Plans for Courting

Sunday, 8th July, Year 1349

So today marks the end of my first week in this new world, though it's not really new considering that it's just an alternate earth which has gone through a cataclysm which wiped out most of the human race. Oh well that's enough reminiscing about useless stuff.

I read the novel named Stormwind Mountain Villa written by Fors Wall last night. And I gotta say that the woman has a flair for writing drama, I mean the plot of the novel had so many twists that it was almost unrecognizable if you just see the beginning and the end. Though some things remained constant.

For those people who don't know about this novel, it is a novel about Lady Sissi, who is 1.65 meters tall and weighs ninety-eight pounds. It is a story of her embarking as a home tutor in the Fruys Mountain Villa. In the beginning it starts of as a romance novel, but then an evil spirit enters the story and acts like a guide with its own agenda. After when you think it's about ghosts, Lady Sissi reveals herself as a detective by making an amazing deduction. Finally when you think it's a detective novel, the male lead suffers from a heavy blow to the head and loses his memories. And this finally kicks off into heart rending drama. Honestly I gotta say that Miss Fors is really talented at drama. I liked Miss Fors in the source material because of our similarities in many things but now I like her even more.

Alright I suppose I should write a letter to her, to set up a basic relationship with her. So that I can court her in a more 'natural' manner. I mean I already know where she lives due to my Omniscient Eye, so address won't be a problem. Anyway it seems like Xio is still not behind bars yet, so I manipulated the events so that she doesn't go there in the future either. I mean truly good people like Xio deserve recognition too, even if I myself am not good doesn't mean I can't admire them. Of course I am not entirely with pure motives there.

So I wrote the letter stating how much me and my sister enjoyed the novel. I especially stated that I loved the supernatural aspect of the novel with the evil spirit. So I suggested in the letter to use more of the supernatural elements in her next novel. I also mentioned that there was an ancient family that was close to my ancestry that has legends of full moon ravings and that many died because of it. I also mentioned some other random supernatural incidents involving werewolves and zombies. After that I closed the letter with a 'hope to see your next bestselling novel soon'. In the post script I added my mailing address in case she needed help with research for supernatural elements.

After writing the letter, I make a prophecy:"After reading the letter Fors Wall gets excited that she found out a clue that may help deal with her problems of full moon ravings that are getting worse lately, so much so that she is almost losing control. So she asks Xio Derecha to investigate Maximilian Hendrix only to find out on the same day that he along with his sister are orphans of a fallen aristocratic family. This alleviates most of their wariness. Xio advises Fors to be cautious, but Fors convinces Xio that this is very important for her survival. And in case the sender has bad intentions then Xio can guard her from him. Fors then proceeds to write a letter to Maximilian stating if they can meet in Kakal Cafe in Cherwood Borough on Tuesday at 10am. This is very reasonable."

Whew so that was that. Anyway, there are no problems with our identities anymore because I had them made in official documentation through mind manipulation and had it sent to Paul's house. So there would be no problems. I guess I am making more effort for a harem rather than fighting Amon or Adam, but then again they won't be a problem after this afternoon.

Anyway I am not going to Saint Samuel Cathedral for prayer today because I am not going there until I have enough to power to battle and escape from Evernight at least. While it might be a good chance to improve my 'relationship' with Audrey but I won't risk my life for it.

In the late afternoon around 3.30 pm. I am in our room alone again. Currently Eva is practicing the art of potion making and other medicines using things I stole from Sanguine labs. This will partially help in acting for her and probably keep her mind away from other useless stuff. It might also restrain some of her urges.

Anyway this time, I used Item Customization function on Trojan Gloves and added a self repairing function on it(can't believe I didn't add it before but then again I was sick back then), I added anti theft function to it too, then the function of summoning them back from wherever I put them. After all that I upgraded its power, before it only had powers of Sequence 2: Trojan Horse of Destiny from Error Pathway but now it has powers of Sequence 0: Error, Sequence 0: Fool and Sequence 0: Door. So now the name will change to Mysterious Gloves since previous name is no longer appropriate. After customization is finished, I wear them again and I can feel the power of authorities it has.

Yup I don't have to fear anyone anymore at least in the mortal world. Also the main reason I decided to upgrade this first rather than Glasses of Almighty or other items is because I am most familiar with these powers. It's also the main reason I want to become Lord of the Mysteries rather than God Almighty.

So should I hunt Amon or should I prepare a present for him first? Hmm I think I will hunt Amon after preparing a present for him. And if Adam comes to save him, well he will go down too. Though I should practice my abilities as much as possible in the meantime to get familiar with them before getting all arrogant.

Story is actually progressing faster than I expected. But it's whatever at this point for me. I will try my best to slow down a little now and make progress in other directions aside from power.
