The Prodigy

Nelson passed Elysse's exam results to the reception. Without suspense, the receptionist is so shocked that she almost slammed the paper into her face.

"Welcome to Berdan Academy, Miss Prodigy!"

The receptionist finally recovered as she even saw some excess info such as how many tests Elysse took. It was scary for the receptionist. This girl might be comparable to those Super AIs out there.

With how loud her voice was, everyone stopped and looked at Elysse with baffled eyes. Isn't she a senior? Why does it seem like this is her entrance exam?

The crowd sighed in relief. Good thing they respected her as a senior just before she got her exam. It's undoubtedly a good start.

"Here is your student ID. As for your room in the dormitory, show your student ID to the dorm's reception and you'll have your room allocated"

The receptionist flashed a bright smile to Elysse before snorting at Nelson. She can't believe that this student dares to call a prodigy as 'his' servant. She's already itching to call the Student Offense Department. She'll definitely get this guy kicked out of the academy.

Nelson and Elysse walked out of the building in a haste. All of the people inside are itching to get a photo with Elysse. It's as if they see Elysse as some sort of celebrity.

Nelson sighed countless times on their way to the female's dorm. He tried to wake himself up from this dream 5 times already. He is about to ask a passerby to pinch his thigh before the female's dorm's entrance entered his sight.

Elysse chuckled silently at her master's foolish behavior. She has never seen such a silly side of her master.

Elysse handed her student ID then the receptionist looked at her with shining eyes. She hurriedly tapped her earpiece before she spoke to the other side.

After getting confirmation from the other side, the receptionist handed Elysse a golden translucent card. She passed it over with both hands.

"Enjoy your stay on the 41th floor, Miss Prodigy"

Nelson got another wave of shock at the receptionist's words. He hurriedly looked around to see if he really is in a dream. He then confirmed that this is reality by biting his tongue.

"Ow!"

"Master! Are you okay?"

Elysse supported Nelson from behind as her face flowed with worry and care. Elysse felt that this is the proper expression she should be using at this moment.

"Yeah... I just bit my tongue"

Elysse felt relieved that it's nothing serious such as her master suffering from an illness. She just couldn't help but have doubts as her master look really pale.

"Master, you look pale"

"It's nothing"

Nelson looked at the receptionist before asking with a trembling voice.

"Y–you said, that, that she's staying in F–floor 41?"

The receptionist replied with a nod. She has her doubts as why the prodigy calls him master. She must be threatened by this vile person. Just look at his pitiful acting, he's obviously looking for trouble. I must report this to the Student Offense Department as soon as possible. The receptionist already sentenced Nelson to exile in her mind.

"Miss Prodigy, the academy also decided to give you the latest Kronos 7 phone as a gift. If Miss Prodigy does not want the gift, you can exchange it for 1000 Berdan Dollars"

The receptionist glanced at Nelson's shocked expression. She's now 100% sure that he's taking advantage of Miss Prodigy. The receptionist glanced at Elysse with pity before hardening her resolve to save Miss Prodigy.

Nelson couldn't help but be shocked because the gift is too absurd! A Kronos 7 phone or 1000 Berdan Dollars!

He can live in luxurious peace for 2 weeks with that money. This may seem short but usually the students here save money because it's literally like gold. Even he, saves money to make the 2 weeks into 2 months.

41th Floor + 2 weeks of luxurious peace. Everyone will go crazy if they hear about it. She's just a new student after all. With all of the students going into the academy everyday, none have dared to day dream to live at the 41th floor.

The 41th Floor is also known as the 'Floor of Life'. In the male's dorm you can live like a modern prince, while in the female's dorm you can live like a modern princess! There's also the limit of 1000 Berdan Dollars for 2 months. If you get more than that it'll overflow and be forfeited to the academy as free cash. This is in order to keep rich students from squandering money in the academy.

How absurd is 1000BED(Berdan Dollar) when you live at the Floor of Life? Well it's enough to start your own research facility. The academy will even support you afterwards as long as you show some promise. Even if your research dies midway the academy will never pursue you. This is the academy's way of training students.

As for the Kronos 7 phone, it's the epitome of superphones of today. It can do various stuff such as blood analysis, precise measurements through holograms, it can also scan 3D objects and turn it into a virtual object, and so on.

This phone is really endless in its possibility. This is the phone that startups want as it has everything they need to get started!

The receptionist knew this, and so is the Principal of Berdan Academy. For the principal this is nothing as he usually handle millions of BED every week. It is much more important to nurture this prodigy that fell on the academy's lap.

Elysse looked fairly calm as she didn't actually realize the value of the gift. Though she refused the Kronos 7 and directly got the 1000BED. Elysse smiled sweetly at Nelson before grabbing Nelson's Crystal card from his pocket.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

Elysse typed in 1000 before clicking the confirm button. Elysse then tapped the Crystal card the receptionist handed to her.

Nelson received his Crystal card back before leaping in shock. His previous 743BED is now 1000BED. As for the other 743BED it didn't take an intellectual for him to realize that it overflowed. Nelson's face paled at the realization.

What that means is that Elysse just donated 743BED to the academy. He had a special Crystal card that cannot be recharged which has a cooldown of 3 years before he can apply for another one. He has Elysse's 1000BED life expenses there. He still has 250,000 in the black card for Elysse's living expenses for 10 months.

Nelson swallowed hard before looking at Elysse's innocent smiling face. She really dug herself a pit this time. Nelson really can't blame Elysse for not knowing the 2 Months recharge limit of 1000BED.

"You... forget it. I can't really blame you"

Nelson handed Elysse the special Crystal card before he left Elysse for the day. Nelson walked back to his dorm with fatigue. This day is really like a rollercoaster for Nelson.

The receptionist obviously saw Nelson 'extorting' money from Elysse. The receptionist called the Students Offense Department.

The receptionist gave Nelson's details to the agent behind the phone.

"What? This is the third one for today..."

The receptionist went silent before continuing to speak of all the 'horrible' things Nelson did to Elysse.

The receptionist first received a call from Teacher Gregory Forle, the teacher assigned to manage the Male's dorm. He reported a student named Nelson Hansen for letting a female stay at the male's dorm for a night, and for also assaulting his superiors. The second one is when the female receptionist at the Academy Examinations Building reported a student lying to her and the student calling a prodigy 'servant', this and that. Today is the third one, and it's him who received all of the complaints regarding this Nelson Hansen.

The agent dropped the call before looking left and right to ask some of his co-workers whether they also received a report regarding Nelson Hansen. After asking around he realized that it was just his luck that got him all of the complaints for Nelson Hansen. He was really worried that things may not have just been simple as he got 3 complaints for the same person from 3 different people from 3 different positions.

The agent rushed to the Students Offense Department's Administrator. The administrator was already reading the earlier 2 reports when the agent knocked in his office.

"Administrator, there's an urgent case"

"Come in"

The Administrator didn't glance at the agent, his eyes focusing on a Profile Report on Nelson Hansen. As for the prodigy, he also had it on the large screen. He looked at Elysse's empty Profile Report before finally looking at the agent.

"Here, sir"

The agent respectfully passed the documents before leaving the office in a haste. He still have a job to do after all.

The Administrator looked at the 3rd complaint against Nelson Hansen. All of the complaints adds up to threatening a prodigy, extorting a prodigy, taking advantage of a prodigy, insulting a prodigy, and sneaking in a woman into the male's dorm...

The Administrator glanced at Elysse's empty Profile Report once again.

"Professor Hans' prototype disappeared last night..."

The Administrator's silent words spread into the silent office.
