DROWN IN HELL

"With you, the red light will eventually turn green" ===== As she looked into his eyes, those deep dark irises, eyes that seemed to look into her very soul. That smirk that screamed 'danger'. She shuddered, feeling cold sweat drench her shirt "What's wrong?" his magnetic voice sounded with almost inhuman dexterity, he held her by the waist. "Stay-stay back, don't touch me!" her voice was shaking, almost breaking into a shout, but was actually a whimper. She slipped into his arms, heart pounding, eyes darting. Feeling complicated, a mixture of reluctance and pleasure. His chiseled face leaned into her hair, noise sniffing greedily. Her hair stood on end with nervousness, seeing the sharp fangs at the edges of his reddish pink lips. "Now you can be mine forever" 'No' she thought, but couldn't bring herself to speak. She gradually closed her eyes in despair. "I won't kill you, you're to beautiful for that" seeing her disposition, the man was amused. Vera opened her eyes in bewilderment and confusion. Mustering her courage and will, she managed yo squeeze out one word. "Why?" Her imagination ran wild, doubts began to form and dissipate at astonishing speeds. She hated when she wasn't aware of the situation. Soon her fear became anger, and anger gave way to rage. "So you kidnapped me and made me feel like a piece of shit for nothing?" The man smiled widely, and her fear returned. {CREDIT TO THE OWNER OF THE COVER From Pinterest}∆∆

Knew it

"...This is totally absurd!" vera said perplexed. How would a mother hand over their child, just because of a stupid contract deal she had sealed which is still not void.

"Is it?" she asked, with her head tilted to her right side, giving her a questioning look.

"If a mother can be able to fake a marriage with their spouse, how then would it be impossible to grace us their child, if no love is shared among the both" she asked.

"You and I know that the heir is very important to them in terms of running their company after them, so that their lineage wouldn't be..." Her hands flew to her mouth with a widened eyes. She clearly understood why she had to do this.

"Y-you want to terminate every possibility of their name raised in the business world, and clearly kick them out by chance, if he couldn't bear an heir and the next of kin" vera said in a slight whisper. It all made sense, everything made clear sense to her now. This woman is a demon in human form.

Meanwhile, Angie began clapping her hands at the quick analysis made by vera. She wanted her to figure it herself and fortunately, she did.

"Nice...nice vee. You are a genius!" She exclaimed happily and stood up, walking to her, still clapping, before she stood at her front and stopped.

"I never knew I was still dealing with the Fetcher's favorite daughter. My bad" she placed her hand on her chest and shaked her head sarcastically.

"Then what will happen to me?" Now that she remembered, if everything goes as planned, and something bad has to come up, if they had realized she gave out their prince to her, she would be as gone as good.

"Don't worry. The plan would go just well" she said in reassurance gaining a sigh and a 'what if..' from vera.

"If they could be a high risk of failure if...he gets to realize what I have done" vera asked curiously.

"Then your mission would be over and the contract would be null" she replied, with a shrugged shoulder.

"What about me? What will happen to me there after" vera asked again.

"You will go back leaving your normal life of course" she replied with a scowl on her face.

"How will I leave a normal life when my name would be on the mouth of the gossip mongers" vera interjected harshly, with a furrowed brow.

"It depends on how you manage to handle the situation" she replied coldly.

"How?" vera furiously asked.

"You are a genius remember. Why would you need to get help from me, if you can't genius-recollect your brain, into forming a solid information that could lure you out of the mess" she said rather harsh.

"And now that I remembered, what will be my gain after all this" she had being meaning to ask, and an Idea popped in.

"Will-will you give him back...to...to me" vera asked in a sober voice, although she tried to fight the tears that threatened to fall down.

"Oh yes! After our deal is completed" she said without doubt.

She smiled and her eyes turned bright once again "Can I see him?" vera asked with a pitiful tone.

"No!" she replied firmly, with no warmth in her voice.

"That's after a deal is being dealt with" she added viciously.

"Our meeting has ended. See you at the grand party" she said before moving towards the door, opening it, directing her palm outside with indicates she should leave. Vera hissed, walked towards the door and gave her a 'Take care of him' kind of look before leaving. Although, she knew that what she interpreted in her mind to her were just absolute nonsense to her, but rather, she choose to show her and quickly left.

After vera left the study, Angie walked towards her desk, picked up her phone and dialed a number. When the call got connected to the caller, she spoke.

"Watch him closely" she said before hanging up.

***

Dark tree trunks, shadows, overhanging limbs across the part seen at the last second, clumps of bushes, barely visible black trails shaking through the undergrowth, moon shining through a lattice of leaves, patchy sky and stars seen in the glimpses through the tree breaks, tall shadowed pines stretching up like arrows into the sky, streaks of cloud against the moon.

Were it not for the bright moon in the night sky, it wouldn't be possible for a human to come out at this time of the night, to have themselves lost in this dusky forest.

As the wind slipping through leaves, cracking undergrowth with each step, creaking tree trunks, broke the silence between two men, both wearing a black cloak that barely made their faces show.

"It's been a long time brother. Do you miss me" The man in black cloak teased, walking closer but far to keep a limited distance between them.

"Father sent me to say hi to you" Though his voice sounded genuine, they was a slight irritation in between his deep voice.

"What do you want, diego" The other man's voice sounded both firm, cold and heartless. He got a sigh in response from the man named Diego.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, I would have known that the fire princess hasn't been found yet, to melt the frozen prince cold heart" Diego grumbled, nodding his head in his analysis.

"How is mother?" he asked, still avoiding his childish game.

"Mother is fine. She asks of you and sends her love" Diego replied with a sudden feeling of unfairness from his brother.

"What about me? You didn't--"

"The portal opens once in a blue moon. What information have you gathered" he interrupted, still keeping a solid face, turning expressionlessly cold and deadly serious.

"Sigh... I told your father not to send me to talk with this cold moron" he muttered under his breath.

"From my theorem, the blue moon takes about 29.5 days to complete on cycle of phases..."
