Climbing the Arena.

"So I can revive that Gaia woman with this item? I will try it later and just go do something else now."

Infront of me was the Gates of Hell's Arena, I'm currently ranked gold, To be recognised by the greater forces, I need to level up to atleast Master rank.

I push open the doors..

"Would you like to Gates Of Hell?"

"Yes." I replied, it transported me into the Colosseum.

"First enemy has been found, battle will start in 3 seconds."

Start.

Infront of me was someone I recognised from back then when I first joined this game.

It's the Berserker that I encountered while fighting in floor 39th gatekeeper.

"You!?" He seemed just as surprised as I was.

"I forfeit." Said the Berserker as the Victory message popped up in my system given phone.

This time, I ranked up to Platinum, since I was in the edge of Gold's rankings.

"This is going to be easy."

The next games were... The same as before.

"I forfeit."

"I lose."

"I don't want to fight."

"Match has been found."

"Opponent has forfeited, Challenger has automatically won by default."

I ranked up to diamond without having to fight even a single round.

But that's when things became hard and took an interesting turn.

I encounted famous guild leaders and vice leaders.

"Kim Soongu

Leader of the Hunter's Association has accepted your challenge."

He was the first to not back down, this will be interesting.. is what I thought.

Infront of me, was the screen of being defeated.

The second the match started, he picked up a chain that was supposed to bind the Colosseum's ground and tied his sword to it.

It was a long range weapon, but he was fast, I tried blocking it with Kuroka but all was useless infront of the devastating damage that chain dealt.

0 damage was dealt when the sword touched my body, but half of my hp was drained the second that chain touches me.

He used his spinning momentum to defeat me, getting faster each rotation.

Learning from enemies is a crucial step to getting the All Rounder class in this game.

My rank was lost, and I was pushed back into Platinum.

"I will use his tactic starting now."

The platinums were passed by easily with my strength stat, I needn't use Kuroka without warning, my fists were enough.

Now, I was back to Diamond, Io matches with him again.

Was it a coincidence? I think not.

It was like he was the gatekeeper to the diamond rank.

"You're not qualified." He said with an evil smile on his face.

"You piss me off, I will end this quick."

2 chains were binding the arena, if one of them are taken, the other can support the arena, but what if we both took one for ourselves?

It would seem as if though nothing would happen, but it is more than likely that both of us will face a penalty.

So the one who can pick the chain up first wins.

This is a game of speed, whoever is faster, wins.

The game begun, Without a second gone to waste, I dash to pick the chain up first.

But that sneaky bastard, was obviously faster, he underestimates me.

"Instead of defending like last time, what if I go on attacking for the offense from the start?"

This seemed like a nice strategy, but that man had already seen through me.

So I had to scrap that plan.

"Well, Fuck this, I'm going on offense obviously."

"Come forth, Warrior who dares to trespass to the domain of gods."

"Fuck you mean domain of gods? Are you right in the mind old fart?"

"That's quite an outrageous speech you have presented there warrior, yes you're right. No mortal has been able to pass the 1st battle of Diamond rank, you need to be able to be atleast defeat the 50th floor boss on your own to have a chance to win."

"Does it really matter?"

"Yes, it does."

"Let us begin the battle."

"Start!" He raises his right hand and drops it indicating that I can start the attack.

I'm not the kind of person that will let go of such a good offer.

"I will gladly take initiative." I summon Kuroka and wield with my right hand as I use magic with my left.

"An old trick, I see."

He swings the steel chain whip once again like the last time.

Because of it being heavy, I could easily slide through from the distance it had between the ground and the chain.

"Easy isn't it." Said the man in the Armor wielding the chain.

Diverting my attention he changed the direction of the chain mid air.

"I didn't want to use this ability but here goes nothing."

"Huh?" Replied the man in a confused vibe.

"Dimensional Rift."

The ability I got after defeating the giant that gave me this sword, Creates a gap in the world, basically a black hole, sucking up everything that is near it, except the one who summoned it.

"Great ability, The chain and sword are gone, but do you think you can win with me in a physical fight?" Said the man with pride.

"Pride pisses me off the most, and who said I was going to fight you with my sword?"

"What? You don't even have magic power to use magic anymore, how can you fight?"

"Magic power? The fuck is that? It's not a special skill of any sort, it's just an ability, it doesn't cost me magic power."

"Are you literally joking with me right now?"

"No I'm not, here." I use fire magic to make a huge ball of fire and raise my corresponding hand and direct it towards him.

"Shit, I don't have any defensive items on me."

"That guy probably used all his stat points on ATK and STR, He deserved it."
