Chapter 19: Secret Encounter with a Witch

“About what?” Elliot asked as he boarded the bus behind Julietta.

“The wolf,” Julietta responded. “Do you perhaps know something about it that I don’t?” she asked in a low tone of voice as she searched for an empty seat.

“I mean, weren’t you still suspicious about whether the wolf was real or not?” Elliot asked.

“Yes, but I feel that it’s real,” Julietta responded. “It’s just that I experienced something different yesterday,” she added.

“So, I’m going with you so that we can sort out your doubts,” Elliot mentioned in a low tone of voice. “It can only help if you have more heads together.”

Julietta couldn’t understand why Elliot was so intrigued with her visits to the lake as well.

“Alright, then,” she commented. “I see that you are fully committed towards this.”

“I just want to help,” Elliot replied.

“Well, we will have to contact Emile first and find out where he is, but I want to be done early,” Julietta commented. “I have to get home and help my Mom.”
