Ch. 37

(Rias PoV)

When I opened my eyes, I suddenly remembered what I had just done earlier.

'That was me?!!' I can't believe it, I didn't expect that I could eradicate a horde of beasts just like that.

When I'm finally awake both in mind and body, I noticed that I could feel someone carrying me, and blasts of wind were hitting my face making my hair sway on the back.

When I looked at the one who is carrying me, I saw my familiar cousin, Sairaorg.

"Saira?" I muttered.

"Hey, you. You're finally awake." Before Sairaorg could greet me, I heard a voice behind me and saw 5 fallen angels, flying behind us.

And the one who saw that was a man wearing a long brown coat and a hat while in his hand is a holy gun that was used by exorcists.

"Fallen Angels?!" I muttered in shock.

"Since you're awake can you stand on your own?" Sairaorg finally said.

I heard what he said and I nodded, in fact, I feel even better.

Once, we reached the ground, I stepped down from his arms and looked behind us, and saw that the fallen angels also reached the ground.

(3rd PoV)

"Looks like you guys are exhausted." Raynare scoffed while reaching the ground followed by her team.

Rias just smiled at her, she was confident that she, Sona, and Sairaorg could defeat the group of fallen angels especially after seeing what she had just done earlier.

Aura of destruction blasts out of her, making her surroundings turns into ash.

Meanwhile, Sona just backed away while Sairaorg just protected himself using touki.

The fallen angels were shocked by the show of power, so they also released their light aura's but compared to Rias's, their auras looked like an ant in front of her.

Sona decided to make a move first and cast the same spell earlier and a water dragon bursts out of her magic circle but the dragon is much smaller compared to the dragon earlier the fallen angels sighed in relief, when they saw the dragon at first they were scared and was ready to fly away but seeing that the dragon is much smaller they gained confidence and fought back.

Raynare was the first to counterattack by launching several light spears toward the dragon who dodges the spears making Raynare sneer followed by the rest who also started attacking the dragon.

"Then, take this!" Raynare yelled before launching several spears that the dragon can't dodge so it decided to take the attack head-on.

"Hah! Fool!" Raynare sneered and mocked.

"....Ha....Me....." Then they heard someone's voice and turns to look at the source just to see Rias with her legs spread out and both of her tiger claws positioned hand was on her side both facing each other upside down.

While inside the gap of the fingers was a glowing purple ball that spells danger for them.

"Haaaaaa!!!!!" Rias yelled and spread her palms forwards releasing the chaotic ball of destruction that released a beam of destruction, decimating everything on its path making the fallen angels shudder in fear and dodged.

But too bad for them, they were too late and the beam managed to hit their sides while Freed was the unlucky one since he wasn't a fallen angel and only a human, he didn't manage to dodge in time and the beam of destruction decimated him into ashes.

The ring that he wears didn't even manage to save him in time.

Though, he managed to scream for the last time, "AAAAHHHHHhhhhh!..." The beam soon died off along with Freed while the remaining four fallen angels were scared shitless.

Meanwhile, Rias just stared at the destruction she just caused courtesy of Son Goku in the Dragon Ball anime that she watched during her free time.

"Didn't expect that'd work," Rias muttered.

"Is that Son Goku's signature move?" Sona walked forward and asked her.

Which Rias nodded in confirmation, "I didn't expect watching those cartoons will help you recreate a technique." Sona continued.

"It's not cartoons, It's ANIME!" Rias yelled in 'annoyance' before continuing, "And besides, aren't our magic systems based upon our imagination? So that's probably why I could recreate the technique."

Sona nodded and said, "As much as I would like to talk to you about magic, I think we should focus on our current problem now." They could see the fallen angels readying their light spears when they suddenly heard footsteps making them turn their heads to the side and they saw 5 persons walking side by side.

"Did we perhaps disturb something?" Akeno asks while staring at them.

"Nothing, we were just about to finish our battle." Rias shook her head and said.

"I see, then can we join? Who're the bad guys?" Akeno asks while still looking at them.

"Uhhhh... I think us?" Rias confusedly said.

"I see." Akeno nodded.

"Then we'll go on our way first, good luck on your fight," Akeni said before slowly walking away but before she could take a step, she immediately turns around and grabbed the light spear thrown at her.

"Impossible!" Raynare who saw Akeno turning around decided to take the chance and threw a light spear at her unsuspecting back.

But she didn't expect the 'human' would even be able to sense a light spear, not to mention catch it with their bare hands.

"Is this yours?" Akeno asks her before continuing, Here you go." And with a flick of her hand, the light spear flew very fast and shot at the tree behind Raynare who was frozen in fear, while a red thin line appeared on her cheeks with a drop of blood falling out it.

"Oops, I miss. But there won't be next time." Akeno cutely said in her first sentence but turns cold in her last sentence.

Raynare didn't even move before waking up when Kalawarna patted her shoulder.

"They're gone," Kalawarna said while sweating a bit. The same could be said of others along with Rias and her group.

"W-well, let's resume our fight." After a painstakingly minute of silence, Rias finally broke it off with a challenge.
