House of Potions

George groggily awoke from his sweet dream because the door is being constantly knocked by a maid. "Good morning Young Master Ma! Here's your breakfast. After you had your breakfast, Master Li said to downstairs."

The smell of foods immediately permeated in his room. The smell of a sesame oil made his belly grumbles.

"Ah! It's actually dumplings and some steamed buns." George instantly devoured them and then go downstairs to find Li Weixiang.

With the help of that mini map skill, he walked around the house like he was living in there for a long time. He never asked about directions to the maids and guards. The guards and maids were confused by that. "This house is really big! If not for the minimap, i'll probably still asking for the directions now." He thought.

"Brother Ma! You are really fast! Let's go then. I already ordered some men to find a store with a lot of customer flow. The owner is also wanted to sell the store for a while."

The store is indeed is in a very good place. All of the surrounding are very lively. But.. a lot of buildings near his place is brothels. Mmn.. Isn't this what they call a red light district? Well fortunately there's a traditional market and restaurants nearby.

"This is the store, Brother Ma! Not to shabby, right? With a few renovations, it'd look like a brand new store!"

George nodded "I intended to build a new building, but since the building is in a good conditions, let's just renovate the store." In fact, George intended to buy a land and buy a modern looking store from the Eldritch Shop, but since it was like that, i'd be a waste of time and credits.

"I know that you need to renovate some things, so i already called some men to help you on that!" Said Li Weixiang.

Not even a minute later, a few men came to the store. "Godfather Li, how can we help you?" Said one of the men while he smiled at George.

"This is my brother, he wanted to make an elixir shop, so could you renovate it? This store isn't suited for an elixir shop. For the cost, come to Li's residence later! For the singboard.. Brother Ma what is the name of your store?" Said Li Weixiang while he nudged at George's clothes.

"Uhh.. Just call it House of Potions or something like that!" Said George. The workers then started renovating the building. The building isn't exactly small or really big. It was a perfect size for some elixir shop. The first floor is used for the store, while the second floor is for his living. Thinking that there's something wrong with Li Weixiang's word, George frowned immediately.

With a strange look on his face, George whispered to Li Weixiang. "How can you do that? You already bought me this store and you'll pay for the renovations too? I'd feel disturbed if you do that!"

"Haha! Don't worry.. You could just think that it was a price to let me and my men go to another realm that you found! Besides this much money is not much."

Hmm? Is there a shrimp below the rock [1]? Or he was a really generous person?

Seeing George's frown, Li Weixiang replied "It's really okay! Ahem! Aren't you interested on why do i called as a godfather?"

Li Weixiang coudn't help but to change the topics to make George's frowned face alleviated. He thought that it might not work, but George's suddenly become dumbfounded by his words.

George squinted his eyes "So, you adopted them as your sons?"

Not expecting that answer, Li Weixiang laughed loudly. "What? That's so funny! I'm called godfather because i'm a very influential person in this Zhenqiu city. No one dares to offend me in this city."

So, in other word, you are a mafia of this city? No wonder that people looked at me weirdly when i walked with you.

Li Weixiang's change of topic was only effective for a while before it suddenly coming back to the beginning. After he talked about why did he called godfather, George asked him about what's the relation between being a godfather and paying for the renovation. It made Li Weixiang really helpless.

He couldn't help but to change to another topic again. "So.. When will we go to the another realm? What should we prepare? Is it a treacherous place or is it a pretty safe place?"

"Oh! Let's go to there while this shop is being renovated! Hmm.. for the preparations, maybe a heat resistant boots and some weapons, i guess? Just remember! It's really really really really really... really hot out there. So, it's a pretty good place to train your body!"

Li Weixiang was baffled. "Why does he repeated the word "really" like a hundred time? Is it a really hot place?!" He thought.

George went to the attic and bought fourteen blocks of obsidian. The size of that block was 1x1x1 meter block. He then created the portal by gluing them and shape them like a rectangle frame. He used glue, because there's a law called "physics", so he can't create them like in minecraft. "The portal is in here. Maybe tomorrow we'll go! If you want to invite someone, you can do it today!"

When Li Weixiang saw George building the portal, He was confused by them. "Why is it blocks?" he thought.

In the end, Li Weixiang nodded and went out, but he come back after a while. "Brother Ma, I forgot to ask you, how much people can go inside the other realm?"

George simply replied. "I don't care how much people. Even if you invite the entire town, it's okay."
