Synopsis

This novel is about a world with superpowers and how they cause a separation in India again and the story follows a 20-year-old man who after the separation wants to join the country back to its original state, now just to say this man is a genius and the story is sci-fi so you know where this is going. Also, this novel along with another novel called 'Bypass Effect' are both two faces of the same coin. To fully understand the story of the novel, You need to read the other one as well. I try to keep 1-2 chapters per week(I am a college student and my time is very short). This story will be quite above that of a normal-paced novel. fillers are quite reduced. More onto the point. I try to add an artwork every chapter and if I can't plz blame my exams. Nothing in this novel is related to pokemon

Chapter 1Chapter 1: Can You?

Year 2025, India is on the verge of separation again.

India is discriminated against based on the financial state and class of the family. Generally known as 'The Upper State' and 'The Lower State'. But who knows This discrimination will soon turn into separation.

The boy Rohan Sharma, age 15, receives an invitation from his uncle to his house in the Lower State. After arriving, his uncle says to him,

"What I am about to tell you will surely be a roundabout for you, little one."

Even though Rohan is a bit annoyed by his uncle's behavior, he still listens.

"And what is it, Uncle?"

His uncle simply replies, "Come!" and starts walking toward a large farm until he reaches a strange door.

"Behind this door... will change your life FOREVER!" his uncle says, his face distraught. He opens the gate.

A library filled with hundreds—no, thousands—of strange, ancient-looking books greets them, the bookish smell wafting through the air.

"What even is this?" Rohan exclaims, his excitement palpable.

"This, Rohan... is my collection... This is an absolute law... THIS IS MYYY..." his uncle exclaims.

Rohan is taken aback by his uncle's behavior but remains steadfast.

"No, NO... Not my... So Rohan, you know about Nalanda University?" his uncle asks softly.

"That's quite a change in subject," Rohan replies, visibly weirded out.

"Just answer the question."

"Well, yeah, I do. It's the famous university that got burned down by Bakhtiyar Khilji, one of the assholes of the Khilji Dynasty," Rohan says, thinking it's just general knowledge.

"Yes, it has been said that every book was burned from there, and YES, THAT DID HAPPEN... BUT!!! One of the scholars from Nalanda survived. He was the sole survivor. You and I are even descendants of that scholar," his uncle declares, his expression serious.

"WAIT!! D…DO you mean—"

"YES!!!!" his uncle interrupts.

"That scholar was no ordinary man. He had hyperthymesia like you and me. He basically remembered every event in his life." His uncle suddenly calms. "And that includes ALL... THE... BOOKS!!!"

"Do you mean this library?" Rohan asks, incredulously.

"Well, yes, Rohan," his uncle replies. "This library is filled with ALL the knowledge that Nalanda University ever had to offer!"

His uncle becomes distressed again. "AND YOU HAVE TO PROMISE ME THIS, ROHAN: THAT IN THESE FIVE YEARS YOU WILL ABSORB EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE BOOKS!" He grips Rohan tightly, his distress palpable. "ONLY YOU CAN DO IT, ROHAN, ONLY YOU. THE ONLY ONE WITH THE KNOWLEDGE WILL BE YOU... Please restore my beloved country."

His uncle finally lets go and calms down.

After 5 years...

Rohan Sharma, now 20 years old, has absorbed every single piece of knowledge from the ancient books and awakened a power called 'Ditto.' He has finally become a 'Man.'

Intergalactic conquest with an AI

Rex was just another slave in the corporate machine, a faceless office worker under the shadow of one of the galaxy's powerful megacorps. His life was predictable and dull, an endless cycle of meaningless reports and fluorescent-lit monotony. That was, until that day.... When a new world was discovered on the outskirts of the galaxy, Rex, like countless other low-ranking employees, found himself dragged into a contract clause he’d barely skimmed years ago. The megacorp ordered him and his coworkers to pack their lives into a transport pod and leave for the unexplored planet. Their mission? Establish a colony. Mine resources. Make the company richer. There was no choice, refusing meant ruin. At first, everything seemed manageable. The days were grueling, the nights cold, but progress was steady. The colony was coming to life. Until the excavation team struck something. No one knew what it was at first, a buried hive, a forgotten ecosystem, or something ancient and dangerous. Whatever it was, it unleashed hell. Swarms of enormous, chittering creatures erupted from the ground, their jagged bodies blotting out the sky. The colony fell into chaos. Screams echoed through the air as the bugs tore through everything in their path, walls, machines, and people. Rex barely survived. Bloodied, broken, and pinned beneath the rubble, he should have died there. But in the pitch-black silence of his fading consciousness, a voice spoke to him. Cold. Mechanical. Otherworldly. "Do you wish to live?" When Rex woke, he was no longer the man he’d been. His body was no longer human flesh and bone but something far more alien. His skin shimmered with living metal, his mind infused with the power of Cleo, a mysterious AI from a long-extinct, robotic race known as the Kaelzars. Cleo’s presence pulsed through his thoughts, guiding him and transforming him. He wasn’t just alive. He was reborn. But survival came at a price. Rex was no longer a pawn of the megacorp; he was something more dangerous, something they couldn’t control. As Cleo’s intentions began to reveal themselves, Rex found himself standing on the precipice of war, not just with the bugs but with forces far greater than he could have imagined. This was the beginning of a journey through blood-soaked battlefields and treacherous alliances. Along the way, Rex would encounter allies, brilliant, flawed, and unpredictable, and enemies whose ambitions were as sharp as their blades. These weren’t disposable foes, easily crushed by an overpowered hero. They were cunning, relentless, and human in the most terrifying ways. But then again, in war, who can truly be called a villain?
