Rosetta couldn't help but stare at Ambrose as he was driving. She wondered why he had acted that way, was he also unhappy about their marriage?

~Rosetta~

Was he also unhappy about our marriage? Maybe he is, I do remember seeing a faint glow of red in his eyes, but, maybe he was wearing contact lenses, right?

"If you have any questions, you might as well ask me instead of staring" Ambrose said, he wasn't looking at her, but he knew she was looking at him.

"Umm...who exactly are you?" Rosetta asked

"This is not the right time to answer that question" Ambrose said, taking a deep breath and adjusting on his seat

"Oh...um...so... when is the right time?" Rosetta asked

"Is that the only question that you have?" Ambrose asked, ignoring her previous question

"Oh...well...no" She replied

"Go on" He said nonchalantly

"Wh-what's your name?" She asked

"Didn't you hear me say it at the wedding ceremony?" He asked, getting annoyed, his eyes already getting visibly red

"Oh..i- I was not really um... Paying attention so I couldn't um...grasp anything...i- I am uhm.. I'm sorry" Rosetta stammered, getting scared

Ambrose smirked, then looked at Rosetta for a split second before he averted his gaze back to the road

"I'm Ambrose, so I'll be known as Ambrose by you and nothing else" He said

"Can- can't I at least call you my husb-" Rosetta started but she could not finish her sentence as a death stare from Ambrose shut her up

"I don't like stubborn people, so for us to live in harmony, you have to listen to me without complaint" Ambrose said, without looking at her

Usually, she would object to anyone who said this to her, but she couldn't even open her mouth as she just stared at this strange man

"Why-wh- Why should I?" She asked and immediately regretted saying that because he looked at her when she did but, surprisingly, there weren't any of emotions in his eyes, all she saw was... nothing.

"You ask too many questions" Ambrose said, still without an expression

"Oh, I just wanted to uhm, know more about you since we- we are married" Rosetta replied

"Married" Ambrose repeated, not really meaning anything by repeating it

"Yes, so...can we know each other a bit better?" Rosetta asked, feeling a bit nervous

"Ask me whatever you want" Ambrose said, without tearing his gaze off of the road

"Apart from who I am" He added which caused Rosetta to look at him in shock

she wanted to ask him why he didn't want to tell her about himself but she refrained from doing so, so as not to cause any trouble for himself

"You-you don't seem to b-be happy about this" Rosetta said, studying his face carefully

"About what?" He asked

"About our wedding" Rosetta replied

"We're here" Ambrose said, stopping in front of a building that looked more like a mansion instead of a house

"This is where you live?" Rosetta asked with her eyes wide and mouth open in shock.

Ambrose didn't answer her though, he just walked into the house without turning back to look at her

When Rosetta got into the house, her and eyes got widened the more

"Woahhh! you're super rich" Rosetta said, twirling around and touching everything she could set her eyes on

"Easy there girl, you would not want to break anything and anger Ambrose" Lucas sat, coming in

"You must be his wife" Lucas said, taking a glance at Ambrose to see his reaction when he said the word 'wife', but he felt disappointed when Ambrose showed no reaction to his statement

"Lucas, take her to the guest room" Ambrose said and without waiting for Lucas's reply, he started making his way up to the stairs

"Guest room? shouldn't she sleep with you in your room?" Lucas said, raising his eyebrows with an annoying smile

Ambrose stopped at first, then he continued walking as though he hadn't heard anything

"Still the same Ol' Ambrose, nothing ever seems to make him budge" Lucas said

Then he turned to Rosetta, "Little girl, I advise you to corporate with Ambrose unless you're asking for trouble" Lucas said

"I'm not little" Rosetta said, folding her arms and glaring up at him

"Whatever, let's go" He said, grabbing her arms and leading her to her room

Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Ross arrived home in joy, smiling and grinning from ear to ear as they carefully took the bags of money and brought them into their house, little by little, one by one, so as not to risk losing even one dollar

When they were done, Mrs Ross rushed into their room so she could start ordering for everything she had always wanted to buy but never had enough money to. Then suddenly, she heard her husband scream and she immediately rushed to find out what had happened

"The bags! They aren't Complete, one us missing!" He said, already panicking, he was afraid to lose one dollar, talk less of an entire bag!

"Maybe you just forgot where you kept it as usual" Mrs Ross said, not really seeing what was there to be panicked or worried about

"No I didn't" Mr. Ross said firmly and Mrs. Ross finally lost it!

"Look! you better find where you kept that bag because I just ordered a lot of things so this is no joking matter!" She said in anger

Immediately she said that, another bag of money disappeared right in front of their eyes and their eyes widened in shock. They were just speechless, they didn't even know what to do or how to react or even what their first move should be, they were just, numb in the head

"Wh- What just happened?" Mrs. Ross asked, grabbing the collar of her husband

"What is happening?!" She asked, gripping it very tightly

"I don't know! I don't know!" He said, almost screaming in fear

Mrs Ross went on her knees as she looked at the empty spaces where the bags had been minutes ago. She looked at her husband who in turn looked at her and they nodded to each other, knowing what they must do.
