chapter 10: easy exp

I was managed to kill another 2 Ants, one by one after waiting for an opportunity to kill them silently without much effort.

currently, I am wandering around in the tunnels, To find a way out of these dark tunnels yet unable to discover any accessible area like when we first came into the dungeon

I looked at my Exp as I strolled in the darkness

I were managed to slay 3 ants in total and gained 15 exp points after killing them. if I wanted to level up I had to kill 17 more ants and after the level up maybe I will get one or two of my abilities back.

unexpectedly I saw a bit of light in front of me, I quickly ran towards the light but I fell on the plane ground floor through a pit but fortunately I able to see everything around me.

I sat on the ground and started rubbing my black clothes to clear the dust until I heard a familiar voice

" screeeeeeeee "

when I turned around, I saw two Ants moving toward me

I yanked my dagger from my belt and started proceeding to them, When I saw they were close enough to make my move, I dive over them and quickly cuts of the leg of an ant, another one turns back but I manage to deliver a horizontal slash on his face. I choose to back away instantly to make sure that I am at a safe distance

I surmised that I could handle two ants at the same time because previously I killed the tree ants, one by one using only one fatal blow and that's the plenty to kill one

these ants started making a loud voice but they haven't attacked me yet, I rapidly started attacking vertically, horizontally to kill them and after a few times of deadly cuts, they dropped dead

" WTF " I let out loudly as I saw a notification on the window, I wiped the sweat from my cheeks and about to sit down to take a breath but again I heard lots of screams behind me, I turned around to look what's behind me.

More than 8 ants were moving toward me with making noise

" Fuck... " I rushed through the tunnel in front of me without thinking where I am going until I started to feel completely exhausted, I wasn't able to breathe, my vision became too blurry, I wasn't moving my legs properly while running.

I dropped on the ground looking back huffing with exertion and thankfully didn't saw any insect behind me

" I never imagined that one day fucking ants going to chase me like this "

again message pops up but I closed my eyes and just lied down for a minutes

When I recovered enough stamina I started moving my ass because I don't want these insects to bite me

After a long walk, I arrived at a big open space and cautiously started moving towards the entry of that place. when I peeked from the corner, a chill runs down to my spine

there are lots of eggs maybe be 100 or even more in the open cave-like space, but I didn't saw any other ants around them ...Only the eggs

I started walking around them slowly looking at them curiously but at the same time everywhere, after searching and making sure this room is safe I picked a stone from the ground and throws at the one of egg, egg instantly cracked as thick material liquid came out from eggshell

A large smile paced on my face unconsciously as lots of thoughts came into my mind.

I looked around for a moment and saw one giant leg of ant laying on the ground, I picked it up instantly.

That leg was heavy and the skin on the leg very tough maybe it will be more difficult to penetrate from my dagger

I Clasped that leg in both hands and started swinging horizontally towards the eggs

messages kept appearing as I was smashing eggs with the big leg of the ant. finally, I wiped out all the eggs from the place

"only 11 exp left for level up " I dropped the ant leg on the dirt and started taking breaths rapidly as I huffed

suddenly I heard a strange but terrifying voice from the other side of the tunnels, there are lots of tunnels connecting to this open space but I was not sure where is the source of the noise located.

I scanned every possible direction for the source, I was trying to figure out which direction that creature might be but suddenly big ant size of a car came out

But the worst thing was that the ant has four transparent wings on her back as she could flying her way to me but at the ground level

" queen " I step back in anxiety...

" we almost slaughtered them just a few more " Jeff shouted to address the group but it wasn't enough for others, there were only 7 or 8 people left alive, Ray and Tyson were missing.

one girl started shouting as she stumbled back on the ground, Ant sunk his teeth on her hand and started biting her, she punched on his face but still, she can't able to free her arm

" help please... someone "

A few of the heroes move towards her for help but Jeff ordered them not to break lineups

" Don't you dare to move... think like she was already dead and if you also want to join her like the rest of the fallen guys then go ahead " Jeff shoots a sharp ice Bolt towards one of the ants killing it on the spot

one guy gazed at her and said as he began sobbing " I am sorry Sasha. I am really... "

that girl stares at him as she started whimpering but another ant grabbed her neck, making her fall silent permanently

that boy also dropped on his knees as he looked at her girlfriend in horror " she is dead... this can't be... I don't want to die... I "

Others look at him and wanted to comfort him but they were engaged in heavy battle with ants.

that guy shortly sat up and started sprinting forward in fear as if he thought maybe there is an exit, few of the heroes tried to stop him but again Jeff stopped them

that guy disappeared in front of them for a few moments but again he runs back toward them as he started shouting

" don't kill me... I don't want "

but one giant ant bites his head off and looks at the other survivors

Everyone was gaping at that ant queen in fear even Jeff himself. they froze on the ground, first, they thought with their powers they would easily handle this f rank dungeon but when they came in F ranked dungeon, their expectations had faded away like dust in the air

They were not in the manner to face this giant queen's head as their hands and legs were shaking started shaking.

However, an unexpected thing happened, that queen cries and began moving toward them as they scattered away in fear but That giant queen just run past them without looking at them like they were invisible to her

They looked at her as she runs away but again two people ran after her as they shouting

" Hey you giant bug you dare to ignore me "

Tyson shouted running behind her with his two-handed sword in his hand

" Leave her she is mine " Ray bared as he also runs beside Tyson

they both ignored everyone and focused their attention on the queen

Both of the heroes dumbfounded others, they are unable to understand these guys' behavior. All of them was scared of her but these two were chasings her like she was a plaything for them

speechlessness could be seen on Jeff's face after looking at the scene. additionally, heroes who were beside him looking at him with hostility. One thing going on in their minds from the start if they stick with these two guys, maybe the deaths rate of their fellow human beings might be the lowest.

They glare at Jeff and started following Tyson and ray

" where are you going if you go there you will also end up like others stick with me " Jeff shouted but nobody cares about his orders anymore...
