Chapter 5: Rewards and Revelations

Having defeated the Beast of Shadows, Jin-su eagerly awaited his rewards. His system alerted him of the incoming rewards.

"Rewards for defeating Beast of Shadows: 1000 experience points, 10 gold coins, Shadow Blade skill upgrade, 'Shadow Cloak' item."

Jin-su's eyes widened at the sight of the rewards. An upgrade to his Shadow Blade skill? That was unexpected. He quickly checked the upgrade.

"Shadow Blade has been upgraded to Level 2. Damage: 150-200. Special Ability: Shadow Strike, deals additional damage based on user's agility and speed."

Jin-su grinned. This upgrade would be incredibly useful in future battles. He then looked at the Shadow Cloak item. It was a cloak that blended with shadows, providing stealth and defense bonuses.

As Jin-su was admiring his new items and upgrades, he heard a rustling sound nearby. He quickly wore his new cloak and hid.

A group of players appeared from the trees. They were scanning the area, probably looking for the Beast of Shadows. Jin-su smirked. They were too late.

He decided to continue his journey, leaving the group behind. Little did he know, this encounter was just the beginning of a series of events that would change his life in Elysium
