{Announcement} Got a notification about being put in some kinda promising books event or whatever which I guess could be considered feedback so I'ma get to work on this book again... Gotta finish that there last arc... My little Gieco Lizard deserves death!!! --- Inside a garden full of towering trees untold years old that sadly have inferiority complexes caused by the never ending giant tower that supports the sky that the garden sits in front. Upon the branch of one of the smallest trees in the garden, the last of it's kind of the tallest it's breed of tree was ever been able to grow as well as the oldest, sits a beautiful fairy who seems but the size of a squirrel emotionless sipping tea watching the leaves fall off the leaves of the tree as if having already given up on life when suddenly a wind passes by the eternally still garden and everything gently quakes as the infinite number of lines along the towers base lights up gently with a blazing emerald flame that is bordering on black. As if struck by a earth quake the woman falls out of her chair unbearably shaking as her eyes lock upon a thing far away in the infinitely large garden not a plant, not a tree, but the ground itself. A crazy and hopeful fire begins to burn deep within the beautiful fairies eyes as reaches out her hand and with a determined look shatters the very core of her soul sending a piece of herself out into the earth and herself tumbling listlessly into a deep sleep alone on the branch. Hope still burning in her eyes even as they slowly close and a twisted smile upon her lips. Like a bolt of lightning the core of her soul that was a part of her soul but not at the same time takes flight towards the sky circling around the crown of the small tree twice before gently bumping into the already sleeping woman as if in sorrow before flashing away faster then the eye could see reaching a distance so far you wouldn't be able to walk it in a million years even if you could travel at the speed of light and diving into the soil of a solitary mound of dirty diving deeper and deeper it eventually stops and flashes so bright it can even be suttly seen from the garden above as the deep blue light like the ocean fuses into the very core of an single solitary atom inside the soil as if slipping through a crack. Across a vast and unending expanse of sky a brilliant flash of blue light up the very core of a universe before zooming away in the exact instant it appeared as if nothing their ever mattered not the massive throne, the unending number of people fighting for it, nor the ghastly little hut that's door has never opened in all of its existence and that space has warped the top of that no eyes made of flesh has ever seen and no man has ever hoped to enter. One, Ten, A Hundred, A thousand, A Million, A Billion, an untold number more stars pass by as they begin to trail together before the light finally find a crack. Not in space, not in time, not in anything but itself simply existing like it's always existed. The space between filled with nothing. Diving into the crack without even slowly down the blue light seems to fade from existence as if it was never there. Slowly but surely as the blue light fades so does the crack before with it's last peek a suttle flash of Emerald escapes being vanishing from sight. The gentle beam of light flew out never stopping till it struck a nearby planet. As the light was absorbed by that planets inhabitants something... Awoke.

Ch. 97 Sewers

Yawning I can't help but think back to the battles before... That happened... When I used my beserk skill and went to grab her with a giant hand of mist Addie struck a cord on her instrument yet again but it sliced her finger open and the world went silent. With a massive thud the vibrations from the cord were obliterated by my claw but I couldn't grab her and she got slammed through the door to the room falling into the hallway and at that time some people were in the hallway and upon seeing Addie get through against the wall by my skill they all rushed to help and I had no choice but to escape in the scuffle I had managed to get outside the window as I was being chased I rushed into a nearby alley and found a sewer drain. Gross... Everything is so gross down here!!! I'ma spank that girl I swear. It's all her fault why'd she have to run off in the middle of the night and now my little Ellie is probably all alone cause clearly that girl doesn't plan to stay... Ellie at least deserved a goodbye... Sighing I look at the corpse before me... Giant rat... Well in my perspective it's giant... It's actually not that big only about the size of an adult foot... Which is huge but reasonably so... These little buggers are everywhere down here after jumping down here I had to rush about for so long as the little fuckers swarmed the shit out of me. I killed a bunch of them but they just kept coming. Eventually I escaped the huge crowd but there still existed a ton of rats everywhere I went... Not to mention the goop... No not shit sludge or piss or anything like that... I'd call them living slime but no it's more like moss? Or mold... sentient blobs of mold... The mold is super difficult to kill as they don't have any weak points... They are just a blob of mold... If there are actual slimes as in a creature of sentient slime rolling about down in these sewers? I don't know... But if they do exist I'm sure they are slightly less annoying to kill then these fucking mold blobs...

The rats are just a zerg of endless enemies which is less annoying. Luckily I managed to clear out a small part of the sewers to rest... As for the time? No clue... The mold has the sense to avoid the tunnel with mist in it for whatever reason but the rats still wander in from time to time. I've been focusing on recovering my health since those rats and nosy humans had to get in my way. As for what's going on with Ellie? I'd be worried if I couldn't feel her still with the mist inside and around her body. Hell even Addie is still in my view she's sitting in the city center... I assume a castle talking with someone. Ellie is apparently getting tortured... Or at least that's what it kind of looks like but with how little damage the thing that keeps hitting her is doing and the fact she's constantly fighting back I don't interfere... While I can still control the mist cause they are still close by I can only do so very limitedly. So I figure I'll wait till theres an emergency. As they both appear to be somewhat busy I figure I'll just meditate down here for awhile before Ellie comes back to the hotel so I can sneak back into her backpack. Closing my eyes I begin to meditate waiting for my mount to swing back around.

--- Two days later. ---

Sighing I stuff down my feelings of abandonment as I feel that Ellie is still over there staying in another building occasionally off to be tortured. Guess I should just focus on meditating and maybe fill these sewers up with mist to get rid of these pests... So gross... Luckily I can tune out the gross shit I have to feel to see... While I'm feeling through mist the thing I'm feeling is clear to me but it's smell, sight, or sounds are entirely unknown so despite knowing when I've stepped in shit I can find solace in the fact it's not my shoes but someone else's. Thinking about the fact that I'd have to eat this mist if I brought it back I decide to clean the area around me entirely and block off the passages all around... Ensuring they still flow but they flow elsewhere don't need any plumbers coming down and here and trying to hop on my head I might be a lizard but I'm not nearly large enough and I'm lacking a spiky shell... Also... I need a princess... While inside that limited clean area I would consume a large quantity of my mist and send out just a sliver of it everytime slowly but surely the sewers became filled with my mist all along. Rats began to fall and the mold began to retreat but the mist kept coming.

--- 5 Days Later ---

It's been a week now since I've ventured out to become the king of the sewers or whatever happened... Ellie's torture quickly began to look more like training as she's hit less... As for Addie? She spends most her time in a large hall talking to old men... One specific old man gives me the creeps and I avoid bringing my mist out at all near him to investigate the room... I swear that dude can smell me... He either doesn't care or Addie doesn't care I don't know I am sure that she has spotted the small quantity of mist still stuck to her whenever she bathes as whatever isn't inside her stays along the waters surface as it can't go under water... Yet she hasn't done much about it. I seldom do any investigating with my mist unless the two are asleep. One time during Ellie's training I stretched out my mist to see who was training her and I saw a female ogre and a lady that looks like a spider in human form. Small sharp and deadly she moved around swiftly. The two seemed to panick when they saw my mist for the first time but Ellie just cried and told them it was ok... I guess she was worried about me. As the two women calm down the spider seems to attempt to investigate me while the Ogre just stops hitting the mist... before returning to lifting a large barbell covered in weights... Curious I form a couple claws around the barbell and try to lift it but nothing... So I ignore the huge lady... That's clearly far to much weight... She's a fucking hulk... As for the spider lady she's already attempted to taste my mist by this point and I moved all my mist back to Ellie in retreat as Ellie started speaking to them I'd assume explaining the mist or maybe saying don't eat it... I don't know... As Ellie is my oldest companion her body is filled with by far the most mist so even if I used up all the mist clinging to her skin or hair I'd still likely have a lot of mist out there...
