Meeting Dulio Gesualdo!

It's been a month since Vasco adopted Veelex and in this past month Veelex has been holed up in the mansion's library learning as much as he can about life and how things in the world works. If there was something he didn't understand then either Vasco or one of the maids would explain it to him.

Veelex is doing this upon Vasco's instructions. Given that the boy had quite the talent for learning Vasco thought it would be good for him if he could read as many books as he could.

"So all mythologies and supernatural beings actually exist?!" Muttered Veelex in shock.

One of the maids smiled and said: "Yes and his Eminence is one of the legendary exorcists who managed to defeat one of the leaders of the fallen angels Kokabiel. In fact during his youth his Eminence was not only regarded as the world's strongest exorcist but also the world's strongest human."

Veelex had stars in his eyes upon hearing this, as he thought: "Wow! Pops was unexpectedly so awesome!"

Seeing Veelex's reaction the maid said: "Young Master, his Eminence is currently practicing in the training room. Would you like to see him train?"

Veelex looked at the maid with shining eyes: "Really?! I can watch Pops train?"

The maid smiled and replied: "Of course! Please come with me."

Upon arriving at the training room Veelex could see a shirtless muscular elderly man.

In front of him was a large boulder about five times his size.

Seeing this Veelex couldn't help but ask the maid: "What's Pops gonna do with that big rock?"

The maid simply smiled and said: "Watch and you'll understand Young Master."

Veelex obediently nodded and set his sights back towards Vasco.

After taking a few deep breaths Vasco made a stance and the pressure around him suddenly became extremely heavy.

Seeing this Veelex suddenly became fully focused on Vasco while at the same time not realizing that his eyes were currently flickering with red light.

The maid who was also fully focused on watching Vasco also did not notice this.

Taking one more deep breath Vasco's fist was suddenly covered in golden light.

Thrusting his fist forward while shouting: "Sacred Fist!"

BANG!!!

The moment his fist made contact the boulder was instantly obliterated and the entire training room was clad in smoke.

When the smoke finally cleared Veelex could see Vasco's towering figure completely calm and relaxed as if what he had just done was a trivial thing. There wasn't a trace of the boulder, not even a speck of dust was left.

Seeing this the maid commented: "His Eminenec doesn't like it when the training room gets dirty. Which is why he make sure's to never leave a speck of dirt during his training sessions. He says that it in itself is a form of training and descipline."

By this point Veelex had once again stars in his eyes: "Pops is so amazing!"

Veelex then silently muttered: "I must also work hard so that I can be as amazing as Pops and make him proud!"

It was at this moment Vasco noticed the two who were watching him.

Seeing them Vasco laughed and said: "Have you two been there from the start?"

The maid smiled and answered: "No we just arrived your Eminence."

Veelex then said with an excited voice: "Pops your so strong! Can you teach me how to blow up rocks like that too?"

Vasco smiled hearing the child's question: "Maybe when your older. For now the things you must do is to have fun, learn as much as you can and play with other children."

Veelex tilted his head and said: "But I don't know other children."

Hearing this Vasco scratched his head in embarrassment: "Oh that's right you've been cooped up in the house for a month now."

He then turned to the maid and asked: "Greta do you think Veelex is too young to start going to school?"

The maid named Greta thought for awhile then answered: "With Young Master's intelligence I think we can directly skip Pre-school education and directly enroll him into Primary education. Primary Education students are around five to six years old which means there's still 2 years before he can start. Until then I think it would be best to simply homeschool him."

Vasco nodded and said to Veelex: "Then it's settled! You will be homeschooled for two years then you will enroll into Primary Education."

Veelex then complained: "But Pops I wanna learn how to be a strong exorcist like you!"

Vasco laughed and replied: "Well I'll consider it when your older. For now focus on your education."

Veelex pouted but obediently nodded: "Yes Pops."

Vasco patted his head, smiled and said: "That's a good boy."

Later that Afternoon....

Veelex could be seen standing at the center of their mansion's large backyard garden.

The boy then closed his eyes and took a stance similar to what Vasco had previously done.

Veelex then started to take deep breaths and as he did he unknowingly started to gather holy power into his body.

By his tenth deep breath his entire body was already covered with a thin layer of holy power.

By this point Vasco had already sensed the Holy Power and appeared a few meters away from Veelex.

With his eyes full of interest Vasco said in surprise: "To think that he had only seen my Sacred Fist once and yet he could already achieve up to this point. Haaah.... It's really hard to imagine that this boy is only a three year old kid."

By this point the maids and nuns of the mansion had arrived by his side.

Greta asked: "Your Eminenece Young Master he...."

Vasco waved his hand to cut her off and said: "Don't worry I'll stop him if things get dangerous. For now let us watch and see just how much of my technique he had comprehended after only seeing it once."

Greta bowed: "Yes Your Eminenece!"

Veelex took one more deep breath and fiercely opened his eyes. The moment he did so his eyes could now be seen glowing with ominous red light.

The holy power that was originally covering his entire body had now started to gather into his right fist. When all of the holy power had been fully gathered into his right fist, he then shouted the same way Vasco had done so before: "Sacred Fist!"

BANG!!!

A wave of golden light had suddenly enveloped the entire backyard and blinded the eyes of the maids and nuns.

As for Vasco he had been completely shocked by what he just saw.

At first Vasco was skeptical as to whether or not Veelex could actually pull off the move. But when he saw the holy power gather into Veelex's fist he knew that the chances of the boy succeeding became quite high. But when Veelex finally displayed the move he was shocked speechless.

Vasco thought: "How could this be?! His synchronization with holy power and understanding of the Sacred Fist has exceeded even my own? If not for the fact that his physical strength, stamina and control hasn't yet reached my level he should've been able to display 150% of the move's true might!"

When the golden light finally dissipated everyone could see Veelex lying down on the ground unconscious.

"Young Master!" Worriedly called out by the maids and nuns as they quickly gathered around the unconscious boy.

Vasco woke up from his trance and quickly chcked on the boy's condition: "He's fine just exhausted."

Breathing a sigh of relief Greta and the other maids immediately took Veelex back into the house to rest.

A few hours later.....

"Eh? Where am I?" When Veelex finally woke up he was confused as to what had happened to him.

Hearing his voice Greta immediately entered the room and spoke in joy: "Young Master your awake!"

Seeing Greta Veelex tilted his head and asked in confusion: "Big Sister Greta why am I in my room? Wasn't I playing in the backyard before?"

Several Minutes Later.....

Veelex arrived at the living room accompanied by Greta, where Vasco could be found calmly drinking his tea.

Seeing Veelex, Vasco smiled and said: "So your awake! Did Greta tell you what happened?"

Veelex tilted his little head and said: "Big Sister Greta says I got tired and fell asleep in the backyard while playing."

Vasco gave Greta a meaningful glance and said: "Yes that is indeed what happened. Next time make sure not to overexert yourself when playing ok?"

Veelex obediently nodded: "Yes Pops!"

Based on what Vasco had observed as well as from his personal experience it seemed as if Veelex had only managed to execute the Sacred Fist unconsciously. Meaning there's a chance he wouldn't rememeber doing it once he wake's up. The reason why he could tell was because he had experienced similar enlightenments himself during his younger days. Which is why Vasco decided not to tell the boy about what he had just accomplished. Fearing that it might make the boy arrogant once he finds out he possesses such talent.

It was at this moment another maid entered the room and said to Vasco: "Your Eminence Master Dulio has arrived."

Vasco then said in a surprised tone: "Oh?! Well he's early."

He then turned towards Veelex and said: "Come Veelex let me introduce you to a friend of mine."

Vasco then went towards the front door to welcome his guest with Veelex obediently following him from behind.

When the Guest finally entered, Veelex saw a young man with blond hair, green eyes, and dressed in priest clothes.

Seeing the young man Vasco smiled and said: "Your surprisingly early!"

The young man gave a forced smile and replied: "Yeah Big Sister Griselda made sure I wouldn't be late today."

Hearing this Vasco couldn't help but laugh: "Haha... Well knowing her it must've been quite a morning for you Dulio."

"Ugh don't remind me." Said Dulio, after which he then noticed Veelex who was curiously staring at him.

Dulio then bent down on one knee and said while smiling at Veelex: "Well now who's this little guy?"

Vasco replied: "This Young one is my adopted son Veelex Strada."

Hearing this Dulio was surprised for a moment but then smiled and said to Veelex: "Hello there little guy. My name is Dulio Gesualdo you can call Big Brother Dulio from now on."

Veelex nodded and happily replied: "Ok... Big Brother Dulio!"

Dulio's smile became even brighter as he took out a muffin with a small cookie on top and asked Veelex: "Here Veelex, you can have this muffin. Consider it a gift in honor of becoming my new little brother."

Seeing the delicious looking muffin in his hands Veelex had stars in his eyes once again as he bowed to Dulio and said: "Thank you Big Brother Dulio. May God Bless your kind heart."

After which Veelex proceeded to take a bite out of the muffin and his face began to brighten with joy.

Vasco then said: "Dulio don't tell me you plan to start bribing my son with sweets?"

Dulio then started scratching his head in embarassment: "Eh?.. Was it that obvious?!"

Vasco then gave a forced smile as he shook his head.

He then turned to Veelex who was happily munching on his muffin and said: "Alright. Go inside and finish your muffin. Your Big Brother Dulio and I have some important things to discuss."

Veelex obediently nodded: "Yes Pops!"

After Veelex left with Greta, Dulio turned to Vasco and said: "That's some lovable kid you've got there old man."

Vasco smiled and said: "Yes he is indeed quite endearing."

Vasco's face then turned serious as he asked Dulio: "So that matter I asked you to look up?"

Dulio then sighed and replied: "Yes it's been confirmed. The girl does indeed carry the spirit of the Maiden of Orleans... Joan of Arc!"
