Understanding the System, a little bit more

Colton who's roasting a rabbit over a fire can be seen slowly rotating the rabbit to give it a crisp taste.

Around the campfire all the roommates are sitting down watching the half giant be at work. Expect Wesley who's inspecting the spear.

"So, Wesley are you actually able to inspect the spear or what." Terry looks at Wesley

"So far I've come up empty but I'm wondering if that would be the same for Sam because he's the one that made it." Wesley hands over the spear to Sam "Make sure to open your system and see if you have any notifications." Wesley then proceeds to open his own system.

'I should as well just in case that helping with the rabbit gave me something.' Terry whispers System open

'A hint well that's nice. Maybe I'll be able to do something cool like cast fireball and shit.' Terry in excitement then touches the notification seeing if he could get the hint.

Terry seeing this has his jaw drop not for how "good" the hint was no instead for how bad it was. 'Oh, really woah Elements being around us no shit Sherlock! It's almost like the world is made of Elements; hello system ever heard of the periodic table of Elements you ding bat.'

Terry who's upset with the system close his eyes in defeat and just starts thinking why it would even give that hint if it's so obvious.

'Why would it even give me that hint I mean of course I know the world is made out of it. It's not like I have a chemistry set here in the middle of the forest ready to make whatever it thinks I can do. Unless that is, what it wants me to do. Maybe I'm thinking about this wrong, the message said that the Elementals are everywhere not Elements. But why would it be the same way that Elements are describe in class? Is it trying to hint that's there's more to it. Like...if Elementals are different from Elements what if it's like its own periodic table. A magical periodic table!'

A large smile can be seen growing on Terry face as he keeps thinking about what the Magical Table could really mean.

'If like the periodic table then I guess there should be rules for it as well. So, let's go with this first let's take things at that are around us to build the basics. First off, I can see that there is life and death here. For life the trees and plants. For death the rabbit and the mushrooms which free on dead things and decomposes. So those are like the big dogs of the table.'

'But wait wouldn't Time and Space be the top dogs instead because you need this first before you can place Life and Death into the world.' Not knowing which is better Terry is just puts them in the same group.

'Ok up next, I would say is...Light and Darkness. Then Metal, Lighting, Sonic Waves/sound, and Illusions if that existed. Along with that I guess maybe Ice Magma...mud? Well, I guess I'll find out about that one later on. Ok next with that I'm going to say that Radioactive and maybe poison is an Elemental as well. Then I say at the bottom of list I would put Water Fire Earth and Air last.'

Terry right after that last thought starts to feel and little weird. Weird in the way that world seems almost like he was color blind before, and he just found out what the color green was.

'What the heck is going on why the heck does everything look...more Idk just better or clearer? Idk this is weird I'll check my system first maybe something happen with it.'

Seeing Terry's getting jumpy the rest of the group gets curious about what he's seeing on his system.

"Hey Terry, what's got you all jumpy over there." Sam calls out

"Oh, nothing much just got 50 Xp from thinking." Terry gives out a smug look

"What how does that work." Sam sits up and looks over at Terry

"Well to sum it up I unlocked a hint option and with the hint I got partial discovery of the magical version of the periodic table." Terry sums it up.

"So, what you're saying is that you have to do chemistry to do magic?" Sam tries to understand

"Well, we will see about that." Terry looks towards Wesley who's just finished inspecting the spear.

'I wonder if Wesley found anything out about the spear yet' "Hey Wesley anything new with the spear yet."

"Glad you ask cause yes I did I found out that the spear is like I thought. It's a item that has a description just like our system describe us. Here you take a look as well you just need to say item description." Wesley hands over the spear to Terry.

'Rank Settler? I notice that in my system for my rank, but what does it really?'

"Say, Wesley can you just say item description on anything?" Terry looks at Wesley while handing the spear back.

"Already try it but it seems only that the spear works. My guess is that it's because it's Settler rank. Now to test that theory I'll be making a spear of my own only worse and clearly not as good as Sam's." Wesley grabs a wooden stick and starts making a point one side.

'Ah the new Wesley is so different it's so weird. Just glad he's with us though because I don't think I would have been able to come up with what he's doing.' Terry who's been walking in a new world and had just eaten his first meal starts to get tired.

"Yawn." Terry Yawn's and starts to get comfortable sitting up against a tree "Hey guys wake me up in a hour just going to take a quick nap." Terry closes his eyes and falls into a land of dreams excited for new things he'll get to find.
