{Announcement} Got a notification about being put in some kinda promising books event or whatever which I guess could be considered feedback so I'ma get to work on this book again... Gotta finish that there last arc... My little Gieco Lizard deserves death!!! --- Inside a garden full of towering trees untold years old that sadly have inferiority complexes caused by the never ending giant tower that supports the sky that the garden sits in front. Upon the branch of one of the smallest trees in the garden, the last of it's kind of the tallest it's breed of tree was ever been able to grow as well as the oldest, sits a beautiful fairy who seems but the size of a squirrel emotionless sipping tea watching the leaves fall off the leaves of the tree as if having already given up on life when suddenly a wind passes by the eternally still garden and everything gently quakes as the infinite number of lines along the towers base lights up gently with a blazing emerald flame that is bordering on black. As if struck by a earth quake the woman falls out of her chair unbearably shaking as her eyes lock upon a thing far away in the infinitely large garden not a plant, not a tree, but the ground itself. A crazy and hopeful fire begins to burn deep within the beautiful fairies eyes as reaches out her hand and with a determined look shatters the very core of her soul sending a piece of herself out into the earth and herself tumbling listlessly into a deep sleep alone on the branch. Hope still burning in her eyes even as they slowly close and a twisted smile upon her lips. Like a bolt of lightning the core of her soul that was a part of her soul but not at the same time takes flight towards the sky circling around the crown of the small tree twice before gently bumping into the already sleeping woman as if in sorrow before flashing away faster then the eye could see reaching a distance so far you wouldn't be able to walk it in a million years even if you could travel at the speed of light and diving into the soil of a solitary mound of dirty diving deeper and deeper it eventually stops and flashes so bright it can even be suttly seen from the garden above as the deep blue light like the ocean fuses into the very core of an single solitary atom inside the soil as if slipping through a crack. Across a vast and unending expanse of sky a brilliant flash of blue light up the very core of a universe before zooming away in the exact instant it appeared as if nothing their ever mattered not the massive throne, the unending number of people fighting for it, nor the ghastly little hut that's door has never opened in all of its existence and that space has warped the top of that no eyes made of flesh has ever seen and no man has ever hoped to enter. One, Ten, A Hundred, A thousand, A Million, A Billion, an untold number more stars pass by as they begin to trail together before the light finally find a crack. Not in space, not in time, not in anything but itself simply existing like it's always existed. The space between filled with nothing. Diving into the crack without even slowly down the blue light seems to fade from existence as if it was never there. Slowly but surely as the blue light fades so does the crack before with it's last peek a suttle flash of Emerald escapes being vanishing from sight. The gentle beam of light flew out never stopping till it struck a nearby planet. As the light was absorbed by that planets inhabitants something... Awoke.

Ch. 76 Hunting

Finding an inn to sleep in Ellie gave over some money that Nathon had given her seeing as no one else had money due to obvious reasons. Getting a room easily Ellie smiles as she gets some cooked food with vegetables and fruit rather then her usual grilled meat. Happily eating in her room entirely forgetting about telling the inn keeper that she would likely have visitors. After her meal we both heard a frantic knock on the door as the inn keeper opened it immediately after without concern for whether the guest was decent. Seeing Ellie sitting on the bed the inn keeper stepped to the side of the doorway and a large man in a long beautiful cloak walked in. The inn keeper stood up and spoke "Lord will that be all do you need anything else?" In a deep aged voice the man shook his head "No." the inn keeper having done all he could walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. The cloaked man turned to Ellie sitting happily on her bed eating a fruit. "Hello traveler from afar I hear that the mist that enveloped my territory is due to a beast that you hunt. Please share more information on the matter as many citizens of the fort are scared and on edge along with my guards."

Hearing her words Ellie spoke up. "It's nothing to bad nor to good. The mist may cause people to experience hallucinations however it may also heal the injured. It's very unlikely for it to attack anyone unless they do something very bad." Hearing her comments and young voice the lords face scrunched up a bit before nodding "What kind of hallucinations?" with an awkward expression that is totally wasted as her face is entirely covered by my mist underneath her hood she spoke up. "Anything you can think is possible to craft out of mist. It'll be mostly figures in the distance though. It won't be dangerous or very realistic as the beast isn't even doing it on purpose it just happens when others see through the mist naturally like it was the person who is experiencing the hallucination who made it."

Nodding the lord seemed to have removed his worries. "So how long till you can find and remove the beast and will any people be endanger when you are catching it?" Ellie shook her head. "Like I said before it only attacks bad people so don't do bad things inside the mist and your perfectly safe." Nodding the lord turned to leave but stopped staring at the mist as a smile forms on his face and a tear drops from his eye before turning and leaving. Weird that a lord of a territory had enough time to question a traveler himself about something like mist. Hmm... A short while after the lord left a knock at the door came. Ellie looked down at her chest, or me which ever for confirmation and I nodded my head. Seeing that she nodded and was about to stand up when I opened the door with a cloud claw and the innkeeper walked in followed by two women and a man pushing in a few wheeled tables covered in food the inn keeper walked up to Ellie and reached out his hands to hand back Ellies money as the men set up the food in front of the bed. "Uh what's going on?" Hearing Ellies question the inn keeper responded. "The lord paid for your room and some more food for you. As a thank you for your information and aid in removing a danger from his territory." Ellie frowned at the danger part but still took the money and nodded. After giving the money over the inn keeper bowed slightly then he left followed by the three people then the man at the end closed the door behind him.

Seeing the door closed Ellie hopped up happily and began scavenging the food tables. Whilst I begin to scout out the territory through my mist. Quickly finding that the man who just left us has been stopped by a similar looking man as they discuss something. I can feel them through my mist but no hear so no clue what they are saying. After a few minutes the two have walked back towards the large manor as they entered the lord seemed to be very concerned about the other man as he pat his shoulder and stared him in the eyes before walking off and joining a group of guards and getting on a horse and riding off with them quickly leaving the town. Seeing them leave I made my mist follow along as I moved my mist in the jar into an arrow pointed at the lords direction. I can feel the mist in the jar immediately began to move along with the jar as is moved towards the direction the arrow pointed.

Forming a large five by five flat surface on the ground out of clouds I form a little map of the entire city and it's surroundings and a little orb of the lord and his guards inside the jar with that mist. Ellie sits back down on her bed while happily eating seeing as her job was already done. She only really had to give me cover and keep the people relatively calm as I spread my mist. After the lord left the other man quickly calls out to some other men who immediately rush over and replace the guards at the entrance to the fort. While another man runs into the manor and starts escorting staff out. Seeing the man that looked like the lord going into the mansion I hesitate but decide not to follow him in with mist but I do leave some mist inside her cloths before he rushes inside.

A couple hours later, I form a bunch of claws around the lord and attack his escort as the other group charges in. I just barely stopped the man who was about to shoot his bow at the lord as the escorts begin to get sluggish for a few seconds as the cloud claws steal all of their weapons and Anna followed by her bodyguard and the hooded figure I recognize as Addie rush up as Anna begins to talk to her father who has his sword out and is deeply confused. After Anna spoke for awhile and Nathon has tied up all the escort who were afraid to fight back bare handed and the lord walks up to one of them as he begins to violently question them. Anna walked up to him in the middle of it and grabbed his shoulder said something then the lord nodded and turned around and the others stole a few of the escorts horses before making the others all run back home and riding alongside the lord leaving the traitors behind. I can feel the lord questioning Addie more then others but not feeling Addie mask move at all and Anna talking I know she didn't speak at all. The lord nodded when he heard whatever his daughter said then Addie threw the jar of mist onto the ground. The agreed upon signal and I form a cloud path for them as they rush back. It takes only a few minutes of rushing with the aid of my cloud path half the way to get back to fort.

As they get close I form cloud claws just behind the guards and deftly steal their weapons before they can respond placing them at the guards necks and waiting soon the lord coming into view as the guards shudder they immediately begin to scream stuff but the lord ignores them as passes by. After rushing back towards the manor I feel the lord pass through into the manor before I begin to pull all my mist back. Deactivating all the condensed stuff but leaving the thin layer of mist inside the city just encase Anna and Nathon stood outside the gates of the manor standing around in concern protected by guardsmen who I assume were loyal to the lord. Shortly after that incident I felt a long sharp piece of metal that I assume to be a sword pass through the mist I left in who I assume was the lords brothers cloths. Then I feel that mist rushing about before he escapes the manor. A bloody knife in hand he ran around the manor and entered a secret passage. Seeing as no one else seemed to know the brother of the lord had run off bleeding I form a cloud claw real quick to poke Anna's shoulder and pat her butt telling her to go in. She was startled at first but quickly figured out what I meant as she signaled for the guards to enter as she rushed forward. The guards seemed confused at first but followed along. After they had all escaped out of sight into the manor I look over at Ellie who has passed out and yawn as I feel Addie stop in front of the door and her hand go up to knock but I prevent her by opening the door before she gets the chance opening it. Seeing the trail of clouds in the room Addie nodded and walked over seeing Ellie passed out Addie said something that I could in no way understand before laying down on the bed next to her and staring up at the ceiling. She says a lot more of words I don't understand clearly trying to have a conversation with either me or no one but for whatever reason I don't understand a word of it.
