Dr. Stone: Nanami Yukihime

"Its so hot! Fuck!" A young man exclaimed under his breath as he walked under the burning heat of the sun.

This summer in the Philippines, the temperature was higher than the past years peaking at 48° C the other day. Due to this, classes were shortened and some schools even suspended their classes and reverted to online classes.

This young man is one of those students with shortened class schedules. He was currently going home and it is now quarter to 12 noon so it was understandable that it is currently ultra hot.

"How long do I have to endure this heat? 3 months? Our house would collapse before me due to the fucking heat first." He continued to grumble as he walked and regretted that he forgot to bring his umbrella.

Just as he continued walking, his vision suddenly blurred and blackened causing him to freeze in place. Feeling dizzy, he closed his eyes and reached out to the railing of the bridge in an attempt to lean on it.

"Wha—"

All of a sudden, his eyes shot open as he felt a feeling of weightlessness. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw the world tilting and he felt pain in his waist as he winced in pain.

With his eyes closed again in pain, he fell down the river and soon reached the water. In his panic he frantically flailed his arm, choking in water on the process.

As his vision slowly faded and felt that his body grew heavier, his memories played back in his mind. Unnoticeable tears that quickly mixed in the water flowed out as he thought about his life, full of mistakes and regret.

In the last few seconds he had as he slowly succumbed to his death he thought, 'It would've been better if I was a girl.'

A life vanished in the face of the earth again along with others as more were born. This insignificant man, one of billions of humans on earth, died unnoticed with no one to mourn his death...

...though this is only the beginning of an incredible story.

"Ryusui-sama, Yukihime-sama is still sleeping. Please don't disturb her."

Standing in front of the door, the old butler said as he stopped the young boy in front of him.

"Haha! Why can't I see my little sister? I just want to play with her." Young Ryusui asked as he crossed his arms across his chest.

The old butler sighed as he replied, "The young miss is only three years old and still can't speak. Go look for young master Sai."

"Hmph! Can I at least see her? I will leave as soon as I see her."

"...Okay." The old butler sighed again as he reached in his chest pocket for the key of the room. Normally, they only open the young miss' room whenever she wanna play outside or when she's eating due to her sickly body.

He then put in the key to the keyhole as he opened the door.

But as the two entered the room, their eyes widened in shock with what they saw and heard in front of them.

"...it seems that the parallel multiverse theory is correct. If so then that would mean that the theory about worldlines would also be right and time travel would then be feasible. I just need to test and find out if what I'm thinking about is possible..."

They saw a little girl standing on top of the chair typing on the keyboard of the laptop furiously as she surfed the internet for information. There was also a chalk board filled with drawings and lines they can't understand. It was a baffling scenery.

"Haha! It seems like my little sister has been wide awake this whole time!" Ryusui was the first one who woke up from astonishment as his eyes was filled with desire for his little sister's talent.

As soon as he said those words, Yukihime Nanami, the little girl who was previously focused on researching froze in shock as her whole body trembled. She then mechanically turned to look at her back and saw her little brother with the old butler still shocked in place.

"Shit... um... you two are hallucinating because you accidentally ate a mario mushroom... go out of the room and come back five minutes later and everything will be normal..." Little Yukihime awkwardly said as she looked at the two.

But Ryusui paid her words no heed as he walked to her with a massive smile on his face.

Yukihime just sighed in defeat as she said, "Just leave me alone okay... also don't say anything about me to others. I'll play with you later nii-san."

"Haha! You should've said so earlier. I will find you later. Let's go, old man." Ryusui then beckoned the old butler to follow him out as the old butler just nodded in a daze and followed behind him.

With them out of the room, little Yukihime sighed as she held her forehead and sighed, "I thought I could hide it for at least a month. I didn't expect to be discovered this early."

She is a unique person. Little Yukihime Nanami is what you would call a reincarnator. In her past life, she died due to drowning after falling into the river and she woke up in this body a week ago as a little girl.

Though she was thankful that she got a second chance, she still regretted wishing to be a little girl in her past life's last moments. She still misses her little brother till now.

"It seems like I have to deal with my elder brothers later. This would be a headache."
