It really is 'fate.' From the start, she was always a weak person. However, after meeting Kiryu, even that weakness of hers changed into strength. It's because of Kiryu because all this time he stood by her that she could overcome any obstacle that fell on her path. The reason she could love and treasure others is because of the love he gave her.

By now the two of them should have met each other. Asuka opened her eyes and got up. She walked over to the balcony that overlooked the town. As of late, they have only allowed her to stay at home. It's not like Hisame to restrict her so much, so she can guess who did this.

That idiot. He has no shame at all. However, he's the person she's in love with. She still doesn't know how to go about divorcing Hisame, and when she does Asuka knew she has to tell those two the truth. Kiryu's a smart boy, so he's probably picked up on it already. He's probably just waiting for her confirmation.

It's Akari that she's worried about, that girl will blame herself even further. That's why until now she hasn't dared to tell the children the truth. But they are both grown up now. They are both searching for their path and working towards their goal more earnestly than before. Unlike when they were both confused and just wandering, the two have grown a lot stronger. The reason being, not because of anything she did for them but because of that girl.

Seeing that stage, it reminded her of the past. No, that girl differs from her mother. It's different from the miracle Sumire created before. Lila-chan is different, so she doesn't know how this will end up.

Asuka wondered, what sort of future those two will create?

Will they be able to overcome this obstacle?

Or will it break them?

This test, as cruel as it may be has to happen.

"I thought you'd become less of a crybaby. But, it's impossible, eh?"

Lila nodded at his words, "Ah-huh, impossible. I cry every day."

Even though she was just answering his question, Kiryu felt a sudden swell of pain in his heart... Crying every day. He doesn't want to imagine that, but the image is hard to erase. Her eyes look more swollen than before, showing what she said is true. Lila, she must really have been suffering without him. The moment they got inside, she laid in his arms on the couch. It's fine; there is still time.

For the next few minutes, all Lila did was snuggle up against him, before she suddenly exclaimed, "Kiryu, take a bath!"

Kiryu chuckled, knowingly. "...Pfft, why?"

"You smell like another girl!! Wahh, dummy, dummy. Getting a female assistant. I don't like it. What are you two doing together every day?"

"Nothing fun, "he murmured against her ear as he bites it slightly.

Seeing Lilas face slowly alter between brighter shades of red, he chuckled. Beautiful...

She looked so much more mature than before. Kiryu understood that this a growth period for hanyou females. But only two weeks and a bit have passed. How come she has become this mature looking in a short amount of time? Even when she's beet red, there's an aura of elegance around her.

"Wah, um, um, um! This is bad for my heart," Lila exclaimed as she shyly tried to hide her face with her hands. But he quickly removed it, as he laughed softly against her hair.

"My Lila, you're really something you know?"

She hides her face in his arms for a while before looking up; she extended her hand out to touch him.

"My Kiryu, did you miss me?" Lila asked.

"So much. You worried me too, couldn't you have dropped a hint where you went?"

Lila is quick to apologize, "I'm sorry, Soichiro told me not too."

"Well, I understand why."

If he found out about their meeting tonight, then he would surely have stopped her. Thankfully she got away.

"So, I'm not worried about Mr low eq. What's been going on with Karashima, since the last time we spoke? Preferably the last few days."

"Kiryu, I'm sorry!!! We were kissing and um, um, he kind of touched my breasts, and I made strange sounds... and um.." The rest of Lilas words become lost to him, as he pondered on what he just heard.

... That guy is becoming way too bold. It won't be long before he tries to claim Lila. He has to stabilize his situation soon, so they can grant him the chance to see her often.

After a while, Kiryu spoke up, "Better than me?"

Lilas face color was now redder than a tomato, as she replied, "D—dummy, that's a stupid question. An—anyway, I will get a drink."

Kiryu watched as she scrambled off and ran his hand through his silver locks; she really is something. His gaze fell on her phone and spotted the charm. Though she used that before, it wasn't in a visible place; now it is. He wondered, exactly how close did she get with Karashima?
