8 six: What's wrong with her?

Lina woke up and saw she was sleeping on Das Ju's bed. She was sleepy yet that's why she didn't notice Dae Ju. She thought it was something beside her but when she looked at the thing carefully, she noticed it was Dae Ju's face. He also fell asleep while looking at her and went to his dreamland.

"Ah! I fall asleep!" she sat down and looked at him. He was sitting on the floor but leaning on his hand he fell asleep. His hand was kept on the bed. Seems like he willingly sat on the floor.

"Don't he feeling cold? The floor is quite cold!" she gets up from the bed and went to him to check if he was cold or not. She put her hand on his arm and noticed that he was too cold. She took a blanket and put it on him.

"Umh... It's warm...thank you!" he said in his sleep but Lina thought he was wake so she got embarrassed and said,

"If you are awake then go up and get some more sleep. I am going." she was going to leave but suddenly Dae Ju grabbed her hand tightly. Lina wanted to exceed her wrist but she couldn't as he was sleeping. She looked at him carefully and saw he was mumbling something while sleeping. She felt curious and sat down beside him to listen to what was he saying.

"Won't you miss me when I will be gone? I will miss you. I really miss you. I am a spy, you know? I am an idol too. You should love me, why you don't love me?" I miss my mom." It was the abbreviation of his mumbling. Lina listen to him and finds him cute and funny. She smiled at him thinking he was talking rubbish. But after listening to one word she got astonished. She felt like the sky has been broken on her head. She felt disappointed and took a long breath. She tried to exceeded her hard silently. But Dae Ju was still mumbling while grabbing her hand. But she doesn't feel curious anymore. She doesn't want to listen more. So, she sat down with an annoying face and sighed. She doesn't want him to wake up so she was waiting when he will leave her hand.

"Sleep as much as you want but leave my hand! Is it a pillow for you! Aish!" she said with her rage but Dae Ju was lost in his dream. As it was almost morning the weather got colder than before and Lina noticed that the window was open with very little space but the cold wind found the space and start coming from there. She started shivering out of the cold. Suddenly she noticed a black strings attached with his arm. Seems like he tied it tightly but somehow it got loosen. So, she pulled it up and tied it properly. She knows how to tied it since she saw it in Bangladesh. She wondered by seeing it here. But she could understand why he was wearing this. When she finished binding it on his hand, she pulled down his sleeves and looked at the window. It was snowing outside and there was quite cold.

Suddenly Dae Ju's sweet dream broke and he opened his eyes. He was still grabbing Lina's hand. But he was unaware of it. He felt something soft on his hand but couldn't understand what it was because he was still half-sleep. He was also cold so he looked another way and found Lina sitting near him.

"Oh! You woke up!" he said to her. She was looking at the window but when she heard his voice, she looked at him. She pulled her hand back. When Dae Ju felt the pressure he looked at his hand and saw he was grabbing her hand.

"Ah! I am sorry," he said and leave her hand. She stood up and looked at him like he did something very wrong. He smiled with a guilty face. He thought she was angry with him because he was holding her hand but it was not the matter. There was something that he had done a while ago but he was not aware of that.

Lina went away and closed the door with a very loud sound as if she will break it. Dae Ju got afraid but he couldn't understand anything. He sat like that silently and tried to understand what was going on. After a while, he went downstairs as he felt thirsty. He was hungry too as he just drank some coffee for dinner last night. But he was searching for water instead of food. He was stepping frontward very slowly. He was afraid of Lina by seeing her anger so he doesn't want to face her. He went to the fridge and opened it slowly. Then he checked around if there was someone behind him. But the place was blank. So, he felt relieved and took a water bottle from the fridge and opened its lid. He put the nozzle into his mouth and pour some water into his mouth. He looked beside him and saw a black colored shadow just behind him. He was so scared that he forgot to gulp the water and slowly he rotates his head backside. Lina was standing just beside him but he couldn't saw her clearly as it was dark. Suddenly almost all the water came out from his mouth and...

"What are you doing?" Lina screamed. Her whole face got wet and she felt disgusted. There remained a very little amount of water in his mouth and he gulped it slowly.

"How can you spit this on me! Ah! It's disgusting!" She immediately started wiping her face with her sleeves. Dae Ju couldn't admit what just happened. He blinked his eyes twice and took time to process his mind. He moved aside and the light of the fridge went on Lina's face. Now, he can see her face. She was wet. Her front side hair was wet too. He could understand what just happened.

"Ah! I am sorry! I didn't.....I mean, I didn't do that willingly....Ah! I am really sorry." he said aggressively. Lina looked at him angrily but she didn't say anything to him. She turned around and walked away from there.

"A....I am....Ah!" he felt angry upon himself but when he thinks about it, it wasn't his fault. It was her fault! Why she make that scary face? And stood behind him? She knows that he is afraid of the dark.

"Look how she makes that face! Like she didn't do anything!" he looks at the way where Lina was standing and make a face at her though she wasn't there. But when he realized he spit water on her face he felt guilty. He remembered about his past, once Tae Ri spits water on his face though it was his own fault. He tickled Tae Ri but didn't notice his mouth was full of water. He turned back to see who it was but he couldn't hold his laugh and spit all the water on his face. He felt so disgusted that he nearly threw up.

"I can feel it!" he said and continued drinking water again.

[Later two hours]

Both of them were sitting on the chair but today Lina took a chair far from him. Dae Ju still couldn't get what was going on but he tried to look at her again and again. He saw that she wasn't looking at him even for one time. She was eating quietly like she was in a royal banquet. Dae Ju felt curious but he couldn't ask anything to her. He sighed and looked at the food but he lost his appetite. He was just moving the food with a spoon slowly and thinking something very deeply. He looked at her but she was still in her position and nearly finished her food. After a while, she gets up and starts to arrange the dishes to take them to the kitchen for wash. But she acted like she was sitting there alone. Though she noticed that Dae Ju wasn't eating she didn't tell him anything and leave the dishes there and went away.

"She is dangerous! I never saw her like this!" he surprised. He leaves the food like that and stood up.

He went upstairs to change his clothes and get ready to go to the office. He took the watch and wear it on his wrist. He stood in front of the mirror to comb his hair. They have grown up and it was hard to spike them up. So, he combed them downside and covered his forehead. He noticed that he has some beards though he shaved them the previous day.

"There is so much work to do!" he said in his mind. He came downstairs and set his mind to get the jerk. He remembered about last night. He will find out today why he went there and what was he doing with the other punk. He was confident in himself but when he came downstairs he lost all his confidence by seeing one face. She finished cleaning the dishes and now she was also getting ready to go to her job. He needs to talk something with her but if she continued ignoring him, how can he talk with her?

So, he went to her but act like he was the coolest one.

"Oy," he called her. Lina was surprised and looked at him because he never called her like that. He was looking like those high schoolers who used to bully the kindest or newbie students. She looked at him with her large eyes.

"Why you came so late yesterday?" he asked like he was the king and she must answer him.

"I had many customers," she replied and looked another way. Suddenly Dae Ju remembered why he came so early last night. He looked at her neck to check if the locket was there or not. And as always, it was not there.

"Where is it?" he pointed at her neck and asked.

"What?" she couldn't get it and ask.

"That thing." he was acting cold though he was looking funny instead of cool.

"Which thing?" she looked with that big eyes.

"The thing I gave you." he doesn't know why he couldn't mention the necklace.

"Ah! That necklace? I gifted it someone else." she said and looked down.

"What? You gave it to someone?" he shouted and couldn't believe his ears. He could never imagine something like that! How much affection he put on the necklace! How can she give it to another!

"Yes," she looked another way.

"How could you do that? Do you know how costly it was!" he didn't say that it was precious for him. He makes an excuse that it was costly.

"How?" she thought it was fake and it wasn't that costly. But when she heard the real price, she was astonished.

"What? I thought it was a cheap one! Ah! How could I did that! What should I do now! I can take it back!" she was so worried and looked at him with pitiful eyes. She felt guilty so she moved her eyes to him and looked down.

"I am sorry! I shouldn't do that. I really thought it was cheap and I didn't want to take anything from you back then because I was really disappointed over you." she said slowly. Then he remembered about that night and he could understand so he kept silent.

"Ah! It's okay. I understand." he said but he remembered that Lina said she was with Yeon Hoon after that. So, that means she gave that to Yeon Hoon!

"Ah! Damn it!" he said in his mind. Lina has a question in her mind too but she couldn't ask him as she was upset with him. But to change the topic, she asked.

"Who is Seo Jin?"

"What?" Dae Ju couldn't understand first so he asked to be clear.

"Who is Seo Jin? You were mentioning her while sleeping. Is she your girlfriend or you feel love for her?" she asked and looked at him with disappointed eyes.
