Capture 4

Rey had never feel so devastated like this in his customary life, he couldn't feel either his wolf power or any proficiency.

"Don't always depend on your supernatural aptitude only," he remembered his father's words.

"Learn how to harness your physical ability and instinct."

All thanks to the hard activity he had always gone through, thanks to how Alpha Henry never complied in enlightening him. He was left with just one choice now, to bring out his biological ability and use his durability and skillfulness.

He looked towards the direction of Ariel and Jack's body, it was now nothing less than 50yards away. Circling him, are the giant creatures looking like spiders. perhaps 20 of them.

A horn blares and the creature scrambles at him, his survival instinct kicks in, and springs from the bottom, and steps on one of the creature's gumption.

If he was with any weapon, he could have thrust his sword into his heart and killed him instantly. But, he was helpless, the only thing he could hope for is to avoid all their contaminated seizures. He swiveled around mid-air and landed on the ground.

One of the creatures rushed at him again, but he skimmed past his open leg and did an amazing backflip stunt while twisting his body twice before he disembarked with his shank. He quickly rolled away to avoid one of the creatures that were about to squelch on him.

All around him, he could hear the sand walker cheering and roaring out in enjoyment. He was 20 yards away from the ground where the bodies were located, his arm burning hard and all his wounded parts hurting badly.

He could feel his muscles aching due to the effort, but he couldn't give up, not when his friends were in the spirit world, hoping for him to conserve them. It was also one of his quests, he couldn't fail that. He pushed all the pain aside and allowed his leg to carry him further towards his destination.

Just when he was a few feet from reaching the place, he felt a force choking and consuming his soul. He felt a loud bang in his head and they ached badly. It was like a magnet was trying to pull out his life force while the other was fighting to stop the attractive force.

Without being told, Rey knew it was the work of the soul gem. He managed to raise his head to confirm his suggestion, true to his guess they are right. The leader was now standing up amidst the crowds with his eyes glowing yellow.

Rey could hear the fast-approaching footsteps of the creature, rushing toward him with unimaginable speed. Then a thought comes into his mind. If his wolf could desert him; that means he is closer to the undead sword destination. It was just left for him to concentrate and assemble his inner mind in search of the sword. Rey manages to close his eyes and Unfocus them. One could presume that he is trying to relax his mind and spirit.

Even though the pain he was feeling in his head and the approaching footsteps of the creatures were ringing loudly in his ear. He ignores them and focuses on connecting his spirit with that of the sword.

"Be formless and shapeless, just like water." He heard his foster father's voice bellowing in his ear. He could remember that day clearly, that was the time when he was about to improve his hydrokinetic ability.

"If you are formless and shapeless, you will fit into anything just like water. You placed it into a cup, it will fit into it. You placed it into a jug, and it will surely suit perfectly."

He allowed his mind to do the connecting and he felt it again. The small glowing connection. He taps into it and enhances it.

Now he could feel his mind automatically reaching for the sword's own. It was like the sword was now talking to him, asking him to demand a favor.

"My friend, come over here," Rey whisper to the sword. "Let's show them what a god can do." Rey felt his body getting overwhelmed by a powerful aura. He could feel all the wounds in his body healing quickly as if they hadn't been there before.

All his lost energy was now returning to him, now in duplicate time. He stretches his hand forward and the undead sword appears on his hand. Without further delay, he hacked down the first creature that aimed for him.

He had been prancing to their tunes since when he had arrived here, now is the time they would twerk to his music. He swerved around and cut down two more out of the spider creature that just popped up from behind. He quickly jumps up, aiming for all the creatures that lunge for him.

Rey had never felt so rejuvenated like this before, he changed into their midst, cutting and slashing them down. Green liquid splashed all over his body, he used his other hand to clean the one that just split into his face from the last creature he killed.

All around him, their bodies were all scattered throughout the field. He smiles in satisfaction and moves towards the direction of the bodies he came to retrieve, half expecting the leader and his army to attack him.

"Attack and kill him." The leader ordered his men, just like he had suspected. Tightening his grip on the undead sword, he rushed to meet them, the air blowing his hair backward. He started to Visualize them as escrima sticks he always used in training on the field back in the packhouse. He gets lost in thought, trusting the undead swords to do the rest of the killing.

Rey opened his eyes and used them to scrutinize the damage the sword had done. All around him, all the undead swords were lying down dead with several deep cuts in their body.

The leader was kneeling with the sword struck in his heart and blood oozing out of his mouth. Rey moved closer and pulled the sword out, he reached for the soul gem and snatched it from the man's neck. Rey could feel immersive energy radiating to his body as the gem made contact with his neck.

"I told you earlier that I will surely put a sword in your skull." Rey removes the skull helmet covering his head and rubs his hand on the man's head.

"Unfortunately, I won't be able to do that. My friend needs your body." Rey concluded. He followed his instinct and he drained the man's life force with the gem.

"Good job man," he heard a voice complimenting behind him. He spun back and his eyes collided with that of Ariel and Jack. They have now returned to their body. Looking closely into their eyes, Rey could now see that they are watching him with respect and new honor.

"I know you wouldn't fail me, my Alpha." He heard another voice complemented. He whirled back and saw that Coven had now acquired the new body.

"We can't stay here forever, we have to leave now," Rey uttered hastily.

"You are the leader now," Ariel elucidated.

"And we would do as you wished." Jack finalized and a smile crept into his lips.

"We are heading back to the packhouse," Rey mumbled and the rest nod their head in approval.
