Kartein, with one foot on the other, seriously watched Ares as he exercised and reflected. 'I didn't imagine Ares would have such a marked aversion to that old man.'

The day passed quickly, and before he knew it, the next one arrived.

Kartein was visibly irritated along with Han Seongik, Subin, Seongha, Jisuk, Delein, Wooin and other Union members.

Ares concluded his yawn and responded with disinterest. "I'm here now".

Ares looked up and looked at them all, but then looked away without even giving them a greeting.

"Anytime you want, you can start. I won't let anyone bother you" Ares commented disinterestedly.

Kartein nodded and entered the room. Ares glanced at the guards, who felt a shiver run through their bodies and quickly bowed, fear showing in their eyes.

Ares leaned against a wall and turned his gaze towards Jiwoo.

"Brother, you came" Jiwoo expressed.

Ares nodded and responded. "Kartein asked me to protect him."

They listened to their conversation, but no one dared to interrupt it.

"Thank you" Jiwoo said with a smile.

Subin stepped forward, bowed and expressed. "Thank you, Mr. Ares."

Afterwards, Jisuk and Wooin imitated the gesture.

Ares looked at them and commented indifferently. "Don't thank me, let that old man die for me."

His words caused everyone to freeze, even Han Seongik frowned.

Subin trembled and looked up, looking into Ares's eyes as he stammered. "Mr...Mr..."

Ares sighed and added. "Don't talk to me, we are not acquaintances."

"I hope your grandfather gets better, but you have to remember something, in this world, everything has a cost" Ares added.

The place was plunged into a deep silence.

Ares closed his eyes and a golden aura surrounded him, surprising everyone present.

'Is he even going to train right now?' Han Seongik thought in amazement, while Seongha pondered. 'Even now, he will continue training'

Subin, distracted and flustered by Ares' words, was woken up by Jiwoo. "Subin, don't take my brother's words so seriously. Sit down, your grandfather will recover."

Jiwoo took an arm and helped her sit up. Wooin and Jisuk also helped her.

Jiwoo helped her sit up, and Wooin and Jisuk also offered their support.

Time passed quickly and no one left the place, they remained every day waiting for Kartein to come out.

Finally, a few days later, Kartein emerged with a somewhat fatigued expression and moving his joints.
