Dimensional Overhaul

What was the gods' best creation? Was it man? Could it be the stars that we all gaze upon? Planets that hold life? Or probably the various dimensions that hold all? The answer is simple, the universe! The same universe that comprises all these wonderful creations. The food we eat, the people we look up to, and the mountains which stretch beyond the clouds are all part of one universe. And among the variety of races, one stood among them all. A race yielding the strongest type of magic, black magic. They were the Genois race. The fact that they were the strongest clouded their minds, why not unify the universe? They thought. During their rein, they forcibly made other races kneel before them and those who resisted were killed. Upon a mountain of bloodshed, a single man rose to the task of defeating the Genois race. Some called him a 'reaper', others 'a savior' while others squandered his name calling him a murderer. The single man possessed a special type of visual prowess known as Tsujigens. The five Tsujigens: Tsujigen of force, Tsujigen of space, Tsujigen of time, Tsujigen of power, and the Tsujigen illusion made him an unstoppable force. With this power, he wiped out the Genois race leaving none. Blessing other races with freedom. He was hailed as a god! Mysterious as a ghost! Yet still a lone man. Alas, not even his mortal body could handle his power causing him to erode. Before his death, he shared his Tsujigens for the next generation in hopes of his resurrection. In the present, a boy awoke in an unfamiliar world, with no memories of the past, and is left with a symbolic tattoo on his arm which possesses odd powers. In a universe where magic is the norm, Kevin travels to different worlds, unique in their way, to reclaim his lost memories.

Norm's past part 3

" Things get more stressful by the minute," a female voice spoke.

"Tsujigen of force, huh? Why would a big shot come over here?" This time a rather deep voice said.

"That's what I want to know,".

Surrounded by unfamiliar voices, Norm began to regain consciousness. Cold air blew against her face as her eyes fluttered. When she woke up, she was greeted by the sight of an incredibly ugly humanoid face. In shock, she fell off the bed and crawled to the corner of the room. Her first thought was that she might have been kidnapped.

"Relax little one! I will not hurt you. It's funny how you worship us but yet still cower at the sight of us," the Yemen spoke as it gave out a light laugh.

However, that was the tactic every pedophile says to claim their victim, for all she could know maybe it was a man casting an illusion. After all, why would she be saved by the yetis when no one was even allowed to talk to them. Trying to defend herself, she grabbed a stick that was conveniently beside her and pointed it at the creature.

"Now is that how you thank you one who saved your life?" a rather young woman said. Unlike the Yemen, to Norm her appearance was dazzling. She possessed blue eyes, blue hair and wore a white garment.

'An Ampler?'.

"Who are you?" Norm said still pointing the stick at them as if it were a weapon.

"Jane, the queen of yetis and your in my home. This here is Tyne, a Yemen," She introduced.

"An Ampler?" Norm recognized the familiar features of the Amplers.

"Ah yes, I am," She confirmed.

Now that Norm had a good look at her surroundings, she realized everything was constructed of ice. Even the bed she slept on, which explained why her back was aching.

Once the introductions were out of the way, Jane got into a serious mood which slightly made Norm scared.

"Tell me little one, what is your name?".

"Norm!" She answered straight away.

"Ok Norm, do you know why that man was in your village?" Jane asked.

Like a trigger, Norm began to recall all the events, her friends, loved ones, neighbors and most of all her dad dying brutally. Tears slowly seeped out from her eyes as she nodded signifying her lack of knowledge.

"Sadly your family is all dead," Tayn said in his usual dark voice.

"But fortunately, our queen has allowed you to live among us,".

"Us?" Norm asked.

Norm eventually dropped the stick as Jane gently held her hand. Walking towards the door, and gently pushed the ice door open revealing a snowy mountain completely inhabited by yetis.

"From now on, you shall live among those you worshipped, the yetis!" Jane exclaimed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Five years passed since Norm joined the yetis and during that time she learned the way of the yeti. How to hunt, fight and most importantly to survive. However, after these years Norm's appearance did not change in the slightest. Tayn, who was a Yemen who pursued the path of science explained that due to her deviant element's cold nature, her cells are somehow been freezing without her dying. As a result she may age a bit before her growth completely stops.

She also was able to learn more about the yetis, specifically Yemen. Apparently, only Yemen could talk due to them previously being an intelligent race where as normal yetis were born as such. Unlike in the future, Jane never forced yetification on anyone. She only performed it in those who wished it. Some may ask why would someone want to become a yeti? When one acquires a fatal disease or injury, the yetification could actually heal such fatal things.

Among the yetis, she once again felt at home, a family she that she would be determined not to lose again.

Every morning, as usual, she would continue to practice utilizing her deviant element. However, one morning she noticed Tayn walking to the bottom of the mountain. Of course him walking down was nothing out of the ordinary but he carried a bouquet of flowers which earned Norm's curiosity.

As such she quietly followed him to a graveyard. Looking around intensely, Tayn walked towards the last grave which had the name John Drat on it.

'Is that not the queen's father?' Norm thought while remembering her own father.

"Sorry for coming so late, your daughter has grown into a fine dependable queen," Tayn spoke to the grave.

Hearing Tayn talk to the grave put a pinch of sadness in Norm, it sort of reminded her of her own parents. She would die to get a chance to speak to them again.

"Maybe one day, she can help do greater things. However I will no longer be there, for my time has come," Tayn said while his eyes became soggy.

Upon hearing this, Norm came out of hiding to confront him about what he just said.

"What are you talking about?" Norm questioned.

Hearing her voice, he was slightly startled causing him to stumble to the ground. At this point he could not feign ignorance, so be decided to tell the truth even though Jane restricted anyone from telling her.

"Tell me!" she ordered.

"We are dying!".

"What do you mean dying?".

"For some unknown reason, the life span of yetis keep reducing as though we are infected with some sort of virus. We are dying faster than we can reproduce,".

Norm's eyes nearly sank into their sockets, she mumbled a bit before asking another question.

"And what it Jane doing about it?".

"Nothing, she is not a god. Even she cannot do anything,".

Norm clicked her tongue as she thought of another solution. After minutes of thinking, she finally came up with a response.

"What if I use my deviant element to stop your aging like I did mine?".

Shaking his head Tayn responded," It will not work. The sole reason why you do not age is because everytime your mana is transformed into magic, a frosting sensation flows through your whole body, gradually slowing down your cell growth. However to do that to someone else you would need a god like precision in order to freeze their cells.

And even if you could, you would need to repeat the process over and over again to prevent the cells from unfreezing,".

Realizing she was once again going to lose her family, she stormed off to Jane thinking that the queen will surely have to know a way to preserve the yeti race.

Without knocking, Norm barged into Jane's room which greatly shocked her.

"What is it Norm? It must be something important if you of all people did not knock before entering," Jane said in a calm voice while sitting down on a chair, looking at some papers.

"Do you know?" she shouted.

"I'm not a wizard, tell me in detail,".

"The yetis are dying," she yelled.

Hearing this, Jane released a long sigh before sighing," this is why I did not want you to know!".

"So you knew,".

"Yes I did!".

"What are you going to about it?" Norm asked praying for a reasonable answer.

"Nothing.... there is nothing I can do," she responded, breaking Norm's hopes in the process.

"What about forcing the villagers to hand over children, then we turn them into-"

"No! Never think of that. Are you that desperate?" Jane hissed.

"Hmph, that's why you are not fit to be queen!".

"What did you say?" Jane shouted as she instantly got up in rage.

"If your not going to protect our race.... then I will," Norm said with a face full of resolve as she activated her deviant element.

Sorry for the wait, but I finally got a chapter out. By the way, who enjoyed their Christmas?
