Chapter One : Petrification

"Akio... Akio...AKIO Wake up, you're already late for school!!"

In a room inside an ordinary Suburban house, both a teenaged boy who seemed to be named Akio was still lying in bed inside the room and a teenaged girl similarly aged as the boy in the bed while wearing a standard high school uniform. A loud and high-pitched voice was suddenly heard in the room belonging to the teenaged girl inside the room, which could probably be heard by a house one block away.

But despite the angry voice that could be ear-shattering to many, the guilty of this situation, Akio Ogawa, a teenage boy with pitch-black hair and relatively attractive looks, was still lying on the bed while saying to the teenaged brown-haired girl in his room.

"Ugh, give me five more minutes, not like the teachers would get angry at me anyway."

And as Akio said this while now properly getting up from his bed. Yuzuhira, who was Akio's sister, then replied to Akio's words while fixing up her uniform who was messed up a bit when she landed on her brother. saying,

"Well, of course, I'm like this only to you, brother, because you're always too lazy that if I use any other methods, you literally will not wake up or even go to school. Heck, Mom even said when I was in camp, you spent all your time in your room playing games. Onii-chan I know you could be better than this since, like Senku-san, your also pretty smart and a pretty good athlete as well, probably only being second to Tsukasa-san in the strength."

When Akio heard his little Sister's words and viewed him, Akio laughed as he said, "Hahaha, Yuzu, you know I don't like attention as much compared to those two. And besides that, I would rather be alone most of the time at school than spend time showing off my skills to others. And yeah. I would rather use my talents in my hobbies than go to a school where I already know mostly everything they'll teach us. After hearing this, Yuzuriha, who listened to her brother's words face suddenly turned red with embarrassment while pouting a bit towards her brother and replying as well." So after Yuzuriha realized what her older brother said was right, she panicked for a bit and immediately set off to school while scolding her brother to catch up to her later on quickly. While also reminding Akio not to slack off while going to school, which had left Akio laughing while comforting his sister, saying that he will immediately go.

Now, after Akio had finished fixing himself up and having a quick breakfast that Yuzuriha made earlier before waking him up since they were both orphans who were able to leave the orphanage when they were young due to the money that Akio had earned back when he was younger. So after eating breakfast, Akio was now walking towards the school in a rushed manner while looking around carefully. From an average person's outlook, Akio would have been viewed as a weirdo since, currently, Akio was sneaking around the place.

But Akio himself had a good reason for doing, and it was because he didn't want to meet the person he knew would be a pain to deal with if he catches him. And that person was Gen Asagiri or, in other words, his cunning and annoying fellow disciple under the same mentor.

Akio didn't like Gen because, throughout the time, when Akio was under the same mentor, Gen always creeped him out for being too clingy for his good. Also, Akio sometimes thinks that Gen was gay for being too sticky to him despite Gen's rejection of that answer when Akio had once asked him the same question. In those times, due to his previous accomplishments as a child prodigy, which was a time the current Akio calls "The Dark Era." Gen became a fan of Akio, seeing all the accomplishments Akio had managed to achieve at the time. And so, after their time studying under the same mentor, Gen had become more clingy than before and even surprisingly to Akio even moved into the same neighborhood as his family recently.

So these days, Akio was always on guard from Gen's appearance. So he could run away from him when he sees him. So after looking carefully in the area, Akio thought to himself, "(Thank god Gen wasn't here today when Yuzu wasn't here; if he did, it would have been another pain since more than that Yuzu forced me to go to school again. But at least I could probably play some games later with Senku and Taiju after the class; maybe around Lunch should be fair. Although Senku might not join in since I heard he was making something big again this time, honestly, that guy is way too into science. I doubt he would ever get a gf.)"

And while Akio was thinking of his plans with Senku and Taiju later, he suddenly felt a chill behind his back while hearing the words, "Ohh so you were actually here, boss, why do you avoid me all the time, can't you teach me your skills already." even though this words seemed pretty normal the tone in the voice clearly indicated something dangerous towards Akio. With his Instincts, he knew who it was, and without saying a word, he quickly ran away without even turning back. And seeing his boss run away, the guy who had said those words to Akio, which was actually Gen sighed as he thought, "(Ugh Boss why running away again, although I won't stop chasing until you say your secrets of the ladies, and after I get those sweets skills I can finally get that harem of mine Hahahaa.)"

So after running away at Swift's speeds, Akio had finally appeared in front of the school's gate. And at the time he arrived, it seems that Taiju had also just arrived at school. And since Taiju was also one of Akio's childhood friends and best friend, Taiju was worried about his friends. Out of breath state. But Akio just shrugged it off while.

And after this, everything normally went like any other students Akio and Taiju headed to class. And in that time, Akio mostly just slept in class without even being disturbed by the teacher since Akio was one of the top graders in school, so even with that attitude of sleeping in class, the teachers just ignored it most of the time as they knew even if they did scold Akio, he would ignore it.

While walking towards Senku's personal lab provided by the school, Akio was talking to Teiju, saying, "Oh really, Taiju, your really gonna confess to my sister are you sure that you should say to Senku even if your close wouldn't he normally laugh at this kind of stuff since after all how many years we've been friends have we already know you like my sister."

Taiju then replied to Akio with enthusiasm and also a bit of awkwardness," Yeah, and after all this time, I could finally have enough confidence to confess, But Akio-san, can you at least give me a hint if Yuzu likes me too since your her brother and all."

Akio then slapped Taiju's back with a smirk and saying "Well, where's the fun in that if I told you how my sis feels, wouldn't your confidence be useless then since if theoretically, she did like you, you would have probably confessed when we were 10 already. And besides this and besides, if you do confess, I can tell you if I do acknowledge you to be my sister since even if you are my best friend, I'll only let the best guy to date, my sister."

When Taiju heard Akio's words towards him, he just nodded as he said, "Yeah, I guess it wouldn't be so great if I already knew Yuzuriha-san's feelings; thanks for the words, though, Akio or should I call you Onii-san too Hahaha."

Then after looking around while heading to Senku's lab Akio and Taiju. Although they didn't notice a green beam was suddenly produced, and in a few minutes, everyone wouldn't know that this would change their lives forever.

[Science Lab/Senku's Lab]

In the Lab, Senku and some of his classmates/Subordinates were currently doing experiments. While Senku was currently finishing inspecting a bottle with a mysterious substance inside it like usual, Taiju, as he entered the room, suddenly shouted about his confession to Yuzuhira.

And seemingly as he was expecting this, Senku then said, "Oh now that's an interesting indeed, (since we all knew you liked her anyway). And after saying this, Senku suddenly offered the bottle with the mysterious substance earlier, saying it could increase Teiju's chances to be accepted higher. However, after knowing Taiju for so long, both Senku and Akio knew that he wouldn't use it anyway.

After confidently saying no to Senku's potion, which was expected, Taiju then left the room since, at the lab's windows, Taiju had already seen that Yuzuhira was already there. And immediately after Taiju left, Senku then said to Akio, "So Akio, are you fine with him getting along with your sis? After all this time, I thought you were planning back then to find Yuzu the perfect boy, and as we know, Taiju certainly isn't perfect."

Akio then replied while walking over to the windows where Akio saw his sister under the tree and Taiju, who quickly managed to get their "Yeah I know that but all this time I know my sister liked Taiju too although sometimes I'm a bit petty that Taiju was the one she chose even though it was predictable ever since we where kids." And as Senku was about to reply, Akio then saw the green light quickly turning everyone to stone, and before Akio could do anything about his body along with everyone inside the school, suddenly turned to stone and due to a sudden gust of wind, Akio who had turned to stone had fallen from the window he was at earlier shattering into many tiny pieces which caused...
