Chapter 17

Upon disembarking from the taxi, Risha immediately hastened towards the scene of the vehicular accident involving a police officer. Despite the perilous conditions present on the highway, with numerous vehicles carelessly hurtling past, Risha fearlessly ventured forth in an effort to provide aid to the injured individual. The sight of her determined sprint towards the wreckage undoubtedly evoked a sense of trepidation among the onlookers. However, upon arriving at the scene, Risha promptly initiated the process of  summoning emergency medical assistance via a telephonic transmission to the 911 emergency hotline. Furthermore, her actions served as a catalyst, inspiring a multitude of other individuals to come forward and lend their assistance in extricating the officer from the twisted metal of the vehicle.

As the group of individuals, galvanized by Risha's actions, began the process of extricating the officer from the wreckage, they were met with the gruesome and distressing sight of the officer's body being tragically entrapped and dismembered within the twisted metal of the vehicle. The macabre spectacle was undoubtedly a traumatic experience for all those involved, and it would be understandable if some were to be overcome with revulsion and compelled to retreat from the scene. Nonetheless, the group persisted in their efforts, driven by a sense of duty and compassion to do all that they  could to alleviate the suffering of the injured officer.

Following the arrival of the emergency medical personnel and additional law enforcement officials, the scene was cordoned off, and all non-essential individuals were respectfully requested to vacate the area. Risha, having done all that she could to assist in the situation, began her journey back to her hotel. The day's events had been emotionally and physically taxing,  and as she walked, she found herself feeling an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. Despite the gnawing hunger emanating from her stomach, the weight of the day's events had taken its toll on her, and she found herself drifting off into slumber even before she could reach her destination. The day had been one of the most challenging experiences of her life and it left a deep impact on her.
