"We over at the Ice Tribe also hide our crystals under our thrones," Queen Drizzle said, stepping back to let Broly approach the crystal.

Broly stepped up to the pedestal, approaching the fruit of his conquest.

It was a small thing, taking up only half of Broly's hand and appeared to be dulled, lacking the shine a regular Lightning Crystal was supposed to have.

"The Super Lightning Crystal is said to have the ability to give Lightning superpowers, enabling the user to manipulate the element without ki and as I am already connected to the Super Ice Crystal, I have no need for it, you are free to use it as you wish," Queen Drizzle said keeping her eyes peeled.

'What am I supposed to do with it?' Broly asked Yami, slightly disappointed that the crystal was so lacklustre.

It might as well have been a yellow rock.

'Can you sense the ki signature?' Yami asked patiently.

Broly focused, closing his eyes and tried to get a reading on the crystal.

'Barely,' he thought wearily, he really wanted to go to bed and sleep.

His body was already on the brink of collapse so he wanted to swiftly wrap this up.

'You need to inject a sliver of your ki into it and the very second you do, immediately draw the energy into your body,' Yami said slowly, sounding as calm as he could.

'That simple?' Broly asked suspiciously, the process seeming to easy to be true.

'That's how they were operated back in my time' Yami said evasively.

If Broly was in his optimal state of mind, he would have noticed the subtle implication in Yami's words but at this point, he was too exhausted to care.

'If you say so,' Broly said compliantly.

He closed his eyes and breathed, allowing a drop of his ki to enter the ki crystal.

The very second he did this a yellow light shone brightly, illuminating the fallen palace.

PSH!

A thin wave of yellow energy burst out from the crystal, slapping the environment like the wind.

Strong swirls of yellow lightning rotated around the crystal arcing cyclically as the crystal gained strength, now hovering in Broly's hand.

'He actually did it!' Queen Drizzle said happily.

'What a fucking idiot!'

'Now is the time! Absorb the energy!' Yami said to Broly, slightly excited.

Broly breathed in and out, focusing on his ki pathways and allowed the energy to flow within him, gradually he moved his will to the ki crystal in his hands and commanded it to flow into his body.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!

A sudden piercing current flew out of the crystal surrounding his body in a vortex of lightning in seconds, immersing him completely.

Broly's muscles tensed and his bones trembled as the raw lightning energy ran through him. He grunted as he bore the pain that coursed through him, every part feeling as if it was on fire.

'Don't resist it! Let it flow through you!' Yami coached from the sidelines.

"NGRH!"

Broly tried to relax but the pain he was channelling was beyond excessive, his body was already sore and tired from the harsh labour he had been diligently enduring and he wasn't in the physical state to be experiencing this kind of severe strain.

Broly quickly turned Super Saiyan, his hair turning blonde and muscles relaxing under the pressure as the enhanced life energy in his body, carefully nourished him.

Broly exhaled sharply and focused on letting the energy ripple through him.

Everything went well unto Broly's ki met the electricity.

When Broly turned Super Saiyan, although it was extremely small, a thin wave of ki burst out from him, forced by pressure to travel outwards and meet the strands of electricity that circled around.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!

Like an empty well being filled Broly's ki quickly sucked in the Lightning, using the vast and stable energy to grow and further itself. This, logically speaking, should not have been possible but Broly's ki found a gap in its sequence and autonomously worked to evolve using the Lightning as a basis.

'Truly a cheat code' Yami said watching in awe.

The vortex around Broly slowly closed in on him, the electricity lining up with his ki pathways almost directly being absorbed, an audible buzz sounding the air vigourously.

"NNGGRH!"

Broly groaned as pain embraced him, the electricity tore its way through Broly's body and if not for the high concentration and rapid circulation of his life energy his body would have already given out, unable to cope with the damage that was being done.

As seconds passed Broly's willpower buckled, every part of him from the top of his head to the soles on his feet, pierced by the Lightning.

'A freak through and through,' Queen Drizzle thought to herself, gathering ki at the end of her fingertips.

'Now comes the hard part,' she said to herself counting the seconds,

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!

The Super Lightning Crystal suddenly tripled in potency, causing waves of stray electricity to fly away from Broly's body.

"Ice Coffin," Queen Drizzle whispered to herself, creating a doorless igloo around Broly made of solidified ice. Queen Drizzle, being the Super Ice Crystal holder, was able to create ice structures that were made at absolute zero, causing her ice to be one of the stiffest substances on Planet Mentels.

She was single-handedly the reason for the Ice Tribe's prominence up till now.

Queen Drizzle didn't hate Broly nor did she want to kill him out of revenge, it was simply for the greater good. She didn't know anything about him and couldn't take the risk of Broly suddenly deciding to kill her people.

From the moment he announced he was looking for the Super Lightning Crystal she panicked but it seemed Broly only knew it existed and nothing else.

This allowed her to trick him.

The Super Lightning Crystal gave memories to Melenians only, she didn't know for sure but she highly doubted that the crystals would react positively with Broly and given how potent the Super Crystals were...

His death was all but guaranteed.

Queen Drizzle let out another relieved breath and thickened her barrier, not wanting a single strand of Lightning to leave her prison.
