84 The Tower of The Twilight Lich (Part 2)

"Powerful being?! Twilight Lich?!" Su Ling was astonished by George's word. She then remembered that she accidentally broke in and stole a powerful being's stuff.

She shrieked when she realized that she stole one of the books and touched the items in that chest. "D- don't tell me.. That slimy thing is human's organ.. And the metallic boots is the murdered human's armor?!"

George laughed when he heard that. "HAHA! Don't worry.. we could get these things. He actually doesn't mind it," But then he sternly said, "Well.. that if you were not seen by him in the top floor."

She gulped and thanked herself for not running to the highest floor of this palace.

"But.. these items is really good tho! A few spider eyes, rotten flesh, an enchanted golden boots, a bottle of ghast tears, a diamond, and two bottles of fire resistance potions."

George then thought. "Hey A.I. What is the enchantment on this golden boots? I'm so.. interested in it!"

「Ding! It's Feather Falling II and Protection II!」

George then rubbed his chin. "Actually it's kinda good.. but.. only for your foot!"

"M- Master, is it really fine for us to steal these things?!" Su Ling still scared that the powerful being will hunt her down. "Maybe I should return this book back to where it belongs!"

George then opened the book and saw that there is nothing inside the book. "W.. wait! Is Master very sure that it's okay to read the book?! What is going to happen if it's cursed?!"

George only smiled when he saw that. "It's really okay! Even if you stole the entire bookshelf, he won't know it! Furthermore.. the invisible guy went to the top and was engaged with him. Want to see?" George thought that maybe he should kill the Twilight Lich, while he was in here.

To be honest.. this boss is kinda hard to kill if you didn't know how to do it! The Twilight Lich had a golden shield that surrounds his body, making him imprenetable to any attack.

Ranged and melee won't work on this guy. Even bombs won't work on him. The only way to make the Twilight Lich take any damage, you must destroy the golden shield first.

"W.. wait! Master, no! If we went there, won't we also die?!" Su Ling asked.

George laughed lightly. "Don't worry! It's definitely fine.. Even if the twilight lich attacked us, I know what to do!"

She gulped once again and didn't know what to do. George thought that maybe she should know about the twilight lich more, so he said "Ahem! Maybe I should introduce you to this guy first! This guy was called the Twilight Lich. He is a tall skeleton-like creature wearing a purple cape and golden crown. The Twilight Lich holds three scepters that have the power of making zombie minions that were buffed and was very strong, the second scepter is for shooting a ball of energy to his enemies, and the last one is to drain people's health. But, he rarely no.. he never used the last scepter. But.. those scepters aren't his strongest capability. His strongest power that he had, is the fact that he could make a doppelganger, teleportation, and his golden shield. We can't attack him if he had the shield on!"

She was very astonished by it. "What about master's strange spiritual artifact? Can it be used to fight this twilight lich?"

"Yes and no.. To be honest, he was very easy to kill. But, it's only possible if you had an experience with it and you also need a strategy!" George smiled coldly. "I remembered fighting this thing and knew how to defeat this thing! So.. let's go and see how that guy is doing right now!"

Su Ling reluctantly nodded her head and joined George to advance to another floor to spy on the fight of the twilight lich and the invisible guy.

- In the top of the lich tower -

When the invisible guy arrived at the last floor, he saw a back of a human figure with a purple cape. This 'human' also wore a golden crown. Thinking that this is George, he said. "Haha! This place turned out to be the owner's residence. So.. that monsters are actually a defense mechanism to make any intruders flew away from this tower! Good! This is intriguing.. But unfortunately, your defense mechanism didn't work as you planned.. Aren't you?" He laughed loudly. He didn't care that he was found out using a potion of invisibility and didn't care if the owner saw his naked body.

But, different from his expectation... It wasn't the owner that he knew. When the 'human' figure looked at him, his face darkened immediately. "W- who are you?! This is indeed a trap!"

The twilight lich didn't say anything and used the twilight scepter to fire an ender pearl like orbs to the guy. The speed of it was slow, similarly to how ghast shot their fireballs. While the twilight lich used his twilight scepter, five golden shields suddenly formed and surrounded him. It was the defense mechanism that couldn't be penetrated by any means. The only way to destroy the golden shields.. was to reflect the orb from the twilight scepter to the shield.

The man frowned and dodged that easily. He then tried to attack the twilight lich. He used his strongest skills to damage it, but the twilight lich just stared at him blankly. He didn't even try to dodge it seriously. "Who are you?! How dare you underestimate my ultimate skill!" The guy was very angry at this guy for not taking him seriously. He was at the peak of the fifth realm, so he was considered as a powerful being. He couldn't believe that this regular monster belittling him. But then..

CLANK!!

His strongest skill was blocked by the golden shield. He felt that his hands almost came out. The golden shields that he attacked didn't show any crack, even with his full power. He was very shocked by it and was distracted because of that.

The twilight lich then used his twilight scepter to fire another orb to him ferociously. The distracted guy realized that he was almost hit by the orb and he couldn't dodge it in time.

Boom!

The orb exploded on his torso. He felt indescribable pain that he never had before. His torso is fine, but he felt this dangerous feeling that if he doesn't dodge another attack, he might die!
