13 Transitioning To Field Training

Xiao Tian Long was feeling quite nostalgic when he saw all the snowy plains around, it reminded him of time when he was in Navy Tide Nation and he was simply killing anyone in his way...

Or that time when Navy Tide Emperor wanted to get in his good graces by offering his daughter.

Or the time when a Tyrant Profound Beast wanted to eat him...

Basically it was time of doing whatever he wanted before 'canon' started, but then again it quickly became boring because how quickly he was going through cultivation realms...

"Ladies... we are here..." Xiao Tian Long said to the fairies as he and Murong Qianxue started to descend on the ground both of them were 'carrying' the fairies which will participate in the ranking tournament in around a year and two or so months.

"We are at the edge of large plains which are home to beast ranging from True Profound all the way to Sky Profound." Tian Long explained to the three girls in front of him, while Murong Qianxue next to him slightly frowned after hearing that.

"Sword Sovereign, while I know that I can beat most of Sky Profound beasts, it will be extremely hard for me to fight while protecting girls." Murong Qianxue said to Xiao Tian Long.

"Hm... indeed, let me help you with that issue." He hummed in agreement then he put his hand on the Second Ranked Fairy shoulder, the fairy in question had a hard time controlling herself and not to blush, this was the first time she was in such close proximity with a male, and not to mention he was touching her!

Next moment Murong Qianxue felt her body just got lighter, then her cultivation in moderate speed reached Peak Of Sky Profound, and then just like that she had a breakthrough into Emperor Profound!

"W-What just happened?" The Fairy said with shell shocked looked, she looked at her own hands, she felt so much lighter and her body wasn't that rigid anymore!

"I opened your Profound Entrances and refined the ice which has been congesting in your closed profound entrances as well as Meridians." Xiao Tian Long explained to her as he lowered his hand.

Muting Qianxue slowly nodded, but then she started to blush for some reason.

"I-I thought I need to d-d-dual cultivate to reach Emperor Profound that quickly..." Sword Sovereign laughed a little bit hearing that, even Xia Qingyue snorted in an amused way.

This only made The Fairy blush increase several folds.

Xiao Tian Long decided to quickly save some face for Murong Qianxue the lady after all is still a maiden.

"In a way you are not wrong, since Frozen Cloud Arts are quite unique, as they give a lot of power compared to other arts, but their drawbacks are that you can't absorb all the ice energy you gathering unless you have special physique or bloodline, for example, if I am to refine all the ice energy Grand Mistress has gathered over the years she would be close to Tyrant Profound by now." Once Xiao Tian Long started to explain, the Second Ranked Fairy sighed with relief, thank heaven they stopped paying attention to her!

But then again once she heard what he said she was quite intrigued by the fact that they are collecting all that ice and not absorbing it!

Just by thinking how their Grand Mistress could be a Tyrant Profound makes her giddy with excitement! Their Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace is on the rise! and all thanks to Sword Sovereign!

"Anyway, since you are a Throne now you can deploy your Domain, even without that your power is much higher now." Xiao Tian Long said to the Fairy.

"Yes, but I haven't practised it yet..." the big-breasted fairy said with slight embarrassed look.

"Well, for now, it's fine as we won't be sending girls that far into the wilderness, so Fairy Murong you can get a hang on the Domain." Sword Sovereign words made the Fairy look at him with appreciation.

"But, first we should build a place to stay..." His words made all of the girls look at him.

"Isn't it too dangerous to do that, in this kind of place?" His wife said after a few minutes of complete silence.

"Don't worry about such minor things, since we all can use ice, we should build the same type of houses we use in Frozen Cloud, with simple inscriptions it would be same as back in Palace grounds." He motioned for them to follow him, as Xiao Tian Long started to look for a good place to build their houses.

Few minutes of walking they decided to build it next to a small hill, since the whole place is nothing more than plains and hills... it beats the point of looking for some unique place.

The whole building process was quite short, less than two hours later there were three small houses.

One for Xiao Tian Long and Xia Qingyue, one for Murong Qianxue and one for Shui Wushuang and Wu Xuexin.

Once the houses were done Tian Long went over and inscribed runes all over them, so even if a powerhouse destroys them they will regenerate in due time as long as ice and snow are around this area, but that is just one of the things he added to them, the other ones being that it's quite warm inside, the floor is not slippery and there is a fully functioning shower... for shower activities...

Anyway, after finishing with preparations the group can move to the main event.

"Right so, this is how we going to do it, all of you will go on your own, since the tournament is one vs one, the goal is to kill as many profound beasts as possible, once you girls killed the beasts extract the profound cores and bring them to me and I will refine them into pills!" Once the girls heard that they will have to go on their own they became conflicted at first, after all, they never killed profound beasts before, but after they heard the last part they had stars in their eyes!

If they are getting pills made by their idol and the Strongest Cultivator of Profound Sky Continent they should be really good!

All the conflict they had instantly evaporated and they started to get excited to get this over with!

"Before you girls start I have something for you three." Xiao Tian Long pulled out three rings for them.

"These are storage rings, or spatial rings depending on who you are asking." Sword Sovereign showed the rings to the girls, Shui Wushuang and Wu Xuexin gasped seeing three purple rings.

"A-Aren't these..." Before one of them can finish the sentence Tian Long gave the pair the storage rings.

"Inside of them are three types of pills I have prepared, the plain white one will replenish Profound energy, the Red one will improve the rate your wounds heal in case any of you get hurt but that's doubtful, and the last one is adrenaline boost, it improves senses and reaction speed, but the price for that is the after effect which will make you slow for couple hours." Xiao Tian Long explained to the trio.

"And of course the size of the rings will help you three to store excess amount of stuff if you find anything worthwhile." The duo nodded at him, while Xia Qingyue was wondering where is hers!?

As if sensing his wife's annoyance Xiao Tian Long took her left hand and put it on her ring finger, the woman saw it she was somewhat taken aback that it was not just simple storage ring!

"It's beautiful... where did you get this one?" Xia Qingyue said with some deep emotions.

"I have my ways love, after all, I have whole Continent kissing my ass..." She snorted in amusement after hearing that, but the rest of fairies looked at Xia Qingyue with some jealousy, they never before cared about such things but seeing something like that happen in front of them, made them actually feel such emotions.

"Right, one last thing." Xiao Tian Long clapped his hands getting everyone's attention and destroying the pink atmosphere he had with his wife.

"If any of you find any Profound Beasts with Dragon blood in them tell me..." His request was somewhat out of place which earned a curious look from the four fairies.

"Um... why is that Husband?" Xia Qingyue asked him.

"Well... I was thinking of domesticating some of them!" Xiao Tian Long said with a confident look, his answer made the fairies slightly gasp at him.

His wife just shook her head, he is probably the last person in whole Sky Profound Continent who actively tries to domesticate... Dragons...

After receiving their rings the trio went their separate ways.

Senior Master Murong Qianxue went to test out her domain, while her husband went... somewhere...

The look he gave her showed that he was serious about getting... Dragon pets...

Well, as long as they not hoarding his attention and are not too big... well that one is no go... since dragons are always big or at least the ones she saw in the books.

Xia Qingyue sighed for a second instead of thinking about her husband new hobby she should focus on getting his praise for collecting most Profound Cores.

After walking for over thirty minutes or so, Xia Qingyue heard a growl.

She quickly looked around to find the source of the growl, after paying extra attention to surrounding she finally noticed a pair of blue eyes to her left.

'This is bad, I didn't even notice this beast until it growled at me! how did it masked its profound energy!?' Xia Qingyue though with a frown.

Not long after the growl did she finally saw through the creature disguise!

Because of its white fur and ability to hide in plain sight, it was difficult to see through it!

When the Profound beast lunged at Xia Qingyue, she quickly lifted her left hand and send freezing cold winds at the white-furred beast.

Xia Qingyue frown only increased when she saw this beast was quite resistant to ice element!

But even so the power behind her attack was enough to send it flying back, and after this Xia Qingyue finally was able to sense its cultivation and 'see' what creature it actually is!

'A wolf? aren't they suppose to be pack hunters?' Raven head thought to herself, but then she saw the white wolf getting back on its feet.

'A True Profound? I guess my attack don't pack that of a physical punch if it survived that so easily' She thought with narrowed eyes.

'In that case...' She then called forth Frozen End Divine Arts.

This time the her attack froze the beast legs, which led the White Wolf to be stuck in place.

'And to finish this off...' She then lifted her right hand and froze air above the wolf, turning into a large and sharp block of ice, then she motioned for it to fall quickly into a wolf on the ground who was struggling to get himself free from the ice prison.

"...Frost Hammer..."

*Whistle*

*Boom*

*Crack*

Xia Qingyue looked at her hand instead of meat paste not far from her.

'Hmm, this time I subconsciously called forth extra Profound energy from my 'Small World'.' Xia Qingyue was a little bit annoyed that she can't properly control her inborn ability.

After her husband explained about her body constitution she started to practise its use, but to her annoyance, she can't really control it yet.

But same time she little bit relieved that she actually has such a thing.

While she is extremely happy being married to Xiao Tian Long, she did a massive blunder before that, and that is being married before, even if nothing happened between her and Xiao...Yun Che, she was still married, and people do look down on that, not that anyone can say anything to Xiao Tian Long about that into his face, but still... she has her own insecurities, especially... her competition being Princess Snow herself...

Princess of Biggest Empire in Profound Sky Continent, and full inheritor of Phoenix legacy...

'At least I gave him incredibly powerful body constitution...' Xia Qingyue snorted to herself as she went to fish out Profound core from the wolf carcass.
