But to hold these Families there naturally needed to be space. So Samuels next large project began. Over the next three months Samuel began to sell the Spiritual Stones collected and purchased all of the surrounding buildings.

And after three months passed the construction officially began. Samuel even sold one of the Pseudo Artifacts in order to earn the millions of credits building up a large wall creating the compound about the same size as a city on Earth! It was huge!

Although still much smaller than the average Rank E Compound it was still giant. THere were easily ten skyscrapers in the mix with hundreds of rooms, dozens of apartment buildings were spread throughout the Compound.

Any unrelated person was expelled from the Compound and all shops and factories were requisitioned and put under A2s businesses control.

Samuel also put into play his longer term idea. A large underground base.

Naturally not everything can be done above ground, a lot of stuff needs to be hidden. Such as the Portal to the Ruin, the Treasury and the hidden warriors practice location.

So Samuel planned on connecting the entire underground into one large underground base with the Dogs of Wars original building as the centre! But the cost was estimated to be insane so Samuel had to put it on hold for now.

Naturally this expansion couldn't hide from the view of others, but A1 bribed the Sealife Organisation with a Pseudo Artifact so they turned a blind eye and everything went smoothly.

Samuel stood on the top floor of the HeadQuarters and looked over the large compound. He never imagined he would control such a large space.

But he still thought it looked a little bare. Including all Dogs of War and their Partners, and even the 20 new children who were born over the last months the population is still below 1,000. Far from enough to fit within a Compound large enough for millions.

Although the dogs of War have been finding dozens of new partners, it's still a fraction of what Samuel wants. So for the following month a boom happened.

Various families across the entire city found that their children were suddenly finding partners.

Daughters said goodbye to their families and moved into the Dogs of War Compound, and even barely of age daughters were married off by parents wanting to get some benefits.

By the end of it Samuels Dogs of War had another 1,000 Partners of various talents and Genders.

But despite this size it actually didn't draw much attention in a city with over a hundred million people.

However Samuels excitement was palpable. He truly realised how powerful this system was allowing every child to have a Spiritual Root. According to his estimates there are already more than 100 pregnant women including A4 and A5 within the compound.

That's 100 more warriors! And this is just the start!

Although Samuel did find that the chances of the Children having the talents and the auras of the Parents is incredibly low. Out of all 35 Second Generation Dogs of War only around 5 actually have any talents or Auras.

The other 30 were just regular babies with a 1 Inch Spiritual Root. Their development potential is extremely limited. But Samuel did live up to his promise of providing all of them with common herbs.

Rather than using the Spiritual Crystals earnt over this time on Dogs of War, he spent it all on Common Herbs stacking the Organisations Treasury to the brink of filling. So he expanded it.

Increased it from one layer to ten. Each with a Warrior over 60 guarding it.

And the benefits of marrying Warriors Children began to show. When the Father-In-Law found that their children had a Spiritual Root, they often sent various resources that they found for the child's development.

One of the more experienced ones actually sent over a Berry like Spiritual Fruit for their grandson to consume. And naturally Samuel didn't interfere and took it away from the newborn and it would be fed to him as soon as he's old enough to eat it.

Things like that happened with many of the newborns. Although Samuel hid the news about many of them having Spiritual Roots, after all it would be too terrifying if it came out, many families were still happy to have Grandchildren.

So they sent their daughters various amounts of credits and family Heirlooms. All of which ended up in the Organisations vaults.

As for the Credits, they were all spent. Samuel saw no real value in hoarding Credits; they were equivalent to an artificial currency after all. Although in name they were valuable, Samuel thought it was better to at least trade them in for resources.

Of course these resources weren't limited to Herbs, he purchased a lot of meat from dead beasts, food stocks that could last for years and even basic tools where stocked up.

Samuel even specifically built large warehouses in the compound to store the common resources, including multiple fridges able to keep objects cold permanently as long as there's power.

Although it might seem ridiculous that Samuel was willingly purchasing mortal materials like stone and metals, he actually did it for an important reason.

One is to take advantage of the low prices so he could use it for expansions in the future. The other is to be able to use the tools and materials to steadily build the underground facilities.

And finally it's a safety net in case of a race war. During a Race war everyone is limited to their cities, and Warrior Organisations stay in their Compounds when possible.

The only time you leave is to fight against enemy invaders.
