Chapter 8: Durnehviir

(A/n I am not going to use Dovahzul vocabulary since when I look through the Dovahzul dictionary, many words do not exist and it will be odd for him to speak English from time to time when both Durnehviir and Artorias knows Dovahzul. That is why whenever they speak Dovahzul, the Dovahzul words it will be like this ------- {World} ----- in Dovahzul, "World" translates into "Lein". This is how I'll do it. Last chapter was special. Only Thu'um Shouts will be in Dovahzul. Although, Durnehviir speaks mostly in common tongue and less in Dovahzul.)

Artorias: "Drem Yol Lok, Greetings Durnehviir."

The zombified looking Dragon turned to face me when he heard my voice.

Durnehviir: Ah Krosis (Sorry). I was so immersed with basking in the lush air of this Pindaar, or Lein. This Plain or World I find myself myself in, that I forgot to greet a fellow Dovah. Drem Yol Lok, Qahnaarin."

(Translation: Drem (Peace), Yol (Fire), Lok (Sky) = Greetings)

Why did he call me Qahnaarin?

He would only call the Dovahkiin that upon defeating him in the Soul Cairn. Is my character also the same exact one after I completed all the quests in the game?

Artorias: "Why do you call me Qahnaarin? I do not recall fighting you. Perhaps the Currents of Time are different in this place to what you know Zeymah (Brother)."

Durnehviir: "Hmm, indeed. You words hold true. We have fought before, but...you are...different. Even Still, you are strong, and I feel the defeat of Alduin on your Soul. I, nor any of the Dov would mistake you as the one to slay the World-Eater. And so, you have earned the right to be called, Qahnaarin."

Interesting.

So the character I am inside of, has indeed defeated Alduin.

Artorias: "This world is not Vus (Nirn). We are in a world where the Aedra and Daedra do not exist.you have also felt the absence of Magnus (the Sun)."

Durnehviir: "Yes. Then where are Qahnaarin?"

I then explained quickly to Durnehviir that we were in a different world and the races of this world along with the differences with them.

He understood much of it, but he soon vannished.

I resummoned him again, and he was grateful that I resummoned him from the dreadful place that was the Soul Cairn.

I told him that I would make a deal with him.

I would find a way to give him a new physical body for his Dragon Soul to inhabit, and i would link his soul to my Magnus core within my body so that his body and soul wouldn't cease to exist.

His body and soul was to far damaged and effected by the Soul Cairn to ever recover, but I may know a way to help him.

And in doing so, I will gain a powerful ally that was taught the secret of Necromancy by the Ideal Masters.

The most powerful Necromancer to ever exist will be my closest and most loyal subordinate.

I summoned Durnehviir cause I wanted to talk and make the deal with him.

He second d reason was to scare off the Thief guy so I can follow him back to the Cave where Ponta was being held captive.

Ponta wasn't at Rita Village, which was the name of Marca's Village, like in the Anime.

So this world must be a blend between the Novels and the Anime. Thus, Ponta is in the cave.

I used my transmigrated knowledge of tracking, taught by Aela herself, to follow the tracks left behind.

I found the cave and entered it.

The Bandite all thought they could beat me, as they were only afraid of the Dragon.

I had just used the throwing knives I had on the front of my armour, like the Breton Hero did, and threw them in the exact way.

All of them couldn't react as I threw one after the other at rapid speeds.

I recovered all my knives by using [Telekinesis] and took all their loot and corpses into my Domain.

I found a multiple tailed small green fox in one of the cages.

I opened the cage, but Ponta attacked me even after I healed her.

I know I'm a greedy person, and not entirely pure of heart.

Only the purely good or a empty headed idiot (like Arc), as said by Ariane, can take a Spirit Beast.

I ignored it and used a shout to pacify her for now. I'll give her as a gift to someone later, I don't want a pet like Ponta, despite her cuteness.

Artorias: "KAAN..."

I only used the first Word of Power of the [Kyne's Peace] Shout to calm Ponta down.

KAAN meant Kyne, which is the name of the Aedric Goddess of the Air, Kynerath.

Ponta was pacified and she jumped onto my head and patted it repeatedly...

This is going to be annoying.

I grabbed some good old Snowberries found in Skyrim, from out if my inventory and gave them to Ponta.

She seemed to be in Cloud-9 since she stuck to my head like glue.

I pulled her off of me and tossed her into my Domain.

I didn't need a passenger bothering me all the time.

I left the cave and I used [Detect Life], and I saw someone was hiding in the bushes before me.

I knew who it was and decided to humour her.

In the next instant she lept out and attacked me with a downwards slash of her sword...
