Emerald Ocean

{Announcement} Got a notification about being put in some kinda promising books event or whatever which I guess could be considered feedback so I'ma get to work on this book again... Gotta finish that there last arc... My little Gieco Lizard deserves death!!! --- Inside a garden full of towering trees untold years old that sadly have inferiority complexes caused by the never ending giant tower that supports the sky that the garden sits in front. Upon the branch of one of the smallest trees in the garden, the last of it's kind of the tallest it's breed of tree was ever been able to grow as well as the oldest, sits a beautiful fairy who seems but the size of a squirrel emotionless sipping tea watching the leaves fall off the leaves of the tree as if having already given up on life when suddenly a wind passes by the eternally still garden and everything gently quakes as the infinite number of lines along the towers base lights up gently with a blazing emerald flame that is bordering on black. As if struck by a earth quake the woman falls out of her chair unbearably shaking as her eyes lock upon a thing far away in the infinitely large garden not a plant, not a tree, but the ground itself. A crazy and hopeful fire begins to burn deep within the beautiful fairies eyes as reaches out her hand and with a determined look shatters the very core of her soul sending a piece of herself out into the earth and herself tumbling listlessly into a deep sleep alone on the branch. Hope still burning in her eyes even as they slowly close and a twisted smile upon her lips. Like a bolt of lightning the core of her soul that was a part of her soul but not at the same time takes flight towards the sky circling around the crown of the small tree twice before gently bumping into the already sleeping woman as if in sorrow before flashing away faster then the eye could see reaching a distance so far you wouldn't be able to walk it in a million years even if you could travel at the speed of light and diving into the soil of a solitary mound of dirty diving deeper and deeper it eventually stops and flashes so bright it can even be suttly seen from the garden above as the deep blue light like the ocean fuses into the very core of an single solitary atom inside the soil as if slipping through a crack. Across a vast and unending expanse of sky a brilliant flash of blue light up the very core of a universe before zooming away in the exact instant it appeared as if nothing their ever mattered not the massive throne, the unending number of people fighting for it, nor the ghastly little hut that's door has never opened in all of its existence and that space has warped the top of that no eyes made of flesh has ever seen and no man has ever hoped to enter. One, Ten, A Hundred, A thousand, A Million, A Billion, an untold number more stars pass by as they begin to trail together before the light finally find a crack. Not in space, not in time, not in anything but itself simply existing like it's always existed. The space between filled with nothing. Diving into the crack without even slowly down the blue light seems to fade from existence as if it was never there. Slowly but surely as the blue light fades so does the crack before with it's last peek a suttle flash of Emerald escapes being vanishing from sight. The gentle beam of light flew out never stopping till it struck a nearby planet. As the light was absorbed by that planets inhabitants something... Awoke.

Ch. 71 Pirates Three

With a night of rowing behind my back I can't believe how wide this river is. Rowing along I have lost track of how far we have gone but I know which direction we are going as I have always kept the flow of the river towards my left. Occasionally I see little creatures darting around like shadows darting across the clear waters but they always disappear. Due to the water and the night sky I can't see what they are but I assume they are probably not the piranha like fish as the shadows are solitary unlike those other fish. Also they haven't tried to bite the bottom of our boat. Which the piranhas have proven they will bite anything that moves under the water. Luckily we haven't seen any of them since the storm. After the entire night of rowing goes by I see Ellie crawling out of the sleeping bag followed by an upset looking Addie... Ah did the pervert do it again? Ellies embarrassed face made me laugh a little inside. Seeing my knowing stare Ellie looked out along the water not looking me in the eyes. Addie sat down next to me and gave me a weird look.. Ok that's new.

"So now everyone's groped me when do I get to start groping others?" What? When did I grope anyone? Seeing my confused face Addie laughed. "Don't think I didn't know it was you jumping around on my ass last night." Wow... One... weird phrasing. Two this is a twelve year old girl... Stop cursing. Three does she want to get us back or fulfill some perverted desire? Are all these people I meet perverts? Eh whatever. I look away from the girl as I stare out at the river. Ellie having calmed down decided to change the topic. "Eh we should have brought a fishing pole." Huh... didn't think of that. Hearing a laugh we both look over towards Addie who has a proud smile... Oh maybe she has a fishing pole. "Who needs a fishing pole I'll just get the fish to come to us." Oh... that's a bad idea the fish down there aren't all safe... Also... Why does she seem like she's planning to lure them out with her body... She can't possible serve as bait can she? "How are you gonna do that?" Ellie looked at Addie asking the question I wanted the answer to... Good mount speaking my mind like a pro... Except you didn't imply she was a pervert and planned to seduce the fish. So... I think you are not as smart as me... Clearly she's both.

"Oh it's simple." Addie grew a proud smile as she crawled over and grabbed the case she had sat down last night while shaking her ass intentionally or unintentionally in the air... Definitely a pervert... What's up with that pose? I mean we did hear she was violated in that ballad's texts but for how long exactly? Hmm... Also how long was she a ghost for? I wonder how old this little girl actually is... Maybe it's more creepy that she wants to grope us... I probably can't be included... My age is questionable. I don't remember how much time passed during my tree life but they were rats after all... I couldn't entirely differentiate between them could have just been similar rats over the course of generations for all I know... I could be anywhere between a teenager and a millions of years old. Setting aside the age of my actual soul. Not to mention I am like a week old right now? Anyways while questioning my age Addie has pulled out her instrument and began to play. Almost immediately a bunch of fish came swimming in droves towards our boat before floating to the surface and falling asleep... Oh wow... She lured them in and finished them of without touching them... Such a pro. "Wow... sorry Addie but that's a tad useless now that I think about it as we can't start a fire to cook the fish." Grabbing a few small fish and throwing them into the boat Ellie points this out suddenly. While I roll my eyes at this weird comedy duo as I never once stopped rowing the boat. Suddenly something interesting caught my eye... Boat? A long boat with sails about three times the size of our own appears in my mist in the distance scouting for land. As I investigate the boat I find that it's entirely full of pig-like men. No not perverts and rapists but literal pig men... Weird... Monsters? Are they friendly...

Jumping over towards Ellie I slap her in the face with my wing to get her attention from the pointless fish and then make a small cloud before showing her the image of a pig-man in the cloud before writing kill or not kill in the clouds. Seeing it she freezes and looks curious at the pig-like face. Seeing the cloud from the other side and how no one is paying attention to her Addie gets upset and storms around to question us but is stopped by the image in the clouds. "You can make figures out of clouds? That's cool but you really should pick better then to show then those pigs." Hearing her Ellie claps and turns to her. "You know what those things are?" With a frown Addie nods and points at the image. "They are commonly called raiders. Tribes of them exist everywhere and they commonly rape and murder everything human or beast alike." Hearing this I nod before clearing up the clouds and begin wrapping the distant ship in mist as I start pumping their weird pig heads full of mist and killing them one by one.

"Tribal Orc Pirate level 8 slain exp 100"

With the last notification of the strongest orc they have all fallen. But I can't help but wonder why they are all tribal orcs. What's the distinction for? Are there smart orcs? Hmm... Well whatever. Quickly clearing out the orc corpses as we sail along. As we reach the ship both girls look at it timidly "Lets go around." Hearing Ellie, Addie nods "Yeah I don't understand how you two managed to survive encountering that ghost ship let alone a new ship and that's an raider flag." Hmm so she only knows the term raider... Hmm well whatever. As we get close both girls give me a weird look before both steal the oars from my cloud claws and begin rowing in a different way... Annoyed at the insubordination I give an inward sigh before creating a cloud to depict the scene of me wiping out all the orcs on the ship. The girls both pause as they see all the orcs scream run about looking for an enemy before falling over dead then the ghost like claws that are obviously the best depicted thing in the image as that's exactly what they look like and are made of normally. Looking curious at me then with a bit of fear at the cloud claws they both back away a little fearfully from my claws as they can't understand how those orcs in the image died. "Ok we can go to the ship." Nodding Addie turned to me "Yeah just tell your friendly floating claw friends not to hurt us k." Does she think they are separate people?

Looking over at the claws that were rowing I eat them then make new ones from some mist before her eyes then make cloud text before Ellie as she reads it out loud seeing as it's not for her. "They aren't my friends but my mist." With a frown Addie looks at the text "What language is that?" Ellie looks at me as well curiously as I eat the letters and shrug. Then write out something new which Ellie reads. "English."

Addie's frown became outright confusion. "Never heard of it." Nodding Ellie commented "Yeah I have no clue what it's about either I only understand because of our weirdly strong binding." Addie looked at Ellie in surprise. "Binding... are you a tamer? I heard the tamers all abandoned society and left to live with their beasts in the forest centuries ago followed closely by the slayers who sought to ensure that the tamers didn't mix bread" With a frown Ellie shook her head. "No, I'm not a tamer but my father was. I have a binding with this little one but I never got to earn my class before..." Seeing Ellies face become full of sorrow Addie pats her shoulder with care, but it just looks dumb from third perspective as the little girl is way to short so she's on her tippy toes and stretched her arm all the way to barely place his three longest fingers on her chest just below the shoulder. Ellie looked down at Addie and suddenly laughed. The caring face of Addie's suddenly became anger "What's so funny?" waving her hands Ellie retorts immediately. "Nothing, my home no longer exists. The tamers are all dead or missing I left the ruins of home following the lead of this little guy." Looking at me Addie immediately asks "Why follow your pet?" Bitch... I'm not a pet don't call me that... Feeling my rage and seeing me standing up and staring at her Ellie immediately interrupts afraid I might actually attack the girl. "He's not a pet... also he seems to hate being called that. Tamers never kept pets. We had beast companions we lived our whole lives with. That's why the slayers were so afraid we may actually breed with them. It was a real thing that some tamers attempted in the past." Addie frowned as her mouth drooled a little and her eyes went glazed over for a second before shaking herself free from what I can only assume is a very perverted thought... Sigh... I need to find more regular people. Nodding Addie then asked again. "So why did you follow him?" Frowning and looking at me Ellie stopped to think then like a struggling scientist who suddenly found the solution to decades of work her face brightened up and she shouted a bit to loudly. "Cause he led."

Many face palms later I had successfully convinced both the lady to climb onto the sail boat. Successfully becoming a pirate I immediately tear down the sail and put up my joke jolly roger as I move around the sails whilst steering with my ghost claws and creating a mist cover to act as the artificial winds I speed on towards the direction we had always been sailing before... No longer need to row... That was getting boring. Sadly this takes a lot more effort... After tying down all the crude ropes properly I lead my claws in cleaning all the gross shit left behind by the previous passengers as the two girls look about in mostly disgust at the gross ship finding some dead bodies clearly pumped full of thick white stuff they avoided those bodies immediately and stayed out of the rooms from then on. Before long I had managed to dump all the corpses orc or otherwise off the side. Noting that some of them were human and a few other races I don't recognize even one mermaid looking chick sadly unlike fish this mermaid had female genitals of a mammal rather then a cloaca so she joined the prey of these gross creatures. After getting a bucket and properly cleaning out all the rooms with sea water I meet up with the two girls who are camping out by the steering wheel in the sleeping bag... Well I guess that's a choice.
