Bloodlust

Wei Yuan woke up early in the morning and yawned. His cultivation moved forward a very little bit during his sleep. This is his new hobby nowadays. Wei Yuan doesn't need to sat down and cultivate. He does that simply with breathing. Thus, he is cultivating during his sleep. He likes to watch how much he progressed after every sleep. Of course it's always just a very little progress.

Wei Yuan stood up and walked out. It was time to go shopping. He paid a few spirit stones to the administrator as a thank you gift then walked away. He wanted to buy new sword techniques and improve his own technique with that, but he knew that higher grade techniques were very expensive and he probably can't afford them.

He walked on the streets as if he didn't know where he was going. He just wanted to enjoy the lively city for a while. Someone who lived almost his whole life in bed appreciated every scenery way more than others. He was a cripple who always stayed with the family. Never got the chance to go and explore the world.

He walked on the stone streets and spotted a little shop. It was a wine shop. Wei Yuan never tried wine before and became interested. He wanted to taste the so called alcohol. Thus, he entered the wine shop.

Wei Yuan walked inside and he found a lot of people. A few of them was drunk, even a few girls. He walked and stopped before the vendor of the shop. Everyone felt the atmosphere becoming heavier. It was not the strength of his cultivation this time, but his mere presence. Wei Yuan was a very unrestrained person. He would even pay a visit to the emperor of the Xun continent if he were curious enough.

The vendor looked at him and tilted his head to the side.

"How can I help you sir?"

"I need one from every type of wine here."

"Are you sure sir? A few of our wines are quite expensive. I recommend you to check the price list first." Said the vendor and gave him two piece of papers.

Wei Yuan glanced at the price list and indeed, the vendor was right. A few of these wines were extremely expensive. Wei Yuan looked around again and noticed that it was not just a simple wine shop. Everyone here wore expensive robes and drank the wine with good manner. It was a place for the rich.

Wei Yuan still wanted almost every wine except the most expensive ones. He took the wines and put it inside his storage ring. He walked out of the shop with emotionless face and continued his shopping spree. Everyone inside the wine shop took a big breath after he left. A few weaker even started sweating.

In the end Wei Yuan found nothing. He looked around the city all day, but everything was expensive or bad quality. Expensive was okay, but he still needed spirit stones to cultivate. It was time to leave the city.

Wei Yuan walked out of the city and ran towards the wastelands. He can reach it in a few hours, but that's still a lot. He decided to get a good flying pet somehow. He can't run everywhere after all. Actually he can get a flying mount from the Wei family, but he can't go there currently since he doesn't have that much time left.

Hours slowly passed away and Wei Yuan succesfully reached the wastelands. It was a lifeless territory with unusual weather. Not many creature can live here, since it was void of plants and water. Only a beasts with a cultivation base can live here. Thus, many cultivator visited the wastelands in order to collect beast cores.

The bones and skins of a beast also worth something and stronger hunters often came here to kill the weaker beasts. It was very dangerous for them because a stronger cultivator can kill them anytime and steal everything.

Wei Yuan comfortably walked on the wastelands as if it was some kind of interesting place. The truth was that the evil Qi was very strong here and Wei Yuan liked this. Probably a few weaker evil cultivator often came here and absorbed some evil energy.

Wei Yuan walked around aimlessly and finally found a group of cultivators. They currently fought with a big snake like beast. This beast looked intimidating, but it was not that strong. Only around Foundation Establishment stage. The cultivators were also on Foundation Establishment stage. They easily killed the snake and wanted to walk away, but Wei Yuan approached them.

The group became wary. One of them even grabbed the handle of his sword. Wei Yuan got closer and closer and reached them in a few seconds.

"Relax, I don't want to fight. I only need some information. Can someone tell me where can I find a lot of beasts?"

The leader of the group stepped forward.

"I can help, That valley there is where you can find most of the beasts, but I don't recommend that place. There are a lot of cultivators fighting there. The surrounding area is way safer."

"Thank you for the information."

Wei Yuan walked away and the group stood behind motionless. One of the guys suddenly shouted after Wei Yuan walked away.

"Hey leader what are you doing? We need to rob him."

"No, this guy is not someone we can just rob. Let's escape."

The other members saw that their leader is sweating. That was quite rare. He also said something like let's escape? Their leader was brave, yet he still said this. Everyone understood that staying here was thousand percent dangerous.

The others didn't know, but their leader currently wanted to run away as far as possible. He sensed undescribable bloodlust and pressure from Wei Yuan.

Wei Yuan succesfully found the valley after a few minutes. He also came here to hunt. Came here to hunt... cultivators!
