After a few seconds, Amanises regained her composure and separated from Max. She then made an embarrassed face because of the loss of composure on her part.
"My beloved Goddess you are welcome in my arms anytime," Max says in a joking tone to lighten the atmosphere.
"Maybe I will take you up on that offer," says Amanises in a mischievous tone taking Max by surprise.
'Hmm, humanity is certainly very interesting. 'She' has become much more unpredictable now than before. But I feel that is good in a way for me.' Max thinks and strokes his nonexistent beard in his mind.
"I suppose our time has come to an end. If you would allow me to take my leave, my goddess." Max bows and shows respect with the gesture and ask for the goddess's permission to depart.
"I hope you will visit me every day if you don't mind. It gets quite boring around here alone." Amanises says something a bit unexpected for Max but he nevertheless took it in stride.
'It seems that the loss of humanity when we become long-lived beings has a reason behind it. Since it prevents being bored with life, I suppose divinity helps in that. This is quite interesting and since Evernight has noticed this 'She' wants me to come here to maintain 'Her' sanity as a "human" by being alone for too long. 'She' probably doesn't want other beings to know about 'Her' condition yet. 'She' might also be doing this to protect me. Reading between the lines like this is quite fun.'
He thinks all this in under a millisecond after Amanises invited him there, by accelerating his thoughts to an obscene degree like he always does in these situations.
"I would be glad to visit you as much as I can if that is what you want. As for your boredom, might I suggest you read this story of mine?"
Max says and then envisions a thick book titled "Hunter x Hunter" in Loenese in a novel format. This book contains the story of Hunter x Hunter manga from the beginning till the end of the Yorknew City arc.
This is all part of Max's plan to have Amanises become a fan of some of these fictional fantasy stories so that she might tell her believers to write more stories like this. This will in turn sate his boredom by reading some of these new stories.
'Hehe as expected of me.'
He knows it's a very shallow plan but then again much dumber plans have been successful in his experience so he will give it a shot. As for Amanises noticing him knowing about stuff he shouldn't know about that is nothing new for them since the beginning.
"I hope this will be good," says Amanises after receiving the book.
"I hope so as well. I really put a lot of thought into writing it."
Max says shamelessly with a proud look leaving Amanises speechless.
"If you would be so kind as to let me leave," says Max to Amanises and then as if just remembering something. "Also please don't forget our deal about Moon Uniqueness."
"I will not and farewell for now." Amanises says with some exasperation in her voice.
Max then feels the now familiar darkness covering him and then leaving him at his seat in the cathedral.
Max then notices a certain beautiful girl sitting beside him glancing at him from time to time with a blush on her face.
He first manipulates his surroundings so that nobody will notice anything about what they both are doing or will do.
"Do you have anything to say to me, young miss?"
Max asks the beautiful young girl beside him in a whisper which startles the girl who blushes some more and then looks around to see if anyone noticed. Of course, she was subtle in doing that.
'As expected of a Spectator.'
"Don't worry about the others. Nobody will notice if we talk about anything."
Max says to relax her which she does unknowingly and then she notices something.
"Are you a Beyonder Mr. Hendrix?" She asks him in a calm tone of voice.
"Yes, I am a Beyonder just like you Miss Spectator."
Max affirms her guess in a relaxed manner and also pointed out that she was a Beyonder herself. This leaves the girl a little wary but mostly embarrassed.
"Also please just call me Maximilian or just Max. After all, you are part of the Tarot Club." Max drops another bomb on the young girl. "Aren't you? Miss Justice."
"How do you know about that?!" Miss Justice says in a panicked voice and then continues as if in realization, "Also who are you? Are you by any chance Mr. Fool?"
At the end of that statement, she even feels some excitement.
"Close enough Miss Justice. The being you call Mr. Fool is my subordinate archangel. He was attempting to contact me from that castle because he was having trouble with his divinity when he summoned you guys there." Max makes up a story on the spot for what Klein did.
"Oh," exclaims Miss Justice in realization and then continues. "Does that mean you are a god?"
"Not yet but I won't lose to any god in a fight." Max says confidently with a smirk on his face. Further amplifying the admiration that Miss Justice has for this deplorable man. A naive girl indeed.
"Then why are you here in the Goddess's cathedral?" Miss Justice asks with some excitement.
"Well, I just had some things to discuss with the Goddess. We can be considered good friends so you don't need to worry about me or Fool if you want to pray to 'Her'. Also, can I call you Audrey while we are here?"
He first brags about things and then asks her politely if he can call her by name to which she just shyly nods and then murmurs and repeats to herself "Max" many times in a very low voice.
Of course, Max notices it but doesn't pay much attention to such actions. Since it will result in the desired outcome for him.
"So Audrey remember on the next Monday gathering of Tarot Club, I will be there organizing it since that castle is originally mine. Please don't call me Max there. Call me Mr. Error since that can be considered my title."
After that, they talk some more about some things. Max also tells her his honorific name if she ever needs help.
"So I will now take my leave, Audrey." Max says and then gets up and kisses the back of her hand in a gentlemanly manner. "It was nice meeting you."
"Likewise," says Audrey with a very prominent blush on her face. Max then proceeds to leave the cathedral with a smile on his face and deactivating his manipulation of the surroundings.
"What a playboy," says a certain female who peeked at their conversation from the beginning till the end. Her voice contains some exasperation, amusement, and some well-hidden irritation.

So that was the chapter. Hope you liked it.
Sorry for not posting a chapter yesterday but I have a valid reason for not posting one yesterday. It was because I read something I shouldn't have read. And it was stuck in my head because it was kinda good. It made me question my life choices honestly. Anyways I have barely recovered today so here is the chapter.
Evernight Goddess's personality change is mainly because of the restoration of her humanity. Max calls it better for himself because he does not like how gods act like machines almost because of their divinity, humanity gives them more character and he likes that much more.
I used Grammarly for this chapter so do tell me if this was better grammar-wise or if it was better before.
