8 five: Following a bad guy

They were sitting on a chair inside the restaurant while drinking coffee. Dae Ju took a sip and kept it on the table. His face was full of tension. Seems like he was thinking about something.

"Are they friend?" after staying quiet for some time, Dae Ju asked.

"I am not sure. But it could be." assuming the answer he replied.

"I just saw them in a car. They were going somewhere." Dae Ju said and took another sip of coffee.

"What? Then, why you didn't tell that earlier? Where are they heading to? Where you saw them?" he was aggressive when he heard about them.

"A while ago, I was following them and you caught me." Dae Ju answered.

"You were following a car? Ah! That's why you seem tired!" he can now guess what happened before he noticed Dae Ju. He was walking on the road and suddenly saw him breathing heavily. So, he went to him and poked him. But, he never could imagine that he was following them.

"Aish! You should have told me that sooner! Where did they go? Tell me. I will find them." he stood up and hurried.

"How could I know you were looking for them!" Dae Ju also stood up. He couldn't finish his coffee but Mr. Park already finished his one. He took his phone to the table when he took the seat. So, he was gonna take his phone but Mr. Park was in a hurry and as he needs him, he turned back and looked at Dae Ju.

"Hey! Hurry up!" he put the bill on the table and rushed outside. Dae Ju followed him though he didn't know where they were heading to.

"Okay, you were here when I met you and you were looking at that way, right?" Mr. Park came to that road where they met a while ago. He starts his job as soon as they reached there.

"Yes, the car went on that way." Dae Ju pointed on the road and said. He tried to follow the car but he failed because he couldn't run as fast as the car.

"Okay, let's go!" Mr. Park said and took the path where they came from.

"Where? Hey! Why I have to go with you? I should go home now!" Dae Ju was surprised and he remembered that he should go home because it's late. And maybe Lina was waiting for him but before he makes an excuse, detective Park looked at him with his scary eyes and Dae Ju got afraid and he couldn't say anything else.

"Just come with me." Mr. Park said with his cold voice. Dae Ju silently followed him. They were walking. Mr. Park knows where he was going but Dae Ju didn't know where he was going. He forgot about the necklace for which he went home early but looks like he was gonna be late today and not a little late.

"Um.....Where are we going?" he asked and closed his eyes as he knows he is gonna get scolded. As detective Park was walking fast, he couldn't hear what Dae Ju asked, he was just thinking about those guys. They reached near a cyber station. Dae Ju never came here before. It was not a that huge place. But there was a lot of stuff kept here and there. The place was not neat enough. Seems like the guy who was sitting in front of the computer didn't get a chance to clean the trash.

"Yo! What's up! It's been a long! Why you came here?" the boy like man asked Mr. park. Seems like they were close with each other.

"Yes, it's been a long! I didn't have come to you but I need something now." Mr. Park said and took a chair which was kept on another side of the computer table. The boy looked at Dae Ju. He has small eyes but his glasses make them look like big eyes. He has a small nose and his cheeks were quite fluffy. He was biting his lips so Dae Ju couldn't notice his lips well. He has a pale skin color and black hair. He was wearing a yellow colored jacket or overcoat. He has quite sharp eyes and maybe he could tell about someone by just looking at them.

"Who is he? I never saw him before!" pointing at Dae Ju he asked detective Park.

"You can say he is my client." he leaned on the chair and said. This time Dae Ju didn't go against him because he was busy in scanning the whole place.

"I need some footage of Gangnam street." Mr. Park was quite confident while saying that.

"What? Gangnam? Then you came to the wrong person! I am not in charge of Gangnam! I am just showing you the footage of Itaewon!" he was aggressive while talking.

"No! I didn't mean that! The footage of that road which is heading to Gangnam!" now he could able to make him understand.

"Ah! Wait a minute! But, from which time?" he asked and looked at the computer screen. The glass was reflecting the screen and Dae Ju could see what he was doing on the computer screen. The detective told him about the time and he opened a file which they wanted.

"Look at this if you are asking for it or not." he rotates the computer and shows it to Mr. Park. Mr. Park takes a look at the footage.

"Hey! Come and look at it. Is this the car?" Dae Ju bends down a little. He was standing just beside Mr. Park. As the computer was kept lower than him, he had to bend a little. He took a look at the clip. There was a white car that was moving forward. He remembered about the car in which he saw his chairman. It was the same car.

"Yes! It is the same car!" Dae Ju said and looked at Mr. Park.

"Let's take a look at where they heading to!" Mr. Park gives a victorious smile and said. The car was moving without stopping. Within a few moments, it vanished from the footage.

"Is there any other CCTV? I need to check where the car stopped." Mr. Park said to the boy.

"Ah! You need the car? Okay, leave it on me." he was quite confident upon himself. After a while, he showed another clip from somewhere else. It was not looking like a holy place. It was shabby but Dae Ju couldn't say where it was.

"It's middle of Gangnam city," he said. Both of them looked at the clip.

"It is from today?" Mr. Park asked.

"Excuse me, Mr! It's a live show." he smiled proudly.

"Really? You said you are not in charge of Gangnam! Then how could you..." he stopped.

"There is nothing I could do." the boy smiled again. He looks cute when he smiled. Dae Ju holds his laugh and looked at the screen. The white car stopped near a toy shop.

"Toy? Did they went to buy toys because they are cheap there?" Dae Ju was surprised.

"Aish! Do you have a brain or you lost it somewhere! Why they would go near to buy toys!" Mr. Park has a strong disagreement with Dae Ju.

As Dae Ju assumed, His chairman came out from the car and closed the door. And within a few seconds, the weird guy came out of the car. As he was driving the car, he came out from the first seat.

"Oh! It's Seung Mang! I searched for him. He was on our criminal list. He is Chinese but he came to Korea when he was 18. He worked for Johnnie for a long time and he became his one of the favorite person. Whenever police tried to catch him, Johnnie always helps him and save him whenever he needs." Mr. Park said.

"Ah! His name is Seung Mang!" Dae Ju said with a low voice.

"What? You didn't know his name? You said you had been worked with him!" Mr. Park was surprised and looked at Dae Ju.

"Ah! I knew! But, I forgot his name." Dae Ju smiled awkwardly.

"Aish!" Detective Park looked at the screen again. Both of them came together and walked to the shop. As the CCTV was hanging over the toyshop, it couldn't catch all the scenery. So, when they came very close to the shop, their faces were not visible anymore. In the meantime, another guy came out of the shop but his face couldn't be seen.

"Who is this person?" Dae Ju tried to look carefully to recognize but he couldn't.

"Maybe I don't know him." Dae Ju said again.

"Shh....Let me focus!" he got annoyed by Dae Ju again but this time he didn't look at him.

"Why don't we go and catch them?" Dae Ju asked. He felt like he is a genius.

"Oh! Really! Yeah, we should go there!" Mr. Park was angry and said mockingly.

"But do you think they will stay there until we reach? And why we will arrest them? Do you have any proof of what they did? Do you have any approvement to catch them?" he looked at Dae Ju now and seems like he was gonna kill him with his eyes.

"Ah! I am sorry! I didn't know about these." now he feels like he is stupid.

"Let's see what they do. And please be quiet." he almost begged to Dae Ju and continued looking at the screen.

The three of them went inside the shop and as the CCTV was filming only the road, it couldn't catch what was going inside.

"What is the name of the shop?" As they couldn't say the name, detective Park asked to the boy.

"Kids heaven" replied the boy in shortly.

"Okay, we should visit the toy shop tomorrow. Get ready for tomorrow. We will visit the shop tomorrow." the detective said to Dae Ju and stood up.

"Thank you! I will come back again if I need something." Mr. Park smiled and turn around. Then he went outside and Dae Ju followed him. Dae Ju was thinking something and when he came outside, he said

"Wait! Why I will go with you? You should take your assistant for that! Don't you think it will be suspicious if I don't go to the office? What if the chairman kept an eye on me?" he said.

"Ah! But we need you. Okay, I will go there alone. You should better stay beside the chairman and if you find something suspicious then contact me. Don't use your phone to contact me." they were standing on the road.

"Then? How can I contact you?" he surprised.

"Take this. Use it when you need it. I repeat when you need it." he said and put off his watch and give it to Dae Ju.

"Ah! Smartwatch! I have wanted it for a long time! Oh! It's the new model!" he become happy by seeing it.

"Use it carefully. It's not just a watch. It's a tool for detectives. You can capture whatever you want with it. So, when you think there is something wrong happening, capture the moment with it." he started walking. Dae Ju was going to ask him something else but before he opened his mouth, detective Park noticed that he was still following him and said,

"Your job is finished. You can go home now." he stopped when he said that then he continued walking again.

"Thank you!" he was so excited that his voice was like a lady when he thanked the detective. He forgot about everything and started to look at the functions of the watch. He wore it in his hand and make a cool move.

"Whoah! How cool it looks on me!" he was happy and took the path which leads to his home.

When he came home it's already 1 am of night and the door has been locked. But he has the key so he opened the door and went inside. He searched for Lina but she was nowhere.

"Didn't she come home yet?" he became worried. He closed the door and start searching for her everywhere but he couldn't find her. He went upstairs by thinking she might be there. When he came to his room he heard some sounds coming from inside. He went inside and saw Lina. She was sleeping. Looks like she was very tired but she was watching something on her mobile phone. And the sound was coming from the mobile. He took the phone and saw it was the new performance video of *Savage Kids*

"Okay, you have to do this, right? Aish! Yeon Hoon is showing his abs! Ah! Disgusting! Why they wore these types of clothes?" he mumbled in his mind and looked at Lina with rage full eyes. But when he looked at her, all his anger went away. He felt happy. He kept the phone beside her and sat down on the floor. He touches her soft and warm hand and looked at her face and leaned on the bed.

"Indeed, you are an angel!" he said in his mind and closed his eyes.
