Descent of The Legendary Super Saiyan (76)

"Surrender Queen Drizzle! You can't escape!" King Grill shouted, much more anxious than confident.

Although he held the advantage from a strategic standpoint, he knew from experience that Queen Drizzle was as unpredictable as she was capable, giving him the distinct impression that trouble was coming his way.

"PATH!" Queen Drizzle shouted, her usual elegant and calm voice becoming incomparably sharp.

A knell sounded in the heads of each of her soldiers, Queen Drizzle's command echoing in their mind.

A small hole opened up in her army, a sector of space being cut out.

A poor warrior locked eyes with Queen Drizzle as she charged her sword with sharp ice ki.

"Shit!"

The soldier turned to try and run away but it was already over.

Queen Drizzle pounced, raising her sword and thrusting it out, the tip piercing through the soldier's neck like meat on a kebab.

She quickly discarded the body and hurriedly slashed a soldier who dared to approach her cutting him down quickly.

Queen Drizzle's heartbeat fastened and her body tensed, she quickly raised her sword.

CLANG!

"Lord Skewer!" she said, her eyes full of disdain.

A tall man in jagged crystal armour, lowered his sword, his dark blue eyes peering out of his moulded helmet.

"Queen Drizzle! Always a pleasure! Surrender quickly so we can go home!" Lord Skewer said, his eyes looking Queen Drizzle up and down.

"Hmph!"

Swords clashed and strikes were exchanged.

The compact circle of Ice Tribe warriors madly dashed towards the way out that had been made for them.

The surrounding Fire Tribe soldiers then moved quickly trying to patch the hole but a few keen-eyed Ice tribe soldiers found gaps and punched new holes.

A raging mess ensued.

Any pretence of form, structure and strategy was quickly lost as swords clashed, war in its purest form on display as the two sides fought passionately.

"What on Sythis is going on here?" Broly couldn't help himself from saying, watching the battle from above.

Yami watched the fight below with his eyes peeled, he remembered the curious race who could pass down their memories through elemental ki crystals and examined their fighting styles.

In the past, although Saiyan skin was tough enough to resist their ice, wind and fire, the lightning tribe was the one to always deal damage to the Saiyans. It was only when the Legendary Super Saiyan appeared and wiped them all out, that the Saiyans were able to recover and grow, their numbers going from the hundreds of thousands to tens of thousands.

'While their strength is less potent, their abilities have become a lot more refined over the course of time, as long as you keep your guard up you should have no problem' Yami said, decreeing the truth.

'It makes sense, because they can pass down memories they can improve their techniques to frightening degrees,' Broly thought, slightly spellbound by the elemental combat that was taken place below him.

There were two notable points of interest in the battle.

A tall man was fighting a woman in an area that was at least 20 metres away from the main battle. They were both wearing special armour so Broly could assume that they were the generals of their Tribes. When Broly shifted his focus he could see the main mess that was occurring on land.

Random thrusts and strikes were happening in every direction, a red armoured soldier successfully struck down a blue armoured soldier only to be suddenly pierced from the back by a sword from another blue-armoured soldier. But that soldier was quickly pierced by a clever arrow that navigated it's way to his eye holes from a red armoured archer. Then that archer was smitten by a block of ice that collided bluntly against the back of his head.

It was chaos.

Broly's eyes strained and his brain worked as it tried to keep track of everything happening on the land, the random encounters occurring quickly, seemingly without a pattern.

'Stop trying to calculate this shit! Now is the time for violence! VIOLENCE!' Yami beckoned, trying to persuade Broly.

He knew Broly was as hyper as he was to fight after seeing the combat and both of their curiosities were thoroughly stimulated.

It was finally time to get on with it.

A small smile formed on his face as he leaned downwards, his body collaborating with gravity as he dropped towards the floor.

DOOOMF!

A horrible earthquake shuddered through the ground, some soldiers were disoriented and lost balance while other soldiers capitalised off of the confusion and quickly attacked.

Broly charged quickly towards the battle, his jet-black hair catching the wind as he reached the heart of the conflict.

He already decided that his primary objective was to disable all of the soldiers on both sides and help the leaders in charge come to an agreement. It was because of this silly war in the first place that he couldn't get his crystals and go home.

Yami scoffed at this if Broly meant that he would make the soldiers disabled then he agreed with him.

Broly's fist smashed violently into the head of a Fire Tribe warrior, the red crystalline helmet acting as a weapon at the hands of Broly, further helping him to deliver a strong impact against the soldier's brain who went limp upon impact.

"EH?"

The Ice Tribe soldier who was being attacked by the Fire Tribe soldier looked up at Broly in confusion.

His life had been saved by the hulking behemoth but he was such a strange size and colour, it was like he was looking at an alien. The battlefield was the last place he had expected to see such a peculiar creature.

Broly didn't respect any hesitation the soldier had and swung his leg wildly towards him in a spinning back kick, his heel smacking into the guarded jaw of the Ice Warrior.

CRACK!

A loud sound could be heard as the warrior's neck moved suddenly, millimetres away from breaking point as he was knocked out instantly.

Broly looked down at the crumpled soldier curiously.

'The ice armour didn't break?'

Although the warrior he attacked was sleeping, the helmet on his head didn't break at all, despite being made of a rigid material it didn't crack under the force of Broly's blow.

"What the fuck is that?" a soldier called out, bringing the attention of a few soldiers to Broly.

Broly looked back at the confused glances and a smile formed on his face.

"NGARRGGGGGH!" he called out wildly.
