Chapter 4: Ryu clan origin.

Stoping In front of my father that was looking at me with a smile on his face I lifted the dino tail into the air with a grin.

"That was amazing power you showed there son" he said his smile still ever so present on his face as he walked towards me.

"Tell me, what gave you the courage to go head on against that Ferocisaurus" he said as he squatted down to my eye level.

"Well I was thinking just thinking of finding a way to cut it's tail and escape but then, something in me kept clicking until it snapped when the dino tried to crush me under it's foot and my body moved on it's own and before I knew it, I was enjoying the already completed battle" I said as a smirk formed on my face as I reminised how exciting the fight was.

"Hahaha, you really are my son and descendant of the Ryu clan!!" he yelled with as he laughed into the sky

"Come let's go home and eat our lunch, and after I'll tell you about the history of our Ryu clan" he said as he started walking towards our house.

"About the Ryu clan..." I said as I really want to know my origin.

I have been in this world for more than 5 years now and knowing how my father got so strong, why we are living in a cave next to a mountain, and how me at just the age of 10 have the power level of 30 when I am an human.

"Yup I'll now be telling you our origin and why we are living in such a condition" he said as he brushed his beard with his fingers.

"Can't wait" I said as I started to pick up pace while also trying to access the power from before with no progress.

(30 min later)

"Now that we are done it's time I tell you" he said quickly forming a serious face I perked my ears ready to listen to the best I could.

And after an hour if explanation I understood my origin and why I had such a high power level at such a age.

You see me and my father aren't actually like modern day humans we are more different.

Different how?, well you see like we all know, humans are an evolution from apes or simply monkeys, but my race went a different route, just to make it easy if modern day dragon ball humans evolved spiritual and technique wise then the Ryu clan also known by the name primitive race/primitive humans, went the pure physical route.

So if humans were apes then the primitive race were like silverback gorillas.

Normal humans like master Roshi, Tien, mercenary tao and the likes were quite unmatched technique wise while the primitive race were superb when it came to physical power and using ki to boost it even more as ki is also force/physical energy manipulated in some way.

If they were this strong then why weren't they mentioned in the dragon ball world?, well from what I have heard from father is that our ancestors decided that we were too strong for our relatives in which the humans agreed and so they moved away from civilization and secluded themselves in the mountains of yunzabit heights, and as the years went by and the elders of the race passed, so did the idea of leaving the island.

But then one night after the birth of male child the mother died, nobody seeing anything wrong with this as it does happen once in a while if the child is too strong or the mother is too weak to conceive the child they die.

But as more and more women gave birth the female birth rating dropped, and the male rating increased but as more male children were born, so did the death of mothers whom gave birth.

But when the reason was found, it was already too late the population had dwindled from a whooping 3000 to 100 in a span of 500 years and only 20 out of the 100 were females.

With the low quantity of females the males usually fought to the death to see who will take a woman as theirs, which made me mentally face palm at the stupidity of my own race.

Anyways that brought us to this day, and by what my father told me was that my mother was the last woman to die from my birth which made me quite sad at the fact that I was the reason his wife died.

"And that's everything" he said with a sigh as he looked at me.

"So where are the rest of our race and how many are left" I asked making his always smiling face drop and that of a serious one made its way on his face.

" there are only 7 left including us there is only 9 Ryu clan members left" he said as he put his head down in disappointment.

"Look Genshi, no matter what happens don't forget who you are or where you came from ok?, you are Genshi Ryu a descendant of the Ryu clan" he said with pride.

"Take pride in that" he finished with a serious face.

"Yeah!" I answered back with prideful energy, that even I didn't realize I emitted, and from that day on I trained twice as hard.

A/n Just so you know... i took the whole primitive race stuff out of nowhere lol.

Ps- do y'all think the origin of the mc makes sense? if not tell me anytime, and maybe you can help improve it in some way, cuz am the type of person that has a big imagination but lack the creativity to draw it out the way I want to.

and what do y'all think about the pace of the story? is it to slow, fast or okay?.
