Ch. 36

Xyrus just received Demiurge's report about the attackers and when he heard that Grim Reapers were the attackers he could finally deduce why Hades has been fidgeting lately.

"Guess I'll punish another God," Xyrus muttered but was heard by everyone making them sweat in fear of who will be the next one.

Meanwhile, Hades also heard him and he froze in his place. He immediately stood up and said to Zeus, "I-I'll just use the bathroom." And left without hearing Zeus's answer

Zeus was about to agree since there's nothing harm in it but suddenly realize that Hades was just bones what is he gonna do in the bathroom? Shave his bones?

Zeus just shrugged it off and fell into thinking about who was the God that Xyrus was talking about.

'I hope it's not me. I haven't touched a woman for hundreds of years. Even Hera is not exempted on this.' Zeus sighed in sadness making his wife, Hera asks what was going on. Zeus just answered nothing.

'Run, run, run!' This is currently on Hades's mind right now while running away.

He can't teleport since this dimension is locked so all he could do for now is run as far as possible.

"Hello there!" Hades suddenly heard a voice behind him and when he looked back, he saw Xyrus closing on him without even moving.

"Wait wait wait!" Hades knew running was pointless now so he stopped and tried to beg for forgiveness.

"I hope you have a good explanation, Hades-san." Xyrus finally catches up and calmly said while smiling.

But Hades knew what this smile meant, it mean he fucked up no matter what he do.

No matter what Hades does, he can't come up with an excuse making him despair more.

"3..." Xyrus started counting intensifying his fear and despair.

"2..." Hades finally can't hold it anymore and there is only one thought in his mind right now to escape this.

"1..." And that is fighting the man in front of him.

Darkness spreads and covered them both in a dome.

Meanwhile, the spike of huge amounts of energy was sensed by everyone making them alert on who dared to attack them.

But when they look back at the source, they saw a huge dome full of darkness.

".... That's Hades's, right?" Hermes asks while sweating as if he knew what's the meaning of this.

"Oh, Hades, what have you done..." Poseidon mutters while staring at the dome.

Meanwhile, the other Gods, Devils, Angels, fallen angels, and many more were staring at the huge dome of darkness.

Inside the dome, Hades and Xyrus were fighting.

'This is impossible! My <Dome of Darkness> should be absorbing his power?! Why isn't he weakening?' Unknown to him, Hades doesn't know the consequences of absorbing his power.

Of course, Xyrus already felt someone absorbing his power but he ignores it since he has a defense against it.

Just like predicted, the dome cannot handle the power it absorbs and it slowly cracked letting the light outside seep through.

"T-t-this?! This is impossibl-," Hades didn't manage to finish his sentence when the dome exploded into pieces, damaging everything around it.

*BOOOOOMMMMM*

Everyone including Xyrus who was invisible at the moment just watched the dome explode.

Why is Xyrus watching? Well, Hades isn't actually fighting the real Xyrus but his clone that is conjured by <Images of Ikonn>. Of course, the clone cannot fight since it's just an illusion but it still contains a piece of his power so the dome exploded when absorbed.

The duplicate of Xyrus slowly walked out of the explosion unscathed.

Hades was seen kneeling while cracks were seen on his bones.

The duplicate slowly walked towards the kneeling Hades as if mocking him.

When the duplicate Xyrus was close enough, Hades suddenly stood up and a lightning rod appeared on his skeletal hands and stabbed them through the duplicate of Xyrus.

"Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! I got you now!" Hades laughed in glee, maybe he could get the 3rd place strongest after this.

Everyone was shocked when they saw Hades stab Xyrus with Zeus's lightning rod.

Hades who was laughing like a maniac was about to establish himself as the 3rd strongest when they heard someone clapping their hand.

When they look at the source, Hades saw his nightmare sitting on a chair while clapping his hands.

"Hello there," Xyrus said when he saw them looking at him.

"H-h-how?!" Hades said while despair spread across his skull.

"How? I ain't gonna tell you, figure it out yourselves." Xyrus shrugged before continuing, "Welp, time to finish you off." He stood up and walked toward him, Hades tried the same tactic and stab Xyrus with the lightning rod.

*Ting*

As if hitting the densest material, not only did it not pierce through Xyrus's clothes but the lightning rod also got bent sideways making Zeus feel like crying while also feeling like killing Hades.

"Any last words?" Xyrus said while conjuring an eldritch katana coated with intense light energy that even Michael was blinded by it not to mention the devils who could feel their skin burning even from a far distance.

Since Hades is also the God of Darkness then typically, Light is also his weakness.

Before Hades could say his last words, the eldritch katana sliced through his neck like a knife through butter.

Every olympian God winced at Hades's death. If anyone dares to kill an olympian god they'll declare war but this was different, we're talking about the 3rd strongest here who killed one of them. All they could do was just watch.

And just like that, Hades, the God of Underworld, Death, Wealth, and Darkness got his head decapitated.

"... Don't try escaping," Xyrus said while doing a grabbing motion and grabbing a black ball of light.

"Think you can escape?" Xyrus asks innocently.

Hades's soul just shakes his head while struggling to free himself from Xyrus's hands.

Suddenly, an injection appeared on the other hand of Xyrus and stabbed the soul of Hades with it.

Soon the black slowly faded and filled the injection with black liquid.

This is Hades's divinity, Xyrus just used one of his artifacts called <Divinity Container> that absorbs a divinity from a soul like an injection taking out blood from a person.

Once the injection is filled up, Xyrus gripped the soul of Hades and exploded into white light.

Once done, the injection on his hand disappeared and he turned around and calmly said, "Shall we continue on the show?"

They all just bowed their head like pecking chickens.

Xyrus just smiled at them.
