Rebirth and Quirk Awakening

After 5 minutes Castiel entered the room with a smile on his face. By seeing that smile David had a bad premonition

"I have received permission from Archangel Michael to give you a quirk of your choice, not without a condition of course"

"What is that condition? As long as it isn't too much to follow i'll agree"

"We want you to help the main character of that world Izuku Midoriya to become a reliable hero"

"I AM NOT BABYSITTING THAT WIMP" David said while giving Castiel a glare

"You don't have to...Just make sure that when you plan to leave this world at that time Izuku Midoriya should be reliable enough to protect the world. We don't want this world to be doomed by another villain after you leave"

"Fine i can agree to that....Now the quirk which I want is control over Classical elements "

"No way!!! That will give u control over earth, fire, water, air, etc. This is way too much power for a mortal even we the servents of heaven arent so brazen to ask for control over elements"

As a kid David's favourite anime was Avatar: The Last Airbender. He knew that the world and everyone living on it was created from the elements of nature and there could be no superpower more OP than the control over these elements of nature

'I have to convince him at any cost, once I get this quirk I can create numerous combinations among them like ice, lava, etc. Gotta gain some sympathy or sitting in a hospital for most of my life would be for nothing'

David knew how to exaggerate his suffering (which he didn't at all) which he went through in his world and gained the quirk he wanted from the softy named Castiel

"Fine...you made your point I'll give you control over elements but I'll have to nerf it by making you work hard to gain complete control over them... it's like the control will be weak at the start and will increase more as you keep on practicing. Just to level the playing field for other mortals in that world"

"Cool as i am going to retain all my memories i can start practicing at an early age" David said while his eyes felt blurry.

As David opened his eyes he found himself in a cradle and 4 people are looking at him . David was born as the son of John Carter and Sally Carter. He had elder twin brothers named George and James who were 3 years older than David. John and Sally came to Japan to study but ended up getting married and settled in Japan

'Dammit I can't understand a word they are saying I forgot I was an American, I gotta learn Japanese now' David couldn't even facepalm himself because he had no control over his body.

1 year later

In this 1 year, David had started understanding basic Japanese while watching his parents teach his brothers Japanese and English. David even found out the quirks of all his family members.

His mother's quirk was control over water and his father could make stone golems. George's quirk was to freeze anything he blows his breath on and James's quirk was to shoot lasers from his fingers.

His father worked as a researcher for the Hero Association and his mother was a famous party planner. George wanted to become a researcher like his father and James wanted to be a hero. David was doted on by his entire family as he was the youngest. It reminded of his family back from his world.

David knew that his quirk and the system won't awaken before he becomes 3 years old. So he decided to watch his father's research work and see his brothers practicing their quirks.

'Even though I will gain an OP quirk I don't want to neglect my physical strength'

"Mom can i join martial arts?" David said while his mom was feeding him

"You are too small for this David wait till u grow at least 3 yrs old then we'll think about it"

Days kept passing by and 2 more years passed away. It has already been a month since he became 3 yrs old but he still hadn't awakened his quirk. He was getting quite restless but his parents assured him and told him to be patient as his brothers had awakened 5-6 months after their 3rd birthday.

One day while bathing in his small tub David started to feel dizzy and slowly his eyes closed.

David was very excited when he saw this happening but suddenly he thought

'What if I drown and die?' Such thoughts kept running in his mind until he passed out

When he woke up he found himself in a clinic surrounded by doctor and his parents. He wanted to sit up but then messages started showing up in front of him. He recognized that this must be the system that Castiel told him about.

Water control [level 0]

'Dammit I only awakened my water element quirk...it seems I'll have to wait to awaken other elements' David thought while sitting straight up

"Congrats David it seems like you have awakened your quirk....but i still need to confirm somethings, can you come sit here" the doctor said while pointing towards a table and 2 chairs nearby.

At that time, the doors opened up and his brothers came in. They were still in their school uniform.

"David...What quirk did you awaken?" they asked while looking at David to which he shrugged acting all innocent

"That's what I want to test...come David" the doctor said while David sat on the chair and saw a couple of things kept on the table

The things kept on the table were a rock , candle , a bowl of water and a bulb.

"We already know that you are able to control air as you almost created a small tornado in your bathroom...But i still feel that your quirk is more than this so i want to do a quick test. Now place your hand near each thing kept on this table and try to concentrate and feel those things" the doctor said while he lit the candle and pressed a button to light the bulb.
