DxD: Transmigrated as a mob in Khaos Brigade

"Introduce yourself!" The smile that had been steadily developing on Eric's face began to slowly disappear, and he became incredibly solemn, which made his face appear even more menacing when it was in the shade of the lighting. "Hello, my name is Eric Kingsley, and I will soon turn sixteen years old. I work in the medical sector of the hero faction and live an ordinary, quiet life every day." Eric went to the DxD universe, where he was reborn as a human equipped with a unique piece of sacred gear called [Twilight Healing]. Even though he worked as a healer and possessed a unique and valuable piece of sacred gear, no one paid him any attention because of his weak body. When he couldn't figure out how to pass the level, he activated the mind-reading system. Not only was he able to read people's memories, but he also had the ability to earn rewards! From the memories of the people he had healed, Eric learned about the hidden dangers of the DxD world. He decided to become a weak mob in the medical division so that he could become unbeatable in the supernatural world as soon as possible. "I know you are powerful; battle me!  I will show you that I am the most powerful white dragon empress!" A ravishing woman with silver hair and azure wings accused Eric. "I'd appreciate it if you could show me how to cast that barrier spell. I've never seen anything like it; you must be a genius, " Eric was followed by an adorable witch with blonde hair and sparkling eyes. "Let's make kids, Eric nya~" A vulturous woman with massive cleavage kept harassing Eric. "You are powerful. If you defeat Baka-red, I will grant you any wish you have."  "Fuck! Can't you see, I'm a mob! Boss Cao-Cao save me," Note: This fic is based on "Reborn as a Anbu Torturer." So the plot progression would be very similar to it.

chapter 4

Everything became very evident once Eric read the memory of this person.

Eric initiated the usage of the [Twilight Healing] power and started the process of restoring the unconscious person's health. Eric continues to act as though he is healing him for another five or six minutes, even though the other person has very little vitality.

It would be impossible to heal this person with his previous weak body.

However, now things are different.

Eric withdrew his hand and let out a relieved sigh of relief as he did so.

"Captain Marsilio, it's done." Eric talked carefully, and his dark eyes were focused on Marsilio the entire time.

"Then, what is the status of his health?" Immediately, Marsilio questioned.

"Exactly as you stated, he has sustained some serious spinal cord injuries; due to the demonic power and violent nature of it, it has even destroyed and slightly corrupted his bone marrow; it was the equivalent of introducing stage 3 cancer directly into a healthy individual," Eric explained.

"Could it be the situation?" Marsilio gave Eric a thoughtful look before inquiring,

"Then why were our medical professionals unable to discover anything about it?"

"Because the nature of demonic power is unstable, it may have disappeared after it has done its damage. Because my sacred gear is holy and very sensitive to demonic power, I could figure out what was going on even though there was just a trace of it. I am confident that the conclusion I have reached is accurate."

When Eric stated this, there was a little hesitation in his tone. Then, with a solemn voice, he said,

"That's not even the whole story. Because of the foreign chemicals that have attached themselves to his blood, he loses a small amount of oxygen in his circulation each time he breathes and finishes a respiratory cycle. As a result, he takes in less oxygen each time he breathes, and eventually, he won't be able to take any oxygen into his system at all.

"You mean..." Marsilio wore a frown. Eric understood what he was alluding to even though he was unable to continue what he was about to say.

"He has been contaminated with poison." Eric nodded his head and said,

"Since he was poisoned, I haven't seen any concrete evidence, but his oxygen consumption has already dropped to less than 30 percent of what it should ordinarily be."

"Someone desired for him to endure great suffering before passing away."

"Are you aware of the kind of poison that was used?" The question was posed in a low tone by Marsilio.

"I have no idea!" Even still, Eric continued to shake his head and then he remarked,

"However, I can tell you the contents of it that I was able to recognise in his bloodstream," Eric said.

"Alright, cast a mind transfer magic so that its contents are sent directly to me. I'm going to assume that the fundamentals of hypnosis and other forms of magic have already been explained to you."

Eric responded in the affirmative, "Yes, I am familiar with the basics."

Along with a few other elemental spells, hypnosis magic is one of the fundamentals that members of the [Hero faction] are instructed to learn.

Eric's predecessor wasn't good at elemental spells; he couldn't perform the most basic fireball spell, and he barely managed to learn hypnosis magic, since he had a sacred gear that slightly aided in it.

The power of hypnosis is based on willpower, and because he uses sacred gear, his willpower is automatically enhanced compared to regular people.

Marsilio nodded and gestured for Eric to proceed.

Eric took a step forward and reached out to place the palm of his hand on Marsilio's head.

Hum!

As soon as his palm touched Marsilio's head, his entire body began to shiver, and images of horrible and bloody violence immediately began to flood his thoughts.

[Ding Dong!]

[You have successfully read the memory! Obtained Perfect Transformation Technique!]

Eric was momentarily immobilised by the presence of a distinct electronic sound, which resonated in his head.

Accident.

This occurred due to a mistake.

He had no intention of looking into Marsilio's memory; all he intended to do was transfer the memory to Marsilio using the most fundamental memory-transferring spell there is.

Nevertheless, the system accesses this memory without any sort of magical alterations on its own automatically.

in any other case, if Marsilio is aware.

It would have been a dead end.

Eric didn't dare think about whether it was the rewards acquired from the system or Marsilio's memories at this very moment...

These were not vital as of right now, and he had to concentrate on the events that were taking place first. Just hand over the memory, and ignore everything else around you.

Eric called upon his magical power and cast the memory transfer spell to relay the information and visuals of the poison's components that he had observed.

"I see it."

Marsilio then said in a deep voice,

"Thank you very much for all of your hard work, Eric. I will send your reward to your room later. There is nothing for you to do here."

"Yes!"

Eric wisely responded and retired. After that, he walked out of the room that belonged to the medical division.

(Scene Change)

After Eric had left, the guy strolled slowly toward the dormitory, feeling a bit uneasy in his chest, but there were even more shocks awaiting for him.

The reason for his anxiety was that he had unintentionally read some of Marsilio's memories.

The fluctuations in his state of mind were brought on by the pieces of memories that ran through his head for a split second.

It came as a shock to him because he believed that he could only read the memory once; nonetheless, he read it twice in a succession today and was rewarded twice as much as he normally would have been.

The one and only issue was...

Both [Perfect Transformation Technique] and [Gradation Air] are really useful.

However,

"If my assumption is accurate, the reward for reading someone's memory is proportional to the power of the person whose memory is being read!"

Because the sick individual only had a small amount of strength, they could only provide him with something simple like Gradation Air. This is not the "trace-on" version of the projection magic that is utilised in the unlimited blade works; rather, it is the most fundamental form of the projection magic.

"Yet, despite this, its ability cannot be denied. Since I have [Absolute potential], I can't help but wonder if it's possible for me to create the trace version all by myself."

"However, Marsilio is a powerful man."

Reading through his memories led to the discovery of an extremely valuable skill: the "Perfect Transformation Technique."

"Well, there is one thing that is evident...."

"If you want greater prizes, you need to look for opportunities to read the memories of stronger beings! If you want higher rewards, you need to look for opportunities to read the memories of stronger beings!"

Eric arrived at his own conclusion in complete silence.

However, this ruling was only a preliminary one, and in order to come to a definitive decision, he will have to look at a great number of different situations.

It did not take Eric very long to get back to the dormitory where he was staying.

He can't help but be excited to put his new strategy to the test.

After that, he focused his emphasis on developing the optimal method of transformation.

"I'll give it a shot!" Eric does a good job at making the hand seal gesture.

Even he had no idea why he employed such a hand-sealing move in the first place.

It is as though it were etched into the very being. The power that can be obtained through the system needs to look something like this!

"Transform into Captain Marsilio!"

There was a rush of heat coming from Eric's abdomen, which should have been the mana in his body, and Eric's breathing became erratic. The hand seal motion was swiftly transferred to the correct location by Mana.

Bang!

The transformation of Eric's appearance was precipitated by a sudden explosion in the air.

He looks just like Marsilio, down to the trench coat that he's wearing! Even the intimidating air that surrounded the Marsilio was mimicked by the technique.

This method is flawless, just like the description claimed it would be. There is not a single problem with it.

"This is the transformation technique!"

Eric was unable to hold back a sigh. Although this transformation method was the most simple in Naruto's universe, it was the first magical technique he performed for someone who had crossed over.

This helped him understand that everything was in fact real!

Bang!

After receiving yet another blast of air, Eric reverted to his normal form immediately afterward.

"All right, let's take a peek into Captain Marsilio's past right now!"

On the wooden bed, Eric took a seat. He gradually shut his eyes and started to submerge himself in Marsilio's memory as he sat there.

Scene after scene played out like a movie in his head and came flooding back to him all at once.

Because of Marsilio's memories, he was able to see a side of the world that the vast majority of people have never experienced.

Enemy.

Betrayal.

Spy.

Cuck.

All of these distinct identities were connected with their respective roles in the domain of the supernatural. Assassination.

Trap.

Clever deception.

The devils took up their various places and engaged in a fierce conflict with one another, which resulted in an overwhelming number of casualties.

A little over a year ago

Captain Marsilio has suffered a devastating loss in the form of the death of his lover.

According to the recollections, the event that had taken place wasn't really required to take place; rather, it was only supposed to be a recon operation.

Nevertheless, when Marsilio and his lover were attacked by the devils, they appeared to be the devils of the old Satan group; nevertheless, this was simply a disguise, as Eric saw a face that was extremely similar to the one he saw in those recollections.

Diodora Astaroth.

Sigh.

Everything makes sense when you consider that Captain Marsilio's girlfriend was formerly the saint of the church, and when you also consider that the creepy devil has a thing for holy ladies, everything makes perfect sense.

Both Captain Marsilio and his lover ended up falling victim to the snare that had been meticulously laid out for them.

However, he was still required to have the ability to compete against a legitimate high-class user of sacred gear, steal his girlfriend, and then brutalise her in front of the opponent.

Damm! Diodora's balls are made of steel.

Eric had no choice but to admire Diodora's intestinal fortitude. Diodora is not a dog at all; he is actually a dragon in disguise. This is another piece of evidence that he cannot rely on his gut instinct when it comes to his grasp of the plot.

It is fair to say that you have utilised every strategy at your disposal in order to get information and advance your position.

However, this was Captain Marsilio's own personal memory, and he still had a tonne of other memories that needed to be analysed.

Captain Marsilio, as one of the most important members of the [Hero faction], was made aware of the dark aspects of the political battles among the great powers.

This was something that common people had no chance of getting their hands on at all!

Eric became aware of something after viewing these pictures secondhand by way of the captain's recollection.

"The domain of the supernatural is fraught with peril!"

It's still safe at Khaos Brigade's medical division!"

Eric was unable to hold back a sigh. Even more certain than before, he knew that he would remain in this medical division until he had built up sufficient strength.
