DxD 0081: Pool Party

"How in the world did she talk you into helping her with this?" Sona asked with disbelief evident in her tone.

Abaddon scoffed, "And what makes you think that I was talked into anything?"

"You're going to the pool that they are supposed to be cleaning. It took a lot of work for me to pawn the job off to them." Sona said to him with a wide-eyed expression. She looked like she was in shock. However, that didn't stop her gaze from traveling all over his body. He was wearing only a pair of beach shorts and slippers. That left his torso bare for Sona to admire.

"I'm not going to be cleaning it with them. I'm just going for the pool party that comes after." He said with a laugh, "You should come too. It'll be fun." He said.

"That makes sense, I guess…" She said as her expression of shock morphed into an understanding one.

"So, you coming?" He asked.

"I can't, Rias would kill me. I pawned off the work to her saying that I'm busy with something really important." Sona said while looking away in embarrassment.

"Welp, your loss…" Abaddon laughed and started walking. Sona turned to look at his receding back with a sad expression on her face before it morphed into an angry one. She charged at him with her full speed before jumping at his back. She wrapped her arms and legs around him like a koala.

"You ass…" She complained in his ear, "Couldn't you try harder to show me that you care?"

"It's called reverse psychology, but okay…" He chuckled as he naturally grabbed her thighs and kept walking on his merry way.

"Wait, what?" She asked while pulling her head back from his neck.

"Yeah. You're coming too." He patted her thigh.

"Nonono…" She shook her head violently and tried to free herself from the grip of Abaddon's hands.

"Don't worry so much. Just tell Rias that I kidnapped you and forced you to come here." He said with a chuckle as he kept his hold tight on her legs.

After some fruitless struggle, Sona finally seemed to give up and rested her head on Abaddon's shoulder as he walked through the grounds of Kuoh Academy, "Why didn't you just teleport there?" She asked him while resting her head on his shoulder.

"I felt like walking. Teleporting is convenient and all, but sometimes the simpler stuff is also pretty fun." Abaddon said to her as he trailed his hands along Sona's thighs which were left bare due to the short length of the skirt of the Kuoh Academy uniform.

"I agree…" She said as she enjoyed his gentle caresses.

They went the rest of the way in silence as they finally heard the sounds of scrubbing from inside the fenced area that had the pool. Abaddon walked in as Sona pushed the gate open for him since his hands were still holding her thighs.

"How are you all doing girls?" Abaddon asked as he saw an almost cleaned-out pool. Kiba was the last one scrubbing some moss from a corner, "Look what I brought." He walked to a seating area where the girls were resting.

"Sona…" Rias trailed off with a smile that wasn't a smile.

"H-hi, Rias. I was busy and Abaddon suddenly came and kidnapped me!" She instantly threw Abaddon under the bus. Rias looked at Sona with a scrutinizing gaze for a few seconds before sighing and looking back at Abaddon, "You're late."

"Not really. I'm perfectly on time considering I didn't plan to do any of the work." He smiled innocently, "So where are the swimsuits? I'm all in for a good time in the pool."

"I wanna punch your face," Rias said with gritted teeth. "I agree with Buchou, A-kun…" Akeno said from the side.

Abaddon made an expression of heartbreak as he looked at Akeno, "I'd expect this from Rias, but you too, Akeno? Where's my gentle, flirty, and beautiful sleeping buddy?"

His reply left Akeno speechless with a slight blush on her cheeks, but she didn't respond.

"I'll fill the pool, you girls can all change into swimsuits so we can finally get this party started." He said as he put Sona down on the ground.

"I don't feel safe swimming with you, pervert senpai…" Koneko said with an emotionless tone.

"Why? Do you think I'll drown you?" Abaddon asked jokingly.

"That's exactly what I'm worried about. I don't know how to swim." She looked at him with her usual emotionless face and tone.

"You don't know how to swim," Abaddon raised a brow in surprise and Koneko just shrugged in response.

"Change of plans. Rias. You and the girls can do your own thing. I'll be borrowing Koneko for a while." Abaddon stated as he disappeared from everyone's vision for a moment before appearing in front of Koneko.

She didn't even register his movement before he grabbed her by the waist and put her over his shoulder. She could only let out a yelp before finding herself flung over his shoulder.

"Have fun, Koneko-chan…" Akeno cheerfully sent her off, her tone eliciting a chuckle from Sona who was looking at Koneko's weak resistance with amusement.

When Abaddon reached the empty pool, he created a huge magic circle before a large amount of water was created out of thin air and poured into the pool, filling it up within seconds. Abaddon felt like he heard a male scream when he flooded the pool, but he just ignored it.

Meanwhile, Koneko was hitting his back and swinging her legs wildly as she tried to free herself.

"Hold your breath!" Abaddon made a big show of throwing Koneko in the water, making the poor girl scream as she completely forgot to hold her breath. However, she was lucky since Abaddon didn't actually throw her in the water and just put her down in front of him while laughing.

"Mean…" She looked at him with dead eyes, though she kept holding his wrist since she was a little shaken up.

"I'll be mean if you call me by a mean name. I'm Abaddon. Calling me a pervert all the time is also mean." He said as he looked into her eyes.

Koneko took a little pause before saying, "Sorry…"

Abaddon just chuckled in response and chuckled while rubbing her head, "Don't sweat it. I am technically a pervert. It's just that I'm really strong so no one dares to say that to my face." He smiled at her as he cast a magic circle over her head. The magic took effect and Koneko's uniform quickly disappeared, revealing Koneko's naked visage momentarily before she was covered in a cute two-piece swimsuit.

"Hey!" Koneko's eyes widened in surprise as she hugged herself protectively. She jumped away from Abaddon instinctively and didn't think about where she would be jumping to. Considering that the pool was just behind her, her jump resulted in her tumbling into the water.

At least that's what would've happened if Abaddon hadn't already wrapped his arm around Koneko's waist to prevent him from jumping back which led to her only being able to touch the water with her foot before he pulled her toward him.

Abaddon just looked at Koneko with an amused expression as he enjoyed the feeling of her silky smooth waist. He looked down to admire the two-piece bikini that he put her in.

'I have nice taste…' He thought as he admired Koneko wearing the cute white frilly bikini.

"Pervert senpai…" Koneko said expressionlessly with a tint of red on her cheeks.

"You look beautiful, Koneko." He rubbed her hair gently and combed his fingers through it for a while before saying, "Let's go in." Koneko didn't have the chance to reply before he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the pool.

"Wait!" Abaddon was already halfway in the pool when Koneko stopped him.

"Don't hesitate, Koneko. I'm here, you'll be perfectly fine." He gazed into her eyes with an encouraging smile on his face, "How about this… Come here." Abaddon walked up to Koneko and said, "Hug me tightly so that we can first get you comfortable with the water before we do anything else." He told her.

Quite a few thoughts were going through Koneko's head as she looked at the huge pool of water, feeling a little intimidated. It reminded her of her training with Sona over the lake where all of the water was infused with deadly Destruction energy. She was terrified for every moment of that training.

As she was stuck in indecision, she was enveloped in Abaddon's embrace as his arms wrapped around her waist and her face pressed against his chest, "Come on…" He whispered to her as he started walking slowly backward.

Koneko felt him pulling her toward the water and instinctively wrapped her arms around him to feel some sense of safety as her toes dipped in the cold water of the pool.

Meanwhile, Abaddon slowly descended the stairs while walking backward with Koneko in his arms. Her arms that were wrapped around his waist tightened as the water reached her knees.

"All right, Koneko. Let's take a little dip, okay?" He asked her. However, the vehement shaking of her head against his chest indicated that she didn't want to and just wanted to get out of the water.

"Look at me, Koneko." He pulled her face away from his chest and bent his legs in the water so that he was on eye level with Koneko.

"Come on." He kept his hold over her waist tight as he got further into the water while bringing Koneko with him. At some point, she lost the ability to stand on the floor and instinctively wrapped her legs around him.

As Abaddon got deeper into the water, it rose up to Koneko's chest and by now, she was shivering a bit due to her tense nerves.

"You're too tense, Koneko…" He said to her as he trailed his fingers over her back. It ended up eliciting a yelp from Koneko as she felt like something was slithering on her skin. Her cute reaction made Abaddon chuckle.
