5 Becoming an adventurer

After striding for half an hour, they both stopped in front of an inn named "Rose & Fire inn". At the sight of the name, Void was dumbfounded, "there are names like this for motels? Wow! Its amazing that I haven't spat blood yet!" As he was thinking about the name, Aisha who was obvious to what he was thinking said excitedly, "this is the place I told you about! This is really a great inn and you would really love it here!". When Void heard this, he was dumbfounded once again as he spoke with shock inwardly, 'Eh!? I only asked you to suggest me a place to stay! Not like I'm buying you a diamond neckless for you to speak with that 200 Watts smile and brightness in your face! Stop it! Its way too bright!". Not knowing what he was thinking she asked him nervously, "what's wrong? You don't like this place?" He returned to the reality after she spoke to him, "ah, no no no that's not it, you got me wrong. I was thinking about what I should do after booking for a room to stay in" he said that with a smile on his face, not that she could see him smile as the bottom half of his face is covered by cloth, she could only guess that he was smiling by seeing his eyes.

"Shall we go in and get you all set?" She asked him. "Yea sure, I'm hungry anyway, so after booking I'm going to get a nice meal to eat!" He said that as his stomach let out a "gulu gulu" sound he was extremely embarrassed that he wanted to bury himself in a hole. When she heard his stomach make sound she giggled and said, "hahaha, yes me too. After all that happened I also got a bit hungry" after she said that a "gulu gulu" sound followed and it was her turn to be embarrassed. He let out a laugh and both of then went in.

Before they could enter, what greeted them was a pathetic looking man dashing out of the inn who ran past them, followed by a frying pan which came flying right at the face of Void. He was caught off guard and with a "ta" sound the pan landed right in his face without leaving him time to react and he fell on the ground unconscious. When Aisha saw this she shouted at the lady near the counter who threw the pan at him, "Mama Mia! What the hell did you do that for! i brought him here when he said he was looking for a place to stay! Not a place to get hit by a frying pan!" She was clearly shocked with what just happened and got a bit angry at the sight of the guy who saved her and showed her good will getting hit by a frying pan like a cockroach. "Oh my! I'm so sorry Miss Aisha! I didn't mean to hit your boyfriend like that, I only aimed at that vermin who didn't pay for his meal! I'm really sorry to do this to your boyfriend!" She immediately bowed before her and Aisha, who heard completely lost her mind when she heard the boyfriend part, "wha...wha.... WHAT ARE YOU SAYING MAMA MIA! HE'S...HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND! just a guy who saved me in the forest of half heart! Nothing else!" And she started to mumble, "he is not like my boyfriend at all! Well, he is a good guy with morality which is rarely seen in men, but still I don't know if he likes me or not? Wait! Why the heck am I worried about that!? Its not that I like him! Maybe a little? No its not!" And her imagination horse got lose, again. "Ah Aisha, i love you! Please stay with me till the end of time!" She imagined him proposing to her on a cliff with a scene of the sun setting. Then comes the hotel scene, "wait! This... This is my first time....... So please be gentle~" and he replied, "I'll make you never for get" and the next scene came along. (Author: imagine the rest yourself if you want. :P)

When she was in her imaginative world, doing R+18 stuff with him, both of the people in the inn are looking at her weird facial expressions, "Mom, Sis Aisha is acting a bit weird! Is anything wrong with her? Should I go call a doctor or a priest?" Asked the girl standing besides the inn owner Mama Mia with a mop in her hand. "Well....... I think its better to first bring her back to reality and wake him up" after saying that she went near Aisha, who was still nearing climax in her imaginary world and said, "Miss Aisha! Come back to reality!" She shook her shoulders as she said to her. Aisha, who was letting her thoughts run wild, jolted back to reality, "ah... Mama Mia, what happened?" it clearly showed that she was lost in her imagination. "Your.....friend here, we need to wake him up, so we need you here in reality for while if you don't mind" when she heard this she was completely embarrassed that she wants to kill herself. "Yea, I'm sorry for losing my composure, I'll wake him up right now" after saying this, Aisha, casted a spell, "waterball!"

Waterball : apprentice level water spell

Effect : creates a Waterball out of thin air.

When the Waterball took form, she directed it to his face and splashed it, with a bit force. When the Waterball hit him, he jolted awake, "what the fuck just happened!? Who hit me!?" He shouted and came to his senses again and looked at the two women in front of him and Aisha who was at his side, "I'm really sorry Mister..... ". "Void, my name is Void and was it you that hit me with a pan?" He asked the lady who tried to apologize to him and assumed that she must be the one who tried to hit him, "yes unfortunately, im deeply sorry for what just happened! I didn't aim for you, you just came in middle when I threw the pan at someone else" "I really apologize for what just happened!" She immediately bowed before him in an apologetic manner. When he saw this he finally understood what happened and let it go and said to her, "its alright, its my fault to come in middle of the line of fire without being on guard, you dont have to apologize anymore" he said that with a smile and asked her, "oh yea, by the imI'm looking for a place to stay for a while and my friend here, said that this place meets my requirements and brought me here and I also thought of booking a room here. Do you have any room free to stay?" After hearing this the inn owner's eyes lit up, "yes of course we do! And what kind of requirements do you need? Let me tell you ahead that we dont provide special services!" She said that sternly and thought he might rebutt and leave, but she was surprised with his answer, "no I dont need special services or what so ever, I only need a place with low price and good meal with some peacefulness, that's all, you dont need to do anything" he shrugged it off with a smile on his face.

"Well of thats the case, you came to the right place! Come on i'll get you all set and would you like your meal after booking? Its already night" she said that as she looked outside the window which was a bit dark and street lamps lit. "Yes sure, im hungry anyway" he said that as he lowered the cloth covering his bottom half of his face and the hood. When the two young girls saw his face, their eyes lit up! His face can be considered pretty handsome and with that smile on his face, he's enough to make the average girls fall for him, "wow! Mister Void! You look really handsome!" Said the girl in front of him. "Ah, thank you for your compliment, but there are many handsome figures in this world and I can't even compete with them, I can only be considered as an average" he said that with waving his hand to tell her not to embarrass him anymore. Aisha, who was on his side got her face flushed completely, "I never imagined him to be this good looking! I only know that he looks good but not this good!" She said that to herself inwardly. "Alright let's go and get done with the booking" she saif that with a smile on her face.

"Yea sure" replied Void.

The three of them walked to the counter where the inn owner Mama Mia took a giant book and placed in front of him , "how long do you want to stay here? Would you like your meal to be sent to your room?" She asked him these with a smile on her face. 'Wow, she's not bad looking either" he thought and said, "I would like to stay here for a week and for food, no I will come down and eat it in the hall and i'll pay for it". "Yes sure, please fill up these information and pay 3 silver coins and 5 copper coins for the rent" she said as she passed him the giant book. He took 4 silver coins from his pouch and gave her. She got the coins and returned the balance 5 copper coins and he started to fill the information of the youth. After finished fill up his info he asked her, "can we get dinner? We both are a bit hungry". "Yes! Right away please wait there in the hall till I bring you the meal, Elena, lead them to a table" she said to the girl near them, "right away mom! If you two would, come this way" said the girl named Elena who looked on par in both beauty and age with Aisha or maybe a little behind Aisha. She led them both to an empty table and soon after, a delicious looking meal arrived. Before he can even pay the inn owner stopped him and said, "This is on the house. After all, I did hit you with a pan even if its accidental" she said with an apologetic tone. "Ah, its no big deal, I never held it myself, you dont need to do that. I'll pay!" She regained her smile and said, "No its alright, as I said, this is on the house you pay for the next time. Now enjoy your meal you two, I got some work to take care of" she left with a smile and followed by Elena, who had a smirk on her face when she left.

"Well, lets dig in!" He said as he started to devour the pork meat which was way too delicious than simple loaf of bread! Looking at him devour the meet, Aisha who sat opposite to him laughed and he looked at her and realized how he was behaving and laughed with her.

Soon, there meal ended very happily and both of them went to their rooms which was on the first floor and bade goodnight to each other and went to sleep.

Next morning, he woke up pretty earlier and went to a public bath near and took a bath and refreshed himself. After a while, Aisha also got up and refreshed herself. Soon after, they both had breakfast and he payed 5 copper for his meal and so did Aisha, then they both set off to the adventurers guild.

After two hours of taking a detour around the town, they arrived in front of the Adventurers guild. It was a three storey building, with medieval ea features. They entered the building and soon all the eyes looked at them for a second and returned to what they were doing.

After entering, Aisha led him to the counter where there was a girl around 23-25 of age was writing something. Seeing the two of them come here she immediately stopped what she was doing and looked at them with a smile, "How can I help you?" She asked them both. "I would like to complete the quest I took" she took out a basket filled with some fruits and a parchment paper as she said. She gave them both to the girl on the counter and the girl said, "Thank you, you have completed the gathering quest, heres your reward!" She said as she took out 30 copper coins. "Also, I encountered some silver wild wolves and killed them with his help, I would like to add them too" she took out six fangs of the wolves which Void never expected her to take with her. "Oh my! Are you alright? Did you go deep into the forest of half hearts? Those parts are pretty dangerous for low level adventurers, you gotta be careful when going there" she said that as she took the fangs and examined them and said, "you reward will be 6 silver coins in total, do need anything else?" She asked her as she took out 6 silver coins and gave it to her. "Yes, I would like to register my friend here as an adventurer if you dont mind helping me?" She pointed at Void as she said that. "Sure, it wont be a problem, please fill this up and I need to remind you that if you don't complete at least 3 quest a week, your reputation will go down, as a result you cant get high level quests with more fancy rewards" she passed him a giant book as she told him the details. He filled up his name and address and his class, level and sort. After 5 mins, he completed filling it up and gave it back to her for checking. She checked it all and nodded in affirmation, "Congratulations, you became an official Adventurer" she said and took out a badge and gave him. It was a round badge with yellow color and had a very differently looking magical beast which he had never seen before.

'Finally! I took my first step towards my goal!'
