Prologue 1

"Fuck, even in the afterlife I can't get a break" thought Jack Daniel to himself as he recalled the events that happened a few hours earlier.

(Flashback)

"No hard feelings kid this is just business and business rivalry between rich families tends to pay well" said the altair dressed man as he sunk his dagger right into my heart.

As I layed there lifelessly, memories of my life flashed before me.

I was born to a rich business family that mostly dealt in jewels and accessories. I was the second son of the family and I definitely could say that I'm definitely spoiled by both my parents and my older brother to the point I became a shut-in. You could say I was a guy who enjoyed his fair share of games and anime. My time was mostly spent staying in the house either trashing some salty LoL and CoD Warzone players or spending all my money to get the latest 5 star character in Genshin Impact or Honkai Starrail.

Those were the good old days but just because I stayed home most of the time didn't mean I didn't work out. We have an indoor gym built in our mansion so that whenever I'm bored I do some exercises to stay fit.

Today I celebrated my 18th birthday with my family at home and since I'm finally of age, I could finally try alcohol and for once experience getting drunk. In the end we all got drunk and each went to their own bedroom for some shut-eye. After entering my room I closed the door behind me and went to my bed but before reaching it, I noticed somebody standing next to the balcony entrance. Before I could scream in shock at the intruder he placed his hand on my mouth, said a few words before stabbing and ending my life.

(A few minutes later)

I suddenly open my eyes to find myself in my bedroom. Thinking that what happened was probably a bad dream I stand up but as I was looking at my hands and feet I notice that they now have this ghostly ethereal look to them as if I can see through them. As I check the rest of my body I find the same transparent almost fading look there as well.

"Am I ghost that can haunt people now since I didn't go to neither heaven nor hell?" I wondered and as I said that a golden light suddenly shined down next to me forming what looked to be an escalator made of gold and white accents leading way up into the sky. I felt something calling me to go up there so I decided to stand on the escalator as it started to lead me upwards.

After what felt like hours I finally reached two massive golden gates that towered over me making me feel small but as I peeked what's beyond the gate left me speechless "Excuse me sir".

A vast garden filled with lush green trees and flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors. People are running around playing with their pets while others are having a picnic sitting and eating next to each other.

"EXCUUUSE ME SIR!" A voice shouted next to my ear, as I turn around I look at the person that was calling me. He was an old man wearing a white robe and had a pair of angel wings behind his back.

"Sorry about that I was captivated by the beautiful sight before me" I sincerely apologized.

"It's ok it happens a lot since the view is truly marvelous, I can understand how people feel after seeing it for the first time. Anyways welcome to heaven Jack Daniel, I hope you enjoy the rest of you're life here in heaven." He smiled at me kindly.

"Thank you" after passing the gate I kept walking for a while until I saw a familiar face that shocked me. I walked up to the guy and asked him.

"Hello by any chance are you Lucifer Morningstar?" when he looked I was sure it is him because he has those eyes that feel like they can see right through you.

"The one and only, after all nobody has this devilish charm. Anyway welcome to the party come enjoy yourself" he told me as we strolled through the garden.

"Quick question if you are the devil why are you in heaven?" I asked since I was genuinely curious. He paused then looked at me with a helpless smile.

"I was invited by my dads since they care about me soo much"

"Wait what do you mean dads?Shouldn't there only be one god that rules all?" I questioned.

"No that idea that you read about in some religion, fanfics, and novels about a god of the omniverse is false but instead we have 3 high gods. Each one watches one third of the omniverse with the help of lesser gods. Follow me I'll introduce you to them"

Well that was quite the shocker for me. A couple of minutes later we reached a clearing that has 4 people that were sitting on the ground chatting. I'm sure that my eyes would've popped out if they could because of who those 4 are.

"Hi dads, and sister I'd like to introduce to you our newest soul that just arrived to heaven"

"Welcome to heaven homie, the name is Snoop Dogg also known as one of the 3 high gods" Snoop was the 1st to introduce himself.

(A/N: Literally a high god xD)

"Hi there Jack I'm sorry you had to die like that I'm Lady Death but you can just call me Death" said Death as she smiled softly at me and I must admit beautiful is an understatement to describe her.

"Hello there son my name is Morgan Freeman and just like Snoop here I'm also a high god" said Morgan Freeman as he was sitting there all dressed in white.

"Well guess it's my turn now. I'm Stan Lee the 3rd high god it's a pleasure to meet you son" spoke Stan Lee.

To say that these 3 guys are the gods that watch over the worlds wasn't shocking would be a lie. I joined them sitting right between Lucifer and Death as I munched and drank with them while sometimes join their chat. As we were chatting the sky suddenly turned dark and a portal opened up releasing winged people that were leaking a dark and ominous aura. As we all stood up Snoop was the 1st to speak.

"Dang it seems we got some party poopers from the Evil gods side"

"Jack quickly go hide somewhere while we split up to take care of our uninvited guests" said Lady Death.

I nodded my head and went to the denser side of the garden since the trees will provide cover against those flying humanoids. However that decision didn't seem to be the best since I still ended up in front of a fight between the angels and those dark angels. I stayed hidden from sight as I watched both sides killing each other. Swords, spears and other weapons all made from light and darkness clashed. While I was watching the fight go on a light sword fell near me, I decided to pick it up and keep it with me for self-defense since it's better than nothing.

(End of flashback)

While hiding behind a tree something suddenly fell 3 meters to my left, after the dust cleared I managed to see the figure of a male angel with 2 cuts that look like they hurt a lot. Landing infront of him was the dark angel he was fighting as it looked at him with a sneer. My heart started beating faster telling me to try and take the chance to stab it in the back and so I did. I managed to reach behind it and drove the sword right through its heart. However against my expectations it turned its head 180 degrees and looked me right in the eyes. I froze in fear since it didn't die yet and that was all it needed to grab me and release some of its darkness onto me. All I could think in my head that it burned like hell as I screamed while rolling on the ground my consciousness slowly faiding because of the pain. The last thing I saw was a bright light and hearing and an angry roar.
