Knowing this, the Kun Peng tore the dimension, utilizing the spatial distortion to warp through the space around Azure Dragon Emperor.

At this time, the Phoenix emperor and Xuanwu emperor were locked in mortal combat. The Phoenix emperor had previously immolated himself to boost his flames with his own life force. As a result, his lifespan was on the verge of withering away. On the other hand, the combat power he could exert right now, was downright terrifying. The Xuanwu emperor defended with all its might, attempting to avoid injuries till the Phoenix emperor burned through the last of his lifespan and passed away.

Alas, both of them were divine beasts, with the Phoenix being specialized in the art of flames. As a result, even though the Xuanwu had divine water arts, the Phoenix's flames boosted with its life force was completely overpowering the other, blazing through his water magic and landing direct hits on the Xuanwu.

The Xuanwu was specialized in defense, and it was difficult to injure him. Yet the Phoenix emperor in his current state was more than qualified. Some of his attacks hit the Xuanwu emperor's shell, leaving huge burn marks and heating up the shell, roasting the Xuanwu's flesh inside. Meanwhile, some of the flames struck the Xuanwu's exposed flesh directly, charring the exposed portions directly.

The Xuanwu emperor was terrified. While the plan he had concocted with Kun Peng emperor was solid, he did not take into account the phoenix emperor's terrifying strength.

In order to save himself, the Xuanwu emperor had no choice but to burn his own life force as well. Immediately, his defense became incredibly tough, stopping the phoenix flames. However, the damage was already done. The Xuanwu, in that one attack, had taken enough damage to place his life in peril. Of course, unlike the phoenix emperor, there was still a way out for him since he hadn't waited till he was near death to use such a method. After waiting out the phoenix emperor's death, he could leave this place while the others fought.

The phoenix emperor grew even more enraged when he saw that he couldn't harm the Xuanwu emperor anymore. Despair welled up in its proud eyes. However, at this time, a loud boom rang out through the space. The surviving emperors all turned to look.

The Azure Dragon was currently standing opposite the Kun Peng, his hand bloodied as the Kun Peng emperor had a deep gash on his chest, which had been pierced through.

Seeing this scene, fear arose in Xuanwu emperor's heart.

Being entrapped in the forest world created by the Azure Dragon emperor, he had been delayed long enough for the mighty Azure Dragon emperor to land his blow, dealing severe damage and instantly killing the comparatively weaker Kun Peng emperor.

The Kun Peng emperor was also gravely injured, and the Qilin and Fox emperor's had also dealt great damage to each other. As such, the only one left unharmed was the Azure Dragon emperor. Realizing this, the other demon emperors regained some control over their emotions, stopping their mad fighting to set their eyes on the Azure Dragon emperor.

The Azure Dragon emperor shuddered. He had figured out how to deal with the Xuanwu and Kun Peng emperors' scheme by taking out the Kun Peng with haste, but landed himself in even bigger troubles. Now he was targeted by everyone.

The Xuanwu emperor was rejoicing. The Qilin and Fox emperor would probably deal with Azure Dragon emperor first, further weakening themselves, allowing him to perhaps kill them and to take the opportunity hidden in the planet.

Sighing, he turned his eyes towards the Xuanwu demon emperor. The demon world obeyed the lord of the jungle. Even if he died, his clan could get by when they submitted to the new supreme Demon emperor. However, if that supreme figure happened to be the Xuanwu emperor, the other three divine beast races would be wiped out by him as a result of their previous grudges. There would be no way out for any of the Azure Dragon emperor's clansmen.

Thinking of this, his eyes reddened as he immediately set his life force on fire before taking the initiative to attack the Xuanwu demon emperor.

Phoenix emperor, on his last legs, couldn't be bothered about anything else. So, when the Kun Peng emperor was killed, he took advantage of Xuanwu emperor's distraction to build up and condense all his strength into one spell, which he fired at this time. A blood red flame phoenix materialized and charged at high speed straight at Xuanwu emperor's head.

Meanwhile the Azure Dragon emperor descended into the Xuanwu emperor with all his strength, burning away most of his lifespan to wrap his body with the most condensed energy possible which he shot at the Xuanwu's tail.

Faced with attacks from both frenzied emperor's, the Xuanwu defended with all he had, retreating into his shell, which lit up with dark green runes powered by his life force.

The Qilin emperor and Fox emperor watched on as this scene played out, unwilling to kill each other only for the last of the four divine beast emperors to take advantage of the situation.

As the blood phoenix flames and the Azure Dragon reached the Xuanwu, as soon as they made impact, a devastating shock wave swept out, engulfing that part of the dimension, and preventing others from approaching or even seeing anything.

As the Qilin and Fox emperor focused their eyes, they saw an apparition of the Phoenix emperor. Their pupils constricted as they saw the apparition slowly turn into specks of golden red light particles and fade away. The Phoenix emperor had run out of life force and perished.

Meanwhile, the Xuanwu's shell was completely obliterated, and his body was covered in shocking wounds.

He was on the verge of death and had lost consciousness.

Most surprising of all was the Azure Dragon Emperor, who had been at the center of the explosive impact. Half of his body was annihilated, and the void surrounding him was covered in blood.
