to have had a rare awakening of being a Spell Caster like the legendary Rank six practitioner who is believed to be the only person in the world to reach this level. The academy kept this a secret from the other neighboring institutions and clans in the area as they may have suffered a siege from the other regions if they found out they had a rare Spell Caster in their younger generation who if is allowed to develop may cause an infringement on their benefits. Such a person cannot exist he has to be killed to protect their benefits,to avoid this the academy declared the boy as to have had an awakening the same as those from the Healing Corp so the boy was handed over to the High Elder as she had the greatest seniority in the academy to secretly guide him into being a high level Spell Caster and elevate the status of the academy to a new level.

This boy's name was Zakia, everything went smoothly but not long ago he changed, he used one of his spells to dissipate the souls of numerous fellow disciples of his during a training spar and for this mistake he was then taken down by the High Elder as she had thought that he had been possessed by a hidden entity and gave him a cleansing to get him back to his original state and ensure that he doesn't practice again as it was deemed too dangerous to nature a disciple who practices a profession that they as the higher ups of the academy are not too familiar with as it may bring unknown danger to the academy and the world at large. This was a decision taken by the High Authority of the academy comprising of the high elders of the three divisions of the academy and the Sultan clan of royalty, of which its clan head has the same status as the High Elders of the academy. These four people decided that they should cripple the boy and try to nurture another Spell Caster which they can control for their own use and this time use even stricter methods to restrain him or her. 

Other people may not know but Zakia is a person who never had free will since his awakening, arrangements to monitor, restrain and control him were placed on him so that he doesn't do something that goes against the will of the high elders, Zakia was always thirsty for freedom and found a way to free himself by going over the bottom line of the elders and killing a large number of his fellow disciples with the soul taker Spell he developed. Due to unknown variations during the use of the spell the soul of a dying man from another world was pulled into his body as he was slumbering to recuperate after fighting his own disciple brothers and sisters and the high elder while being assembled and splattered to cleanse him. 

At a certain point in time before he woke up he found that he had already woken up and was not in control of his own body as another soul, Oliphant was occupying it. He did not even get a chance to try and do something when the High Elder splattered him again along with the soul in control of the body as they slumbered in tandem. Oliphant's soul woke up first and took control of the body for an entire three months whilst being monitored and planning to undergo another awakening to become a practitioner, but as he was planning this, he was attacked and Zakia forcebly took control and killed one of the monitors and gravely injured another. After this Zakia used a spell on his own village to undergo a second awakening using the many souls and fleshly bodies of the villagers and all life forms in the area to invoke a way of the world by devouring multiple life forms and using their essence to derive another Spell Casting body. 

Then one may ask themselves how did he kill the rank 2 monitors that were after his things as he had underwent awakening afterwards? 

While Zakia was at the academy he found that he could use Spells to display abilities like those who practice other ways of the world! Like enchantment and talisman making. 

In other words this is the same as Zakia learning all the ways of the world known at this point in time at the same time which is unheard of. What he did was, if his body was in danger of self harm or external harm an enchantment that displays the properties of the soul taker Spell is activated to protect him from hurting himself or being hurt by others, this was a form of protection for himself for if the high elders one day wanted to rid themselves of him he would be able to protect himself and maybe buy a little time for an escape, but the world worked in mysterious ways that very same Spell helped him push aside Oliphant for a while who had actually had thoughts of self harm which is against Zakia's wishes thus him losing control of the body.

Zakia was already far away from the academy and his desolate village where the three men Zane, Ja IL and Saka were at, he was headed to one of the lands in this world were creatures who looked like what Oliphant would call mermaids or sirens if he was awake resided, Valley of Sirens. Here he planned to seclude himself and rid himself of Oliphant's soul in his body and rise up the ranks and deal with those who treated him like their own property to use and control for their own prosperity.
