14 Land Dragon
'Why this is happening to me!?' Shui Wushuang was running away as quickly as possible from a large Spirit Profound Frost Bear!
She doesn't know if her luck is bad or something similar to that, but the first Profound Beast she met was a Spirit Profound!
Once she tried engaged it in a battle she quickly realised that it was pretty much immune to her ice attacks!
'I guess I have to use Frozen End Arts! but they drain quite a bit of Profound energy!' The Fairy though with slight annoyance, her rational side was telling her if she relies on those arts for an extended period she will run out of Profound energy very quickly!
After taking a deep breath she stopped running and turned around and then called forth Frozen End Divine Arts.
The Five-metre tall Frost Bear was about to lunge at the Fairy which invaded the Bear's territory.
"Frozen Land!" Shui Wushuang used one of the techniques taught by her idol.
Very next moment the bear was stuck in a block of ice, since it's quite immune to ice techniques and their cultivation is at quite similar level Shui Wushuang decided instead of freezing the Bear insides which are protected by its Profound Energy, she decided to freeze the air around him...
*Ice Crack*
Shui Wushuang quickly realised that it won't going to hold for long, so she quickly formed an Ice Javelin.
'I need to start practising my swordsmanship after this!' She slightly grimaced as this situation is not very nice, same time she realised that Sword Sovereign probably on purpose decided to make them experience this kind of situations where their ice is quite ineffective against their opponents...
Before she threw it she made sure the Javelin is extra sharp, she then quickly prepared to throw it as the bear soon will be free from the ice prison.
*Swish*
The ice Javelin accelerated towards the bear but the profound beast felt the danger to his life and quickly moved its head to the side.
Thus dodging the javelin.
Shui Wushuang grimaced again after seeing her failed attack.
'Another thing to work on.' She then quickly created another one with Frozen End Divine Arts.
And then threw it at the bear, this time she was a little bit luckier as she damage the bear face, and this only infuriated the beast even more.
The fairy could only sigh at this.
'I guess I have no choice...' Once again she called for Frozen End Divine Arts at large scale and refroze the ice around the beast and this time she threw much larger javelin into Frost Bear face, this time it went into its mouth, damaging neck in the process which in turn ended up severing its spine, leaving the beast nothing more but a living dead...
Shui Wushuang tsk' ed for a second as the whole battle cost her more than half of her Profound energy...
And she only started her hunting...
'At least I have a Spirit Profound Beast core from this...' She thought about the bright side of things...

Unlike Shui Wushuang, Wu Xuexin was having much greater luck in hunting.
Her first prey was a True Profound Mountain Lion, which she was able to freeze quite easily...
So far she was having a great time.
'I wonder how is junior sister Qingyue is doing? her higher cultivation makes it harder for us to compete against her...' While she knew that it's not an official competition, the girls nearly automatically made into one themselves...
As the fairy was walking and her mind was in deep thought she almost missed something crucial not far from her...
'I-Is... that...a...' Wu Xuexin stopped in her tracks as she saw 6 metres tall creature with bluish-white scales and lizard-like body with striking dragon-like face munching on some profound beast, her eyes bulged out as she sensed the creature's cultivation.
'I-I-It's a Land Dragon!!!' The girl quickly used her profound movement technique to leave the place as the beast is out of her league, as well as she remembered that Sword Sovereign wanted to find Profound Beasts with Dragon Blood in them!
'Maybe if I am quick I can notify him of this find!' There was a small smile on her face, as she imagined him praising her!

Not long after that Wu Xuexin found Senior Master Murong.
"S-S-Senior Master!" She practically shouted to get Murong Qianxue attention, the Fairy in question quickly noticed Wu Xuexin who was breathing heavily.
"Junior Xuexin what happened?" Murong Qianxue asked the younger girl.
"An Earth Profound Land D-D-Dragon!" The girl said with a shaky voice, she never seen such a beast before! The amount of blood... and that casual way of eating someone... heavens she even saw another profound beast leg sticking out from that Land Dragon's mouth!
Murong Qianxue noticed that, the girl was quite shaken up, to the point that her frozen heart got broken from this...
"It's alright junior Xuexin, Sword Sovereign will deal with this creature." The older Fairy words somewhat calmed down the younger girl.
Not long after that calming Wu Xuexin, Murong Qianxue channelled her cultivation base attracting Xiao Tian Long attention.

The Sword Sovereign was high in air observing Shui Wushuang progress when he felt Murong Qianxue channelling her powerbase...
'Did they found something?' He decided to quickly check it out.
So, He quickly flew towards her location.
The flight was short as he found Murong Qianxue with Wu Xuexin waiting for him on the ground.
"What happened?" Xiao Tian Long descended on ground.
"An Earth Profound Land Dragon is in that direction!" Wu Xuexin quickly said to him.
The Sword Sovereign eyes nearly glowed when he heard that.
"...Really?..." He asked for confirmation, the girl in question slowly nodded.
He then started to grin after seeing a confirmation from her.
"Great! then go and collect the other girls while I will go and... deal with this issue..." Xiao Tian Long said to Murong Qianxue who slowly nodded at him, she somewhat was internally giddy to see him fight!
So, she quickly went to collect the other two disciples while Tian Long flew towards direction showed by Wu Xuexin.
Less than a minute later Xiao Tian Long finally saw the beast.
'Hmm, the way it looks like it... HAS Dragon ancestry, the blood should be quite deluded, there is high chance that it doesn't even have a dragon breath of any kind, even Flood Dragons have poison breath...' Tian Long observed the Land Dragon on the ground who was finishing off some sort of Profound Beast, there is quite a bit of blood around, showing that it was attacked by physical attack not ranged one, that just increased Xiao Tian Long believe that the this Land Dragon doesn't have any sort of breath attack.
'Pure physical... I can get behind that one.' It only going to make his try to domesticate this beast easier.
Soon enough The Land Dragon eyes landed on Xiao Tian Long, there was no fear in this beast eyes when he saw him, even if Tian Long was not hiding his cultivation...
'Hoh... you are interesting one are you?' Sword Sovereign though with interest as his curiosity got peaked by this Profound Beast fearlessness... or stupidity?
For some reason, this Land Dragon reminded him of his little bro...

Xia Qingyue was not shocked that her husband already found his first Dragon, she was more interest how he will... domesticate most ferocious known Profound beasts in The Continent.
Dragons are well known for their power, ferocity, the ability to fight against other beasts or cultivators above their cultivation base, but most importantly they are known for their pride...
That's why she will interest was looking forward to what is about to happen.
When Senior Master Murong Qianxue brought her and her senior sisters to watch the 'battle', she was a little bit... baffled that nothing so far happened.
Her husband was just... having staring competition with the... Land Dragon.
She never saw a dragon before, except for drawings in books, and as she expected they were monsters, even this one in front of her, some distance away is giving off vicious pressure.
"What are they doing? why they are... just staring at each other?" Wu Xuexin asked curiously.
"They don't just stare at each other junior Xuexin, in fact it's like the battle of wills, the first one to make the opponent break the gaze will win and then will establish their dominance over another, such thing is vital if one wishes to... actually tame a predator..." Murong Qianxue explained to the younger fairy.
Who was more or less quite intrigued by this small detail, so were other two fairies, they wonder why their Senior Master knows about such things...
Few more minutes something finally happened! The Land Dragon was the first one to break its gaze and snap at her husband, which then was followed by a lunge at him!
Tian Long simply just waited for the Dragon's sharp teeth to arrive, Xia Qingyue and the rest of fairies took a deep breath of worry.
Even if he is whole Great Realm higher then the Land Dragon, the monstrous beast was still ferocious creature as the bits and pieces of bones and blood on ground indicate enough of its nature.
But... to their surprise the Land Dragon could not even move Tian Long!!!
The Beast was around 6 metres tall! and its teeth alone were close to one metre long!
Yet it could not even push her husband!
Moments later golden particles started to appear around them.
"T-This is sword intent? B-But.. he is not even using his sword yet!" Senior Master Murong Qianxue was shocked so was the trio!
"If he is going to use his sword intent won't he going to wound the Profound Beast he is planning to tame?" Shui Wushuang said while looking at this development with confusion.
But, what they saw next made them speechless...
*Metal Hitting Scales*

*WHISTLE*
The large Land Dragon was sent flying when Xiao Tian Long fist make connection with the dragon face.

"Did he just punched the Land Dragon?" Wu Xuexin asked with disbelieve, she was asking her fellow sisters if what she was seeing was real and not some dream.
"...He did... But this doesn't make sense! Doesn't sword intent is a type of energy which makes attacks sharper?" Shui Wushuang asked with shocked confusion!
"Not necessarily... Heavenly Sword Villa has a technique which creates a clone WITH Sword Intent." Senior Master Murong Qianxue explained.
"But even then you are right Junior Wushuang as what I am seeing now is that Sword Sovereign IS using pure Sword intent in this fight, it should cut it, instead of blunt damage. " The older Fairy frowned upon remembering how Xiao Tian Long used his fist coated in sword intent to hit the Land Dragon.
Then Xia Qingyue remembered something...
"Don't people use blunt swords in practices?" She asked innocently.
"...They do... are you saying Sword Sovereign is making the sword intent... blunt?" Murong Qianxue said while gulping some saliva.
"I... don't know Senior Master... perfectly honest I have no experience with Sword Intent... I am just guessing." Xia Qingyue simply shook her head she has no clue how this type of energy works...
"I am impressed! that punch alone has enough power to instant-kill most of Sky Profound experts! but to you my future pet it's only a simple slap!" To Xia Qingyue her husband looked even more excited by the fact that his punch only scratched the Land Dragon.
*ROAR*
The beast's answer to his words was pissed off roar, the creature quickly got on its feet and started to rush at her husband who was just waiting for the Land Dragon arrival, the way he waited was that of someone who sees the beast's intentions as amusing...
*BOOM*
*CRACK*
Once again the Beast was send flying this time with more force.
Xia Qingyue sighed...
'This is going to take a while...'
