Good day, readers! This review is being written to provide some insight into Dread Tales. It gets right into the tale, so the pacing isn't too horrible. However, after reading the first few pages, you could think it's meaningless. However, I strongly advise you to continue reading past this point because the plot becomes much more interesting as you progress. You'll be able to sense my motivation and the path I want the story to go. There are also many foreshadowings, so pay attention to them.
Firstly, I just want to say to any readers reading this that the story has massive potential. If you like action fantasy then give this story a try. I'll be revealing my thoughts step by step below. Writing Quality: This is not bad. It has a few grammatical errors but nothing major. It's far from unreadable but just enough to grab your attention and keep it. I gave this a 4-star review. Story Development: This is very good. You can see the effort being placed into the story. The author is giving his very best to make the story enjoyable. If you pay attention while reading, you'll come to see little foreshadowings or hints that allow you to feel the build-up. I rated this a 5. Character Design: I don't normally take away marks for this because it's always a matter of preference. Some readers like to have the characters detailed while others rather imagine how the character looks for themselves. Personally, I rather have the characters described for me as I love descriptive writing but I gave this 5 nonetheless. Updating Stability: So far, it's been only 1 chapter per week. Hope this improves to at least 2 chapters per week. But it is understandable if the author can not release more than 1 per week due to having issues that we readers aren't aware of. But updating stability is very important as the more updates the book gets, the more readers it attracts. Not saying the author should force himself to do more than he can handle but it is fairly important. I gave a 4 for this. World Background: Not much said about this. As stated before, I love descriptive writing and unlike character designs, it is important to give the readers information about the world that the characters are in. The most I got from this was that they have tents and are inside a dome with different villages. I could hardly imagine how the world around the character looks. I'd advise the author to improve this. I gave this a 2 sadly. Overall, not a bad book. I'd recommend it to others around me given the quality and potential it displays. I rated the book an overall of 4 which is good as I can be harsh with reviews ( not really but I can be lol). Anyways, keep up the good work author-sama! You got this!
