Fiend Lord

Southaven City, Silver Dragon Domain.

Silverwing Tower, one of the largest skyscraper and an icon of the Southaven city. It was built combined with the latest technology and ancient architecture giving it a Royal look.

At that moment, a heavy atmosphere enveloped the 45th, the highest floor of the building. A middle-aged man who exuded the air of a leader sat in the throne-like couch, decked in a silk robe which had an exquisite silver-wing symbol printed upon his chest and back.

He's none other than the Ruling master of the Silver Dragon Domain, Halzix Silverwing.

Right now, he was in deep thought finished reading the letter addressed to him, "Sun Guardian Whitesword personally delivered this message?"

"Yes, Ruling Master Halzix" replied a green-haired man who looked around 30.

"How did it come to this?" Halzix asked.

The green-haired man explained everything he heard from the group who came back from the Silver Mist region.

After hearing everything from the green-haired man, Halzix stood up from his heat. Even though he's going to reach 50 in a few months, he looked nothing of that sort with muscular body, above six feet height, and fair skin.

Halzix took a deep breath to calm his anger. The instigator of this problem is someone named Zhyho, a nobody with a jealous heart.

If it isn't for him, none of this would have happened. Now, they need to quench the anger of the 'Demoness of the Blue orchid academy' and hinder old man Mesryth's from seeking revenge.

But if he did as she asked, it would anger Old man Mesryth and may potentially weaken their relationship. It would also make others question his authority, power, influence, and cause distrust.

Because what happens to Garyx may happen to another youth in the future, so he can't let the killer of the genius of the Silver dragon domain roam free.

If it's any other person he would do whatever it takes to make them disappear. He has the strength and power to back his words but not 'her'.

He already clashed with her once, eight years ago when she was just another young genius.

The green-haired man who left the room heaved a huge sigh. Even though it may seem he was alone in the room with the Ruling master, he felt all of his movements were under constant watch.

"Protector Clif, you know her better than me. You can do whatever it takes to appease her anger, I just want to settle this issue, peacefully." Halzix spoke.

From the shadows of the room came an aged voice, 'Ok'.

Fiend Continent,

The Fiend continent was once called the Lost continent because of a lack of vegetation present here. The continent is tiny, it's size was just a thousandth of the human continent.

There were no rivers, lakes except for the ocean surrounding them and there were no forest or farming land too.

It was a desolate place filled with rocks, valleys, mountains, and cracked grounds.

But located at the center of the Fiend continent is Fiend City—flourished by majestic trees, man-made ponds, and clean and fresh air surrounded the city, unlike the other areas.

The entire city is walled and protected by Fiend Soldiers and there are even some Fiend commanders. The city behind the wall is only as big as the Silver Mist region but it was prosperous and lined with modernized houses.

No humans would believe if someone told them the Fiends were living as luxurious as them. Actually, it's not some secret. Fiends have spies among the humans, so was the humans.

But, only some upper echelons of the Human Union were privy to such information.

There are around 50 Million peoples live in the Fiend continent and most of the Fiends have human ancestry.

Yes, to increase the population of Fiends and strengthen his force, the humans were abducted from the human continent and forced to breed for them.

Their children will be trained as Fiends and taught Fiend techniques. It was happening for many years, now the Fiends forces are powerful and strong as humans.

It's cruel, but humans can't stop it. Even now, some of the humans were abducted and used.

Located at the center of the Fiend city is a huge palace, filled with guards and beautiful maids; there are also gardens, pools, and training fields.

It's the Fiend Lord's Residence and only a few peoples are permitted inside; Fiend Kings, and some of Fiend Lord's favorite disciples like Zhyler and Hadeon.

It's the most guarded and mysterious place in Fiend city. At that moment, inside one of the large halls,

Zhyler and Hadeon were in their knees and heads facing the ground, ashamed of their failure.

"Rise, both of you. If what you said is true and the spirit governing the Inheritance ground is still living, then it's not entirely your fault.

It's a miscalculation in my part, I thought the lack of energy and long years would have destroyed it. If it's still alive, then we can't hope to get the Starstone. This trip is a failure.

The dark shadow sitting before them was calm throughout the speech. As if nothing in the world can infuriate him, even the failure of obtaining the Starstone didn't affect him much.

"Leave, tell Orfeo and Rath, I want to see them." Fiend Lord said. Without any words, Zhyler and Hadeon left the hall.

As soon as Zhyler and Hadeon left the hall, the shadowy figure stood up from his seat and muttered, "It won't be long before my lifespan expires. I have to select a candidate sooner, Zhyler is a good candidate and was even able to discover 11 hidden seals. It's just he's too weak.
