Abel was in trouble, dealing with some monsters, but luckily his father got alerted by a kind old lady. Abel was in a grave trouble but he was finally saved by his father. After walking for a while, they have finally arrived at the desired destination- The Whealbrook, their hometown.
(Main Protagonist's Pov)
"We have finally arrived at last." said dad.
"Hmm."
"It seems like you may not remember much when you were here before and besides it's not a big deal as everyone tends to forget things, especially when they are just young kids."
Well it sure does feel like I forgot most of the things when I was here before but oh well nevermind that.
"Let's go dad, I can't wait to see the inside of the village. Perhaps I could remember even more things that way." I said.
"Haha, alright let's go inside."
We saw the guard who was stationed here.
"Oh my god! If it isn't Pankraz! It's been whole two years since you left the village! But that doesn't matter anymore since you are finally back to the village safely."
"Yes, it feels so better to be back now."
"And is that your son. He is really grown since I last saw him. Hello there little one, your name is Abel if I remember correctly. How do you feel to be back. I hope you are completely doing well." said Guard.
"I don't remember much but I'm glad to be back, thank you for the warm welcome!" I said while giving a smile.
"I see I see, it seems like your son has good manners and what can I expect more? Your son will be like you some day."
"Hahah, okay enough praising so how's everyone in the village? I hope everyone are fine." said dad.
"They are all doing well and I completely forgotten, I should not just stand here and instead I should be announcing your arrival."
The guard suddenly started moving as he started to say in a loud voice.
"Everyone! Pankraz is back to the village! He is finally back here!"
The voice was so loud that I could hear it even though he went a little far ahead for announcement throughout the whole village.
"Okay then, let's go."
"Okay dad."
As we were moving, I had saw many people came outside hurriedly from their house and started approaching my dad, asking him many questions and giving him a warm welcome. However, dad ignored most of them, perhaps because he must have been so tired a little bit after such a long journey.
Then we went near a house and the door suddenly opened so fast as if the door was about to be destroyed. A man came, rushing quickly and his met my dad's. The man looked so surprised that it almost was like, he was going to explode or something.
"Oh my! I just heard the announcement that you came back and I was just getting ready to meet you. It's been two years and I really missed you for so long. I hope you are doing well, Pankraz."
"Yes Sancho, I'm completely fine and I never up. Anyway, I hope you are also fine."
"Yes yes, absolutely. Why don't you come inside and take a seat, you must be a little tired after all. A man should also know how to rest as well."
We went inside the room and took our seats. We finally took some breathe for few for a while and then suddenly a voice came.
"Welcome home, Mr Pankraz."
A girl, almost of my own age, came from upstairs as she greeted my dad when she came near.
She had a ponytail and her hair is blonde.
"Hm? And who might this girl be?"
"She is my daughter, Bianca." Another voice came behind the girl.
It was a woman and-
"Huh? Wait, aren't you..." My dad seemed to struggle a little bit to remember but then he recognised who the woman was.
"Oh I recognise you now, aren't you old Whitey's wife from the nearby village! Am I right?" dad finally remembered her after struggling to think.
"Yes, she came here for the medicine for Mr Whitaker from Roundbeck village."
"Hm? Is that so?" asked my dad as he looked a little bit confused.
"Hey, let's go upstairs and play or do something interesting. I'm so bored because of the adult-like discussion!" exclaimed Bianca
"But..."
"Come on! Don't be like that, it will be fun!"
She held my hand, quite forcefully, and started moving towards upstairs.
"Hey! Wait a minute please!"
She didn't seemed to listen to me and ignored me completely while happily going upstairs.
After that,
"Sit down on the chair."
"You aren't listening to me! I wanted to say th-"
"Sit down here and I will go take a book to read you a story!"
She cut through what I wanted to say and ignored me again as she walked nearby to the book shelf.
"*Sigh* "
I sighed as I gave up and decided to do what she wanted.
"Here I am! I will read the book so let's get started!"
"...." I went silent
"By the way, do you remember who I am?"
"Um...maybe?"
"Well, you don't seem to remember me since you were just a kid back then after all. Anyway, I'm Bianca and I hope you could remember well from now on."
I got the feeling that I had heard this name before but I forgot about it completely. Perhaps, it was because I was just so tiny back then. Well, it can't be helped.
"I am two years older than you and that is why I quite remember you."
"She is two years older than me, that means she is eight."
"Okay, so let me read....Um....er.....One.....three?.....uh....it's quite hard to read the book!
"..."
She looked a little funny and cute when she was trying to read a book even though she can't read it at all.
