Emerald Ocean

{Announcement} Got a notification about being put in some kinda promising books event or whatever which I guess could be considered feedback so I'ma get to work on this book again... Gotta finish that there last arc... My little Gieco Lizard deserves death!!! --- Inside a garden full of towering trees untold years old that sadly have inferiority complexes caused by the never ending giant tower that supports the sky that the garden sits in front. Upon the branch of one of the smallest trees in the garden, the last of it's kind of the tallest it's breed of tree was ever been able to grow as well as the oldest, sits a beautiful fairy who seems but the size of a squirrel emotionless sipping tea watching the leaves fall off the leaves of the tree as if having already given up on life when suddenly a wind passes by the eternally still garden and everything gently quakes as the infinite number of lines along the towers base lights up gently with a blazing emerald flame that is bordering on black. As if struck by a earth quake the woman falls out of her chair unbearably shaking as her eyes lock upon a thing far away in the infinitely large garden not a plant, not a tree, but the ground itself. A crazy and hopeful fire begins to burn deep within the beautiful fairies eyes as reaches out her hand and with a determined look shatters the very core of her soul sending a piece of herself out into the earth and herself tumbling listlessly into a deep sleep alone on the branch. Hope still burning in her eyes even as they slowly close and a twisted smile upon her lips. Like a bolt of lightning the core of her soul that was a part of her soul but not at the same time takes flight towards the sky circling around the crown of the small tree twice before gently bumping into the already sleeping woman as if in sorrow before flashing away faster then the eye could see reaching a distance so far you wouldn't be able to walk it in a million years even if you could travel at the speed of light and diving into the soil of a solitary mound of dirty diving deeper and deeper it eventually stops and flashes so bright it can even be suttly seen from the garden above as the deep blue light like the ocean fuses into the very core of an single solitary atom inside the soil as if slipping through a crack. Across a vast and unending expanse of sky a brilliant flash of blue light up the very core of a universe before zooming away in the exact instant it appeared as if nothing their ever mattered not the massive throne, the unending number of people fighting for it, nor the ghastly little hut that's door has never opened in all of its existence and that space has warped the top of that no eyes made of flesh has ever seen and no man has ever hoped to enter. One, Ten, A Hundred, A thousand, A Million, A Billion, an untold number more stars pass by as they begin to trail together before the light finally find a crack. Not in space, not in time, not in anything but itself simply existing like it's always existed. The space between filled with nothing. Diving into the crack without even slowly down the blue light seems to fade from existence as if it was never there. Slowly but surely as the blue light fades so does the crack before with it's last peek a suttle flash of Emerald escapes being vanishing from sight. The gentle beam of light flew out never stopping till it struck a nearby planet. As the light was absorbed by that planets inhabitants something... Awoke.

Ch. 98 Time Lost

Watching the little figure of the green lizard bolt off as the people chase and try to kill her it... her companion... Addie feels sad for a moment and looks back and the still sleeping girl in the bed and sighs before she begins to walk away. She feels sad about how this is ending and is worried about both her companions and saviors but she must go... She must go home... taking them with her would only complicate things and endanger them. Beasts and tamers are not welcome in this place bringing them into the castle would only be a death sentence for them. They could never escape the eyes of the nobles there. Even the lowest of stage 1 fighters regardless of if they are a warrior or a mage could easily kill them both let alone the royal guard that consists of hundreds of stage 1 or above guards or the rich nobles who have lived countless years and have deep pockets enough to fund whole armies of their own so having thousands of stage one or above warriors wouldn't be that surprising... Leaving she began to ask around for awhile before she returned to the inn to find the guardsmen who came to investigate the beast seeing a royal guard leading them she approached and removes her mask and hood. Seeing her face the royal guard seems to freeze solid as if time and space itself is choking her beautiful face. Clearly not expecting to see the princess. The girl she was raised to serve by her grandma when her mother left to search for the lost princess. Her mother never returned but she still lives to serve the princess so she would remember her face that their family homes walls are cluttered with portraits of. Seeing the girl who hasn't changed in countless years the poor guard doesn't know how to react as seeing a girl many times older then her who her own mother grew up calling big sister as she served as a maid and guard but now even many years later after her grandma's death and her mother's 49th birthday the princess appeared before her... Like she'd never left and no time had passed... Many thoughts clearly flowing around in her head the two women locked eyes and stared for what felt like years... Then the guardwoman rushed to hug the princess before whispering to hide her face. The other none royal guards watched shocked as this high and mighty royal guard captain hugged a random strange woman on the street like they are long lost sisters.

The royal guardswoman gave some instructions before dragging the now hooded and masked princess into a carriage and leaving the scene the other guards staying behind already been instructed to completely ignore the sleeping girl in the room and to ensure no one else enters that room along with the orders to not hunt the beast. Of course the guards were deeply confused but had no choice but to follow orders.

As the carriage pulled into the family home of the guardswoman a shout sounds out behind them interrupting the young girl and the woman's conversation... Hearing the voice Addie's face clearly becomes complicated as the guardswoman sees that and can sense the guard about to kill the girl she immediately stops them and tells them to ignore the girl as they enter the gate and it closes behind them the guardswoman focuses her senses on the girls face all along wondering who she was to make the always cold princess show such concern and panic...

Addie forced a smile upon her face once the duo had entered into a room in the large barracks like structure at the edge of the royal castle. The Roseline Family household hadn't changed much since she had last been there. Addie couldn't help but ask about the woman who was basically a half of mother to her and the mother of the guardwoman who has already declared her identity and relations. Annabell Roseline. The daughter of Alex and grand daughter of Rose. The Roseline Family has been around as long as the empire and the kingdom that made it they were Addie's families personal guards. As close as family yet never joined by blood. Always raised as brothers and sisters as each generation of the two families guard and watched over each other along gender lines. Addie has never even met a single male of the Roseline Family. However she knows that Annabell's grandfather, the guardian and sworn brother of Addie's father the once emperor who died in her absence. That man now serves as the chancellor of the empire acting in the royal families sted as they are all missing or dead. In fact Addie is the only member of her family that isn't known to be dead... The chancellor swore to protect the throne for her until her body is found or she returns when the noble families decided they would steal the throne in the royal families abscense he held them off. As the strongest mage the kingdom has ever known he was once a stage 5 mage none could ever fight him even in his old age. Addie had never even came close as her peak was once stage one but after her rebirth she lost a stage. As for how her father died or why she left without her personal guard or maid? Even she doesn't remember... Not to mention everyone who does remember is either long dead or missing... Thinking of the pretty face of her maid and sworn sister Addie's finger dug into the leather arms of the chair she sits in and her eyes began to moisten as she stares at the instrument she's never put down and her gums begin to hurt from how hard she's gritting her teeth...

Looking to the girl who had yet to even be born when she left she can't help but see the little 8 year old girl in this 20something year old woman... She looks a bit like her mother... Reaching out for a photo on the table she sees the woman that the young girl she once called her little sister grew up to be and the sorrow and longing in her eyes and the tears finally fall. All the while Annabell just watched silently to the side...
