DROWN IN HELL

"With you, the red light will eventually turn green" ===== As she looked into his eyes, those deep dark irises, eyes that seemed to look into her very soul. That smirk that screamed 'danger'. She shuddered, feeling cold sweat drench her shirt "What's wrong?" his magnetic voice sounded with almost inhuman dexterity, he held her by the waist. "Stay-stay back, don't touch me!" her voice was shaking, almost breaking into a shout, but was actually a whimper. She slipped into his arms, heart pounding, eyes darting. Feeling complicated, a mixture of reluctance and pleasure. His chiseled face leaned into her hair, noise sniffing greedily. Her hair stood on end with nervousness, seeing the sharp fangs at the edges of his reddish pink lips. "Now you can be mine forever" 'No' she thought, but couldn't bring herself to speak. She gradually closed her eyes in despair. "I won't kill you, you're to beautiful for that" seeing her disposition, the man was amused. Vera opened her eyes in bewilderment and confusion. Mustering her courage and will, she managed yo squeeze out one word. "Why?" Her imagination ran wild, doubts began to form and dissipate at astonishing speeds. She hated when she wasn't aware of the situation. Soon her fear became anger, and anger gave way to rage. "So you kidnapped me and made me feel like a piece of shit for nothing?" The man smiled widely, and her fear returned. {CREDIT TO THE OWNER OF THE COVER From Pinterest}∆∆

The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting ray of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky, making the sky ablaze with the fire of the setting sun.

A car arrived inside vera's apartment. She came out with a various bags filled with different dresses of different types. Some of the other bags were filled with foodstuffs and groceries she bought at the supermarket.

She walked into her house, after the car dropped her off and left, keeping the bags in the kitchen table, while taking the other bag up to her room. After going to numerous places that really exhausted and drained all her energy, even if she was not the one doing the job but staying inside a car for hours made her body ache but she looked total different from before. Her hair now looks perfectly done and her nails were well manicured and her skin looked well taken care of. She walked to the full size mirror that scrutinize her clothes and her entire body. Smooth, glistening, reflecting the image of nothing more then her- her face, body, clothes, shoes. It meticulously captured each and every single detail of her. She gasped and admired herself.

"You look so different vera" She gasped, talking to her reflected self on the mirror. She fixed the loose strand of her hair, taking a walk to the balcony. Sitting on a chair, looking at the perfect view of the dim sun that reveals only its shadow in the thick cloud, she breathed in deeply, inhaling the nature breeze while closing her eyes. Tomorrow, a do or die mission! Is she really going to do this. She was deeply troubled. Her heart was thumping widely, making her clench her chest trying to calm down and ease the fear. Her mind was speaking another thing but her body is strangely doubting the mind speak.

The cool breeze brushed her face, that lure her into closing her eyes again and in the next minute, she was tempted and took off into a nervous slumber.

In the cold and silent time of the night, a lady was sobbing softly, under her thick bedsheets. The door creaked open slowly, as diva walked inside with a slow step. She climbed on top of the bed, crawled to her faced direction before hugging her slightly trembling body.

"It's okay amanda...it's okay" Diva convinced her, patting her back in reassurance.

Amanda who heard her voice, broke down into tears, the tears of pain that was loud enough for anyone passing through the hallway to hear. It was until 15 minutes when she stopped crying because she drained all the tears away. She removed the thick bedsheets covering her whole body and leaned on the head board with her face above her knee and her hands tightly covering it.

"Water..." she spoke in a sour mild voice, barely audible. Diva rushed out of her room, coming in with a glass of water. Due to her lost strength, she used her both hands to grab the water and gulped it to her satisfaction, giving her the empty glass and thanked her.

"Am really losing him...I have tried everything possible but I am losing him" she sounded at the verge of breaking down again.

"Oh amanda..." Diva crawled back to the bed and sat close to her.

"He's not the only man out there. They are so many jackpots not just scott" Diva said, trying to convince her.

"I know diva but please understand this...the love is far greater than just leaving him which is where my problem lies. I am deeply rooted to that man diva" she looked into her eyes trying to make her understand her heart better.

"When did you fall into this kind of love amanda. Why fall into something you know is difficult to get" Diva said, sounding with a mixed feeling.

"But I am his fiancée..."

"'Was' amanda. You was his contracted fiancée that cheated behind his back" Diva corrected her, trying to make her recollect that fact.

"I didn't mean to cheat!" Amanda spoke firmly, with a clenched fist.

"But you did it and he figured out even before you knew, since." Diva replied with a cold face.

"I did it because you asked me to, diva" Amanda said, looking at her irritably.

"But I didn't ask you to sleep with him for your pleasure. You over stepped your boundaries" Diva retorted, with a half smile.

"Oh really...weren't you who told me to use what I have to get what I want, huh?" Amanda spoke fiercely, throwing her a disdainful eyes.

"You really amaze me amanda. You had so many things like money, material things, and power but you choose your body for the work. Whose fault is it"

"You bitch..." Amanda slapped her hard, causing her head to bump hard on the headboard. She climbed down the bed angrily, rushing out until diva spoke.

"They are so many ways to tame a lion but you tamed a beast thinking they are the same" She paused, getting down from the bed and walked 6 feet away from her.

"Tame the lion with what you have this time because sometimes, the heart fails us and we have to follow the mind" She paused again.

"They are so many ways to catch a rat, especially when you know something is up..." She walked closer to her, looking suspicious.

"You have tomorrow to drive that and this time, tame before taking" Diva concluded with a smile and walked out of the room.

The night sky was aglow with bright city lights. The pale crescent moon shines like a silver claw in the night sky.

The occasional barking of the faraway dogs broke the silence of the night as vera woke up with a groan.

"It's night already" she said, looked at her phone before standing up. She walked into the room and kissed her body on the bed, drifting into round two of sleep.
